It says in the info doc that if the application/google drive link does not work that the application will be instantly looked over. If an applicant’s portfolio link does not work will they be notified of the problem so they can resend?

Hi! We will not be notifying applicants of broken links. When you finish the application, a copy of your responses will be emailed to your account. Additionally, we allow response editing on the form. That way, you can double check everything is in order as many times as you like!

Clarification for people like me;

Does 16+ mean you have to be over 16 or 16 and older? ^^

Hey there! In our case, 16+ means 16 and older. So if you're currently 16 you're fine to apply.

Hi!!!! I do not have a finished portfolio at the moment but I am working on it and am sure it will be done at least a week before the deadline for applications has come and gone. I have looked over the guidelines for applications and even looked at the example artist portfolio that was put out but I still have a teensy question 😅 Whenever I am working on my portfolio I get really aware of my lack of skills in lighting and rendering 😬 and I was wondering if that was a big dealbreaker in getting accepted for applications.

Hey! We would love to see your work regardless, we're open to all styles of artwork. If your style leans more towards flat colors, we'll only be looking to see that you can do that style consistently! Our example artist portfolio actually doesn't have much rendering or fancy lighting but still showcases good quality and consistency.

I want to apply to the zine... but I'm not sure what the theme for the zine is .. is it canon compliant gen vld?, or it has to be klance-centric idea? thanks! and keep up the excellent work organizing this zine! and sorry if you answered this one before

Thanks for the question! This is a canon-compliant Klance zine. We are open to the inclusion of other characters, but we just ask that they are limited to background roles in any implementation.
