Lee!Venti | Ler!Diluc Short, but I felt like writing something lol
~
Venti squirmed around in Diluc’s strong grasp - seemingly unable to escape. He tried kicking, scratching, and even biting at one point, but nothing would make Diluc’s grip loosen.
“I’m sure you understand why you’re in this position, you drunkard,” Diluc whispered in Venti’s ear. The Archon giggled feeling air being blown into his ear.
Diluc had an arm around Venti’s waist, holding him in place as his other hand squeezed his sides with no mercy whatsoever. Venti squealed like a pig and writhed like a worm. His drunkness was about to be tickled out of him as a punishment for not paying his tab tonight.
Quite the playful punishment it seemed, but surprisingly, the Archon was deathly ticklish.
When Diluc drove his fingers into the bard’s armpit, he shrieked and threw his hands anywhere he could. His face was red and he felt his body weaken. He had no control over himself! What a shame, but he certainly deserved this.
“I hope you learn a lesson during this,” Diluc muttered, letting his fingers wiggle underneath Venti’s arm rather roughly. Venti had clamped his arms to his sides, which kept Diluc’s fingers in place. Bad idea. Those fingers were quick and strong, scratching and clawing underneath Venti’s arm, causing him to lay his head on Diluc’s shoulder and beg for mercy.
“PuhuhUHUHulehease!” Venti cried out. Diluc sighed. “Pay your debts next time, and we won’t have this problem.”
Venti was released and fell to the floor. He was dizzy and still a bit drunk… Diluc thought it was shameful. He picked the bard up and carried him to the Goth Grand Hotel, where he booked him a room and left him for the night - with a note, reading: “Archons shouldn’t be ticklish.”

Ticklish Massage
Lee!Midoriya | Ler!Kirishima Foot-focused tickling
Summary: Midoriya complains about his feet aching from training, so Kirishima decides to offer up some help. However, Kirishima's curiosity gets the best of him.
~
“A what..?’
Midoriya raised a brow.
“A massage! You said your feet hurt, right?” Kirishima gleefully replied, a grin on his face.
The green-headed boy thought for a moment, then soon after agreed. After all, how could he pass it up? His soles ached like hell from training so hard - he needed a remedy, quick.
“Alrighty, give ‘em here!” Kirishima held his hands out, signaling to his friend that he was ready to go.
Midoriya thanked him before placing his ankles in his hands. The redhead nodded, “No worries! I’m always here to help, man!”
Kirishima began the massage by suddenly drilling his two thumbs into the top pads of Midoriya’s left foot. He moved his thumbs in circular movements, completely unaware of how it was affecting his friend.
Midoriya nearly bit his tongue trying to keep his laughter inside his mouth. His cheeks held bubbles inside of them, ready to pop and release all of his cute giggles at any moment.
Kirishima glanced over at Midoriya, to see him gripping onto the floor’s carpet and mending his lips shut. He sensed something was off, but continued with his massage.
The boy’s next destination was Midoriya’s arch. He again, used two thumbs to circularly massage into the rather smooth skin. This time, when he looked over at Midoriya, he spotted his fists banging on the floor, as his lips trembled.
“Somethin’ wrong, Midoriya..?” Kirishima worriedly asked, not putting two and two together. He kept massaging Midoriya’s arch, not a care in the world.
“Oh- N…noho-nothing…” Midoriya replied, letting a singular giggle slip. He hoped that Kirishima didn’t hear it, otherwise, he’d probably realize what was going on.
“Oh…ya sure?” Kirishima brushed a finger against Midoriya’s toes - hoping he could prove a past suspicion.
Midoriya giggled, throwing his hands out to try and stop Kirishima’s finger from going anywhere else. However, Kirishima had already pulled the boy’s ankles into an armlock.
“Ohoho, I knew it! Our little friend is ticklish on his feet! How adorable!” Kirishima teased, fluttering a few fingers against both of Midoriya’s soles.
“No, I’m not!- Ah- stahahahap!” Midoriya chuckled, covering his face. He was afraid this would happen!
“Oh, c’mon…it’s alright to be ticklish,” Kirishima replied, scribbling a finger beneath Midoriya’s toes. He knew how ticklish his friend was from past experiences, so there was no point in trying to hide it.
“Wait!- NohOHOHoh! I cahan’t tahahAHAHEHEhehahake ihit!” Midoriya squealed, thrashing his legs around to no avail. Kirishima’s grip was too strong - he wasn’t escaping anytime soon.
If it weren’t for Kirishima’s love of cute laughter and giggles, this would’ve been done from the start. But how could he resist hearing Midoriya’s sweet laughter?! A simple answer - he couldn’t.
Kirishima raked five of his fingers up and down Midoriya’s feet, starting at the balls, swiftly moving up to the pads, and then making a stop at the toes to tease them. Then, moving back down the pads and so forth.
