Hey, I really love that Cardinals in love sweater! Are you selling any that are already knitted instead of the pattern? I’m not a very good knitter.
Hi! I'm not sure how long ago you sent this (I apologise for any delay) but I do take custom sweater orders on my etsy

Dear tumblr knitters,
Would anyone like to join me in making January the unofficial “Knit for Charity” month?
I have several friends who work/volunteer at various non-profit organizations, and they’ve told me that their donations really taper off after Christmas because everyone feels that they’ve done their Christmas duty by donating in December. But they need donations year-round, and at least where I live, it gets waaaay colder after December, and warm items are needed from January to April.
After knitting Christmas gifts during December, I would personally like to dedicate January to knitting only for people in need. Would anyone like to join me?

The smallest Mountain Range Sweater I’ve made!
Unfortunately I was not thinking when I made this commission so I did not write everything down.
I’ve reverted back to make-it-up-as-i-go mode, but I do have the charts, so if there is enough interest I will included it in the Mountain Range Sweater Pattern sizes. Test knitting it will be good practice for my impending baby.

Foxy Sweater bottom up re-knit is ready!  Get the pattern here.
This was the softest yarn I’ve ever worked with and I plan on making a lot more out of it!
Malabrigo Arroyo is a 100% superwash merino sport weight that is so soft to knit with, but it does relax more than what I would expect a superwash merino to do so your project will come out longer than expected. Gauging helps, but the weight of an actual sweater did cause some draping.
I’m not modeling this one because of my growing baby bump :)

So this is happening... I am bursting with patterns that I want to make our baby, but am currently drowning in commissions and projects for friends who are pregnant too.
Don’t worry though, I’m sure he will be modeling my baby knits as soon as possible so poor baby Dany cat doesn’t have to anymore :)

I designed a sweater pattern for Daruma!  It was so much fun and the yarn was beautiful to knit with. They took some amazing photos of the finished sweater!
The pattern is on Ravelry
I also highly recommend Genmou (the yarn featured here) and Geek (a super cool yarn that I hope to knit with soon)

This custom snake sleeve sweater was an attempt to capture my client’s favorite snake, the Australian Tree Snake!
I used Tosh sport for the green and Sweet Georgia Yarns Sport
(Note to knitters: Sweet Georgia Yarns Sport is thinner than Madeline Tosh sport. Maybe use the DK weight if you’re mixing it in one project. Of course this can all be avoided with a LYS, but alas the nearest one is a 3hr drive from me).

I try to learn something new with each project. This time I'm knitting the sleeves simultaneously... Not sure if I like this method, but it was worth a try.

Hi! I was wondering what needles do you use? What are your favorites?
Oh I have not tried very many, but I enjoy the interchangeable wood kind.I got mine from knitpicks.com. They have a smooth finish, but they still have a little bit of texture, plus they're pretty 😉

That project I have been working on for what seems like forever, has been turned into a baby blanket.
I have enough squares to make 2 more of these!

Finished!  After washing and blocking the blanket became very loose so I wouldn’t feel right selling it, but I will be giving it to my next friend who becomes pregnant... Let the games begin.
See the other one in the top left corner?  It is exceptionally squishy and warm, but it has an uneven edge. Pictures to come

Do you happen to have a pattern for the snake sweater? I absolutely love that one!
Unfortunately I do not have that one public. There were a lot of issues with the sleeves. I've knitted it 3 times and have had 6 different sleeves!
