Here is my prototype for how I change/load different scenes in my game 🔄
I'm hoping to get decent mileage out of this sinking table effect, and hopefully I'm able to make the transition a bit smoother and more enjoyable to a player 😬
Still trying to catch pokemon in 2024!
It was actually my fiancée's first time playing Pokémon FireRed this weekend. She chose Squirtle and I frankly am still trying to process her decision.
by far the coolest bug I've ever made LOL

I was trying to change my fullscreen effect to use a dark colored border (from where it previously used a thin black outline) but I accidentally removed the previous frame and was left with this. I’m pretty sure this is the coolest bug I’ve ever encountered lol BUT it is competing with my previous favorite bug where I made (accidentally) a chess engine that would submit cheating moves as valid moves LOL
Anyway, I think this effect is ultimately something I’ll redact as I don’t see it being applicable to my current project. Although, I am curious what you would use it for? 🤔
I wanted to try again to create a similar doodle effect like before… here I tried to make a simple watercolor-doodle visual… I think this is worse than before but I'm not sure 🤔
I can now pixelize any game! HEH 😈

I created a pixelization effect using a fullscreen effect shader, I don't think I'll use the result most likely, but it was fun to explore 😬