Midoriya was done for. He was basically howling with laughter, trying to reach Kirishima’s back to punch him or something. P.S., it didn’t work. It only gave Kirishima more of a reason to tickle him.
“Y’know, a little birdie told me that your thighs were ticklish…” Kirishima hummed. He looked over at Midoriya, who looked like he’d seen a ghost.
“Whohoho tohold you thahat?!”
“Why’re you still laughing? I’m not even ticklin’ you!” Kirishima chuckled. “Hm, maybe I should check your thighs just to make sure.”
Midoriya yelped when Kirishima pounced on his waist, straddling him. He sat facing Midoriya’s thighs so that he could have full access to the supposedly ticklish area. He quickly began to squeeze the tops of his knees, causing him to writhe around, desperate to escape this ticklish nightmare.
Kirishima then pinched the insides of Midoriya’s thighs. This drove Midoriya crazy, to the point where his face turned red and a singular tear went down his cheek.
Kirishima turned around to see this and giggled. “Too ticklish for your own good, huh?” He asked, getting off of the boy and helping him up on his feet.
Midoriya rubbed his soles on the carpet. He still felt like he was being tickled by Kirishima.
The redhead gave Midoriya a pat on the back and offered him an actual foot massage if he was still hurting. The boy was smart and decided to do it himself. He knew Kirishima would pull something sneaky again.

Loser!
Lee!Bakugo | Ler!Kirishima
Summary: Bakugo thinks he's an invincible force when it comes to playing games with Kirishima. He makes a stupid bet and lives to regret it - or not.
~
“Yeah, loser! I told you I’d win! Bakugo exclaimed, throwing his controller in the air. Kirishima frowned. Why wasn’t he doing as well as usual with these video games that he and Bakugo were playing?
Usually, he’d destroy anybody who’d challenge him. However, Bakugo had been the one defeating Kirishima every single round. Bakugo was so sure of his capabilities to win another round, that he’d offered up a challenge.
“If I lose this next round, I’ll let you tickle me for five minutes straight. Got it?”
Kirishima’s eyes widened. Was Bakugo serious? Kirishima knew how ticklish the boy was, and was sure that he would never offer something like this up. Was Bakugo sick or something?!
“Got it,” Kirishima nodded, grabbing his controller and preparing to beat Bakugo’s ass in this next round. It would be difficult, but he had more motivation than ever before.
-
Player 1 wins!
Bakugo looked to the side to see Kirishima with a grin on his face. Who might player one be? None other than Kirishima himself.
“Hah…alright, let’s do two out of three,” Bakugo tried to get himself out of this situation, but Kirishima had already leaped on top of him, straddling his thighs.
“Hey! Get the hell off! Fuhuck!”
Kirishima drilled his thumbs into Bakugo’s hips, eliciting a sweet laugh from his lips. He writhed around vigorously, trying his best to escape.
“You said five minutes, right? I still have four minutes and forty-five seconds left!” The redhead teased.
He kept one hand on Bakugo’s hips, letting the other one venture deep beneath his shirt and onto his sides. That one hand latched onto Bakugo’s ticklish flank and wiggled its fingers, not letting up a single inch.
“Gah!- NoHOHOHoho! Kihirishihima! StoHOHAHAHOhop ihit!” The blond howled.
Kirishima giggled at the sight of Bakugo’s pinkish cheeks. It seemed as if he was blushing. “Do you like this?” Kirishima cooed, moving both of his hands onto the boy’s ribs. All ten of his fingers drilled into his ticklish ribcage, raking up and down, making sure they could feel each ribbone that he had.
Bakugo laid his head back and shrieked, kicking his legs and shaking his hips. He thought to himself how much he hated being tickled - but for some reason, he was enjoying it today. Perhaps it was because it was Kirishima who was tickling him, but either way, he purposefully stopped trying to resist.
Kirishima grabbed Bakugo’s wrists - which was an accomplishment - and held them above his head with one hand. He had a smirk on his face as he snuck a hand underneath Bakugo’s arm, now clawing all five of his fingers across the ticklish pit.
Bakugo was in hell. This was the most tickling he’d ever had to endure in his life. “OhohOHOkahaAHAY! It’s bEHEHEheen fihive mihiHAHAhinutes!”
Kirishima looked at the clock and realized that it had been six minutes. He didn’t say anything, though. He got off of Bakugo and quickly stood up, ready to defend himself if Bakugo tried to get revenge - which he didn’t, surprisingly.
Bakugo chuckled and grabbed his controller, ready for another round. This time, he was surely going to beat Kirishima. Or, was he going to lose on purpose again..?

Laughter is Beautiful
Lee!Dan Heng | Ler!Argenti & March 7th
Summary: Argenti notices a bruise on Dan Heng and accidentally tickles Dan Heng - revealing his ticklishness. He decides that he wants to hear more of his friends' laughter.
~
Dan Heng lowered his head, eyes focused on his lap. He tapped his feet against the Astral Express’s floor, creating a rhythmic beat to his liking.
Hours had passed. Around four to be exact. And Argenti just kept rambling about how beautiful joy is—smiling, too. He claimed that he urges everyone around him to smile at least twelve times a day, which would now include everyone on the Astral Express.
He’d already gotten March and Welt on board. Then was Himeko, Caelus, and even Pom-Pom. But Dan Heng was difficult, and Argenti knew that, so he saved him for last.
“Do you understand the benefits of smiling, Dan Heng? It’s a positive action! Don’t you just adore positivity?” The redhead would’ve gone on and on had Dan Heng not interrupted him.
He raised his head and sighed, replying: “Yes, positivity is much adored by me. However, I adore silence a little bit more.”
Argenti chuckled, placing a hand on the annoyed man’s shoulder. He hadn’t caught on to what he was implying and assumed that he was cracking a joke.
“Ah! See? I’ve just laughed, and my mood has therefore been boosted positively! Thank you, Dan Heng, since you are the one who is responsible for my laughter.”
“You’re welcome.”
Argenti kept his hand on Dan Heng’s shoulder, inspecting the man’s neck. It was unclear why, but it seemed that the knight was intrigued by something. He moved his hand onto Dan Heng’s neck. Dan Heng swatted at Argenti’s hand, to which the man pulled it back into his lap.
He swiftly apologized and began to explain what he was doing.
“I had spotted a strange mark on the side of your neck…it worried me! So, I tried to examine it further by touching it. I apolo-,”
“It’s alright. Just ask next time.” Dan Heng’s reply was short and quick. However, he did appreciate Argenti’s concern.
“Well…may I?” Argenti asked, raising a hand to his neck, but not touching it yet.
Dan Heng was silent for a few moments.
“Ah, alright. I apologize again if I made you upset. Thank you for listening to my-,” Argenti was interrupted once again. Surprising! It seemed like his rambling session was about to wrap up, but Dan Heng was about to make it go on for even longer.
“No need to apologize. And yes, you may. It’s just a shallow bruise…not sure how I got it.”
Argenti’s eyes widened as if he’d never seen a bruise before. He was about to interrogate Dan Heng, asking if he was alright and if he could do anything to help, but he didn’t want to come off as overbearing.
The knight extended a finger onto Dan Heng’s bruise. He slid it across the border, drawing a circle shape around the purple-ish patch of skin. Argenti could feel Dan Heng tense up.
“I apologize, I can sense that you’re feeling uncomfortable.”
Dan Heng shook his head in disagreement.
“That wasn’t discomfort, I just got the chills for some reason,” Dan Heng lied. He had tensed up, but not because he was afraid or anything. It was because of something a bit more light and playful. Something that he prayed Argenti wouldn’t discover. He began to imagine all the rambling he’d do about it if he did…
Argenti nodded and continued to trace the bruise on Dan Heng’s neck. He hummed and took notes on the shape and color. Had he never seen a bruise before..? Surely he had to since he’s a knight. Perhaps this was just a sudden burst of curiosity.
Dan Heng’s heart skipped a beat when Argenti slid a finger from his bruise, down to his collarbone. He clamped his head down to his shoulder and almost giggled. He caught himself just before he was about to expose his secret.
“Is something wrong? Or is this just another series of chills?” Argenti questioned, raising a brow. He became suspicious of Dan Heng…surely chills don’t cause these types of reactions.
Argenti lifted Dan Heng’s head with his finger and spoke: “Is there something you aren’t telling me?”
The suspicious knight took his finger and lightly dragged it against Dan Heng’s jawline, traveling beneath his chin. Dan Heng’s face grew red as Argenti teasingly ticked the spot beneath his chin with a single finger.
“What are you doing? Stop it, now! Eheh, I said stohahop!” Dan Heng giggled, once more bringing his chin down to his neck, trying to defend the underside of his chin from Argenti’s sneaky tickles.
That worked only for a moment. Argenti chuckled at Dan Heng’s weak attempt and used both of his hands to send fingers across the sides of his neck. They fluttered against the sensitive skin, causing Dan Heng to giggle even more.
“Ahah, ahargentiheh! Get away!” Dan Heng pushed Argenti’s hands away from his neck. The man decided to help Dan Heng out and remove them himself. But, this wasn’t the end.
“How wonderful…you laughed! Well, giggled. You have such beautiful giggles, Dan Heng,” Argenti was grinning from ear to ear. He had successfully made Dan Heng laugh, or as Argenti would say, giggle.
The two men sat in silence for a few moments. Dan Heng was embarrassed out of his mind because of how ticklish he was. And to make it even worse, Argenti knew it too.
Argenti was silent for a different reason. He was creating a plan to excavate even more laughter from his ticklish friend!
The redhead had finished making his plan. With Dan Heng looking away from embarrassment, this would be the perfect time to attack.
Argenti gently grabbed Dan Heng’s thigh, squeezing the inside sector. Dan Heng yelped and tried to push the hand away from his thigh, but Argenti was a bit stronger, so it didn’t work.
“You don’t like this, Dan Heng? Laughter is beautiful! Give in and laugh!” Argenti spoke, now pinching all around Dan Heng’s thighs.
“I can’t laugh because I’m nohot ticklish! Nohow stop!”
Argenti leaned close to Dan Heng’s face, catching the man off guard. While he was surprised, Argenti straddled his waist and began to chuckle.
“My friend, being ticklish is such a silly thing to deny! The proof of your sensitivity is your laughter–which there is no shortage of…” Argenti spoke, lightly kneading Dan Heng’s waist.
Dan Heng covered his face, hiding his pink cheeks and his large smile. The man was conflicted - should he swat at Argenti’s hands, or keep his blushing a secret? Soon, this wouldn’t even be a question. Argenti snatched Dan Heng’s wrists and held them with one hand above his head.
Argenti teased the man beneath him by slowly inching his hand closer and closer to his armpits, but then pulling them away and repeating. The anticipation drove Dan Heng crazy. He knew that his most ticklish spot was about to be wrecked, but he had hope that Argenti would stop his antics before it got to that.
“Question: How much would you laugh…if I tickled you here?” Argenti asked, poking Dan Heng’s armpit with one finger. He left it there to linger afterward, as a reminder that he wasn’t even near finished.
Dan Heng bit his lip and writhed around. He was so close to letting out a stream of giggles.
Argenti dug his fingers into the man’s armpit, causing him to lay his head back and howl with laughter. He wiggled all ten of his fingers inside of Dan Heng’s ticklish hollows, not giving him a single break.
“AHAhahargeheHEHehenti! I cahant taHAHAHOHOhake ihit!” Dan Heng couldn’t form proper words at this point. Only giggles and laughter, with one or two actual words every so often.
Argenti clawed gently at his sides, prepared to end his shenanigans…that was until March 7th walked in! She caught sight of what was happening and happily joined in, not even needing to be asked.
“MahaHARAHAHAharch?! WhahaHOHAHAhat ahare you dohohoing?”
March had sat by Dan Heng’s legs, pulling his ankles into an armlock. She scribbled her fingers against his bare soles, not saying a single word. Just smiling, carefree, as if she wasn’t about to make somebody cry from laughter. She moved beneath his toes, too. This made Dan Heng turn into a ticklish mess, even more than he was before.
Argenti had tapped out for the day, getting off of Dan Heng’s waist. But March continued to scratch her nails across his arches and soles.
Dan Heng finally was able to pull his feet from March’s grasp since Argenti had gotten up. He watched March’s face turn nervous, with a playful smile. He pounced, ready to get his revenge on somebody who hadn’t even begun this entire fiasco!
Argenti crept out of the room, glad that he’d escaped tickled-free.

Squealing Santa 2023 Genshin Impact - Kaeya x Diluc
Tumblr media
A/N: Merry Christmas, Mango-anon! That's right, I'm your @squealing-santa this year!
Heheh, isn't it funny that we changed the roles? After getting a gift from you in last year's SS, I tried to come up with something just as special - hopefully I made it up to your expectations!
Also, I couldn't find any canon info about the characters' height, so let's just go along with this one, yeah?
I just want to wish you a happy holiday season and thank @hypahticklish for hosting the event again!
Summary: When you are decorating the place, 2 cm can make a lot of difference.
Word count: 1338 words
Tumblr media
“I think I remember this one, brother,” Kaeya chirped happily as he gently pulled another decoration from inside that old chest. Pinching the string that was attached to the toy to hold it up to his line of sight, Kaeya admired the golden, star-shaped object as it brought him some old memories from his childhood. “Hah, last time I saw this one, we still-”
“Care to do something other than reminiscing?” Diluc interrupted, with a frown on his face. Letting out an audible grunt, the redheaded dropped another box on top of the counter - also full of decorations.
By the end of the year, the people of Mondstadt had the tradition of decorating their houses to celebrate the arrival of winter and to cherish the moments they had together throughout that year. At least, most of the people did it.
Diluc wasn’t sure when it was the last time he had bothered to do something like this. He was even more clueless about why he decided to do it this time. Maybe his change of heart had something to do with the traveler or the latest events? Maybe after spending so much time with that spoiled bard was, at last, affecting him? Maybe was he sick? Diluc didn’t know - and did it really matter at this point? He looked to the side, spotting Kaeya’s smug, amused glance at him. Diluc rolled his eyes.
“My, of course, brother. I just couldn’t help myself… All the sweet memories coming back to my mind,” Kaeya mused poetically - mostly to annoy his brother even further. “I’m sure the winery will look just as lovely when we are done decorating it.”
Kaeya quickly got back to his feet, starting to hang a few garlands near the entrance, adding the ones that resembled small berries and snow flakes to enhance the composition even further. The captain smiled, proud of his work. “What do you think, Diluc?” Kaeya sighed proudly, placing his hands over his hips as he admired the results of his efforts.
However, as more seconds passed by and there was no sign of answers from his dear brother, Kaeya repeated himself, this time also looking back. “Diluc? What do you… think…”
“Just- agh, just a second,” Diluc grunted, gritting his teeth and stretching his arm as high as he could. Standing on the tip of his toes and leaning against the shelves, Diluc tried to place a bright, golden star on top of a tree - a spot that was clearly out of his reach.
Kaeya scoffed quietly, surprised that his brother would find such difficulties in such a simple task. “Do you need a hand? I could lift you if you want-”
“Shut it,” Diluc groaned, planting his heels back into the ground - and if looks could kill, Kaeya would’ve been sent to Celestia right at that moment. Diluc, already having his patience running short, looked at Kaeya’s work.
His eyes, despite all the charming decorations, focused on a garland that hung right in the middle of the composition. Diluc did the math inside his head and that thing was standing almost as high as the tip of the tree and, with no stairs or chairs around, it seemed that Kaeya managed to reach that spot effortlessly. Diluc felt that sight leaving a scratch on his ego. “Yeah, it’s decent I think,” Diluc huffed.
“Decent? Well, it’s still a compliment from you, I suppose, so I’ll assume I did a good job,” Kaeya crossed his arms, with a smug look on his face. The captain looked around and, after a few hours of work, they were almost done with the winery’s decoration: all that was left was the golden star in Diluc’s hand. “Let me finish that for you, brother.”
“What?” Diluc arched his eyebrow, turning his attention back to Kaeya.
“I said: let me finish that for you,” Kaeya repeated while approaching Diluc, reaching out his hand, waiting for the star to be handed to him.
“There is no need, I can do it myself,” Diluc narrowed his eyes and Kaeya chuckled. “What’s so funny?” The winery’s master muttered, getting back on the tip of his toes as he tried to reach the top of the tree.
“How tall are you?”
“W-what?” Diluc gasped, feeling a faint heat taking place in his hands. “What’s with this all of the sudden?” The reddish tones began to take a brighter shade around the tip of Diluc’s ears, almost matching his hairtone.
“Just curiosity,” Kaeya giggled, standing by Diluc’s side. Kaeya placed a hand over the top of his own head and moved it, hovering it just a couple of centimeters above Diluc’s. “Oh, I’m taller, indeed. I never noticed you were the smaller one…”
“S-so?” Diluc sighed annoyed, getting even angrier when he saw the way Kaeya looked at him. “It’s just… what? 2 centimeters? It’s not that much of a difference, it might even be thanks to the heels of your boots.”
“Well, brother, you see, 2 centimeters can make a lot of difference,” Kaeya teased, looking up to the tip of the tree. “Come on, let me help you ~”
“I don’t need your help,” Diluc insisted, determined to shut his brother by placing that damned star on top of the tree.
“Suit yourself.”
Kaeya watched carefully as Diluc tried to reach that spot again, holding the golden star with the tip of his fingers, barely keeping a hold on it. Almost there… so close…
“G-gah!” Diluc squeaked when he felt a pair of hands holding him by his waist. He felt another electric shock spread across his body when fingers dug into the spot - with just enough pressure so they could get a grip on his body.
“Q-quit squirming, you’re kind of heavy, you know?” Kaeya grunted, nearly getting hit by a flailing limb. With some effort, Kaeya managed to lift Diluc, getting him high enough so he could reach the top of the tree. “Hurry up..!”
“I- agh, aham tr-tryihihing!” Diluc choked on a laugh, struggling to reach out and place the star when all the nerves on his body were telling him to press his arms down his body. His brother being Kaeya, Diluc couldn’t be sure if that… feeling was a mere accident or something planned. “S-stohop squeehezing me lihihike t-that, you- ahah- ack!!”
“H-hoh?” Kaeya gasped, still managing to pull a tease in a situation like this. Diluc’s squirming was making it harder to keep him high up, but Kaeya would rather have them both falling to the ground than lose a chance to provoke Diluc like this. “H-how can you be… heh, this ticklish being this… short?”
“I’m nohot!” Diluc groaned, hitting Kaeya’s leg with his heel (mostly because of how his leg flailed than because he wanted to).
“You’re not what? Short or ticklish? Because it looks like you’re both” Kaeya squeezed Diluc’s waist again and a strangled laugh escaped his brother’s lips. Kaeya smirked. “J-just put the star over there, my arms are getting tired.”
“If you- ahah, f-fine!” Diluc groaned in defeat, grabbing the tree with one hand and pulling it closer. Finding it more difficult than it should be, at last, Diluc managed to place the golden star in place, quickly tapping his brother’s hand. “D-done! Put me down! Puhuhut me down!”
“As you wish, brother,” Kaeya said, lowering his brother back down until he could place his feet on the ground - safe and sound. “See? It wasn’t that hard, was it?”
Diluc breathed deeply, telling himself mentally this wasn’t the time to call Kaeya names and deciding that, just this once, he would let it slide… that, of course, under one condition. “One word about it…,” he threatened Kaeya - so brotherly-like of him.
“Huh? Or what?” Kaeya provoked him again, poking Diluc’s side and making him jerk away with a sharp gasp. “Come on, asking your big brother for help it’s nothing to be ashamed of…”
“Kaeya, no.” Diluc warned, wrapping his arms around his torso, “I’m serious. Kaeya, nohOHOH!! KahAHAHayea!”

Frozen Naps
wc: 1,075
chr: kaeya & diluc
sum: kaeya gets stuck, and the last person he wants to come rescue him does just that.
once again dni luckae shippers 😻
Tumblr media
Kaeya Ragnvindr. Knight, brother, lover, hero to many. Enemies cower when they hear his name, as he’s well trained in the fighting portion as he’s the Cavalry Captain.
And this Cavalry Captain was stuck.
In order to work his very best, he would take naps when he was too tired to work. Usually he takes these naps in solitary confinement with Klee, but today he felt like he wanted to get some fresh air while he sleeps. Bad idea.
Leading to the moments before he got stuck, he was sleeping next to a lake. Lakes usually have birds around them and fish in them, of course he knew that.
This time, though, a bird had woken him up in a panic. It landed on him and made him stir awake, see the bird looking down on him, and scared him into consciousness.
Unfortunately for him, his fear had activated his vision and made a thick layer of ice over both of his hands. After the bird had left, he tried hard to thrash out of the ice and break free, but as it was so thick it was futile. With that, he landed on his last resort: Yelling for help.
He yelled until his throat had gotten sore, and once again, to his luck, the last person he wanted had come to his rescue.
“Kaeya?!” Diluc yelled back, rushing over to his brother. He had assumed the worst, a droplet of sweat beading on his head. When he had gotten closer to him though, the situation was far more apparent.
“..Diluc.” Kaeya broke their silence. After Diluc had reached him, they both simply stared at each other. One in embarrassment, and one in confusion.
Then he burst out laughing.
“Kahahaeya, how did yohou-“ He bent down in a fit of laughter, Kaeya hiding his face in his forearm. “I was just— Napping, and, um— Well, I..got stuck.” He paused, allowing Diluc to compose himself. “Aha, yes, very funny. Now, at least you have a pyro vision! Please, dear brother, melt the ice?”
Diluc stood there for a moment, putting a hand to his chin in thought. “No, not yet.”
Kaeya furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, about to question his thinking, when Diluc had sat himself onto his thighs. What in the world? “Diluc, what are you doing? Let me g-OHO!” He arched his back, looking down to see two hands on either side of his ribs. Oh, no.
“Well, brother. Seems your luck has run out, hm? If I recall, you tick-..Tickl- Ugh. You did that thing to me, so why not return the favor to you?” Kaeya’s breath hitched, keeping his mouth closed as giggles had already started to surface in his chest.
Diluc slowly moved his fingers down the length of Kaeya’s ribs, smiling at the way he jerked at specific ones. “B-Brother, thihis is not nehecessary-“ After he had spoken, more and more giggles had started spilling out on accident.
“Oh, but if I said that, you would have said something along the lines of ‘I think it’s very necessary for someone who doesn’t laugh’.” Kaeya burst out into giggles at the imitation Diluc had made of him, squirming harder at the hands that were scribbling over his ribs.
“Dihihiluc!! Nohoho! Plehehease, get me ohoHOHOUT! AHAHA!” In the midst of his talking, Diluc had started to dig into the ribs that made Kaeya thrash the most. “Not yet, have patience.”
Kaeya has already developed a deep red on his face, finding the whole situation extremely embarrassing yet absolutely adoring it.
Kaeya squealed when his brother moved his hands down to his neck, arching his back up and crashing it back down, making dust come up from the ground. “NAHAHA! NOHOHOT THEHERE!” Kaeya wailed. Diluc only fastened his pace, knowing Kaeya’s limit by heart. “When you say ‘not there’, it only makes someone want to stay there.”
Kaeya attempted to growl at Diluc lightheartedly, but it only made him laugh as his growl came out as his laugh but much deeper. Diluc pulled up Kaeya’s shirt a bit to snake his hands under it, and that action alone made Kaeya shriek.
Diluc slowly circled his finger around Kaeya’s navel, his giggles dying down in volume. “Plehehease..Nohoho..Juhuhust let me ohout!”
Kaeya whined as Diluc’s finger had started closing in on the goldmine. Moments after he closed his eyes and prepared himself, it all stopped. He slowly opened his eyes and Diluc grinned at him evilly, immediately digging into his button. Kaeya screamed.
“OH AHAHARCHONS NOHOHO! DIHIHIHILUC! STAHAHAAA—“ Kaeya arched his back for the third time, shaking his head and trying his best to break out of the ice that held his arms up. Diluc only vibrated harder into it, making the Captain go silent.
Diluc softened the tickling to just skittering over his button, making Kaeya try to curl up while he squealed. “It’s so endearing remembering this is only your second worst spot.” Kaeya tried to retort, but Diluc had stood up to sit on his knees, positioning his hands on his thighs. Dear lord.
Kaeya fell silent, this time not from tickles but from pure anticipation and excitement. “Well,” Diluc started, “Are you ready?” Kaeya scoffed. “Of course not.” Diluc chuckled, and that only made Kaeya even more scared.
When Diluc finally went in for the kill and vibrated his fingers into Kaeya’s thighs, he wheezed, letting out the loudest cackles he has all day. “DIHIHILUC! NOHOHOHO! LEHEHET ME OHOHOUT AHAHAHALREHEADY!” Diluc chuckled, and after a few minutes of Kaeya’s bucking, screaming, and begging, he got off of his legs to sit next to his head.
While Kaeya gave his lungs what they needed the most, Diluc took off his glove and used his vision to melt the ice around Kaeya’s wrists. Kaeya immediately brought them down, hugging himself and curling onto his side. Diluc patted his back, looking down at his exhausted brother. “How did you even get stu-“
Before Diluc could finish his sentence, Kaeya had tackled him and frozen his wrists into ice. Diluc looked up at a now smug yet blushy Kaeya, in confusion and horror. God damn it, he wasn’t that exhausted, was he?!
Kaeya wiggled his fingers over Diluc’s underarms, making him jerk away. “Well, brother, did you really think I would let you go that easily?”
Diluc could’ve melted the ice, but he didn’t. Maybe he’ll allow it, just this once.

Cheer Up
Lee!Diluc | Ler!Kaeya
Summary: Diluc is having some troublesome thoughts, so Kaeya attempts to cheer him up!
Tumblr media
Diluc washed the last dirty cup of the day and put it away in a cabinet behind the bar. He considered pouring himself a glass of something, mostly as a reward for all of his hard work today. He was the only one tending to the tavern since all his employees had coincidently been sick today.
Wiping a drop of sweat off of his forehead, Diluc took a seat at a table. His thoughts clouded his head. They weren’t joyous thoughts, to say the least. They were quite negative. He wouldn’t have to dwell on them for too long though.
“Ah, there you are.”
Diluc whipped his head toward the door to see Kaeya stepping into the tavern. He had a grin on his face, from ear to ear. Diluc scoffed.
“Something wrong? Wouldn’t expect to see you here at this time.” Diluc cut his eyes to the clock– it was nearly midnight. He turned his back to Kaeya and began tapping his fingers on the table.
Kaeya chuckled, pulling out a seat and sitting beside Diluc. “Not necessarily. Well, I would count seeing my brother up this late as wrong. You should be elsewhere…perhaps a bed, no?”
“I had more work to do than usual. I was just about to head out, anyway.”
Kaeya mumbled something under his breath, then spoke more clearly: “Doesn’t seem like it.”
Diluc took a deep breath – one that you take when someone is getting on your nerves – and replied: “I don’t care what it seems like.”
Kaeya frowned. At first, he spoke teasingly because he could sense that Diluc was in a bad mood. He figured it might make him laugh, or giggle, but that wasn’t the case.
The two sat in an awkward silence for a few moments before Diluc spoke up.
“I should get going now.” He stood up but was interrupted by an excited Kaeya.
“Hold it! Sit back down! I just had the most wonderful idea.”
Diluc shut his eyes and bit his tongue. He was about to say something he shouldn’t, but he controlled himself and sat. “What?”
“Well…you seem to be in a bit of a…a…a sad mood?” Kaeya didn’t want to further Diluc’s mood, so he tried to find a more minor synonym for depressed.
Diluc didn’t say anything, but he didn’t have to either. It was obvious that he was sad about something. Kaeya didn’t know what it was, but he didn’t like seeing his brother like this. They may not have been on the best of terms, but they still cared about each other.
“So, I figured I’d cheer you up like I used to do when we were kids!” Kaeya exclaimed, reaching for Diluc’s sides and squeezing them as quickly as he could. Diluc was fast to swat them away, but he couldn’t keep himself from smiling.
“See! You can smile.” Kaeya cheered. He wasn’t done though. He carefully extended his arms and grabbed Diluc’s wrists. This was a hard task, but Kaeya made it seem easy. He had lots of experience from their childhood, though. Kaeya then kept Diluc’s hand above his head with one hand, letting his free hand tickle the redhead’s exposed armpit.
Diluc shrieked and kicked his legs under the table. He tried to keep his reactions to a minimum, such as wiggling and squirming around. Doing this would likely scoot some tables and chairs all around, meaning he’d have to set them right again.
Diluc was in an interesting situation. He could either bear the tickling and not create another mess to clean up, or he could give in and fall out of his chair. He wanted so badly to choose the first option, but when Kaeya pinched at a certain spot on his ribs, he yelped and hit the floor.
Kaeya followed him, still holding up his wrists. “Diluc! Have you gotten even more ticklish over the years?” He chuckled, straddling his brother's waist.
“Behehe quiehehehet!” Diluc giggled.
Kaeya teasingly responded: “Wow…telling your brother to be quiet? Maybe you deserve this more than I thought.”
He wiggled all five of his fingers in between Diluc’s ribs, making sure to tickle every single bone he could feel. Diluc laid his head back and howled with laughter. He didn’t realize how ticklish he was until now…
“Tickle, tickle, tickle!”
Diluc writhed beneath his brother, feeling his face become warm when he heard the teases.
“GeheHEHEhet off ohoHOHOF MEhehe! Nohohow!” He demanded.
“And what authority do you hold to make such demands?” Kaeya hummed, letting Diluc’s wrists go. He did this so that he could have an extra hand for tickling.
Kaeya shot both of his hands beneath his brothers shirt, scribbling across his belly and waist with vigor - determined to make him laugh a bit more.
“I swehehear to- ahAHAH STOhohahahoHOhop it! I beheHEHeheg!” Diluc became weak when Kaeya dug his fingers into a certain spot on his belly. It was right beneath his navel.
Diluc felt like he was going to tear up if he was tickled like this for any longer!
“KahaAHAHahaeya!” Diluc shouted. Kaeya smirked, letting his brother go and sitting back in his chair.
Diluc laid on the floor, trying to catch his breath. Kaeya started to giggle at the pathetic sight.
“We aren’t kids anymore…surely you shouldn’t be that ticklish! Toughen up!” He laughed.
Even Diluc had begun to smile. It was natural and not from being tickled. Kaeya saw this and felt pleased. He had succeeded in making his brother feel better.
The two shared a drink and engaged in small-talk for a bit, before wrapping the night up and heading home.
Diluc had to admit, he was glad that Kaeya had come around. It made his night ten times better.

Practicing tickle fights | Yamaguchi, Nishinoya & Hinata
Tumblr media
A/N: First commission from the always kind and super amazing Max (@wertzunge)! Thank you so much again for your kind, kind support Max! You are always so nice to me. I hope you enjoy these cuties!
Summary: Yamaguchi is a very reserved guy, but when he finds Nishinoya and Hinata having a tickle fight (again), he can't help but feel curious - what was it the last time he got tickled?
Tumblr media
He was tired. He never thought practicing could actually be this… painful. He was sore in places he didn't even know could be sore and he felt like dying with every step he took, however… it felt nice. Despite being tired both physically and mentally, he had never felt so energized and motivated to do something, especially something related to volleyball, but there he was, feeling like his heart wanted to explode out of his chest every time he noticed progress on his serve and when he received praise from his coaches and even Hinata.
He felt that after this camp, he could definitely be of more help to his team and that made him feel so happy, he could barely walk- yet again, he could barely walk with how sore he was.
“It hurts, it hurts,” he whined as he dragged himself outside, even though he wanted to rest for the night right there and then. He felt motivated, but he also felt like he could sleep for three years straight.
However, he still wanted to do a little more practicing before going to bed, he just needed a clean towel and his water bottle… his water bottle. Ah. Yamaguchi whined as it came to his mind that he had left his poor water bottle alone back in their room. Now he had to go all the way back for it… would it be better to go to sleep once and for all? He whined some more as he made his way back to the room, fighting the urge to just go to sleep and skip practice for that day. Only one day… couldn't be so bad, right?
He sighed, giving himself mental strength, but as he neared the room he couldn't help but get distracted by so much noise coming from inside, interrupting his inner speech about how persistence was the key. It sounded like screams and Yamaguchi was immediately worried, his feet moving quickly, in a rush to get there and see what was happening; he didn't know what to expect to find when he opened the door, but what he saw really blew him away.
“SH-SHOHOUYOU!”
“NOHOYAHA-SAHAHAN!”
Hinata and Nishinoya were inside the room… having a tickle fight? Yamaguchi blinked, perplexed, staring at the scene. So that was all the commotion he heard from the other side of the hallway? A tickle fight? He sighed in relief, he thought something bad had happened, but it was just his silly teammates.
Yamaguchi was very used to this. Tickle fights were a regular thing on the Karasuno team, especially between these two. Yamaguchi could tell from their big smiles and bright eyes that they were having too much fun as they tried to pin the other. Both Hinata and Nishinoya already knew each other's weakest spots and their skillful and quick fingers did not hesitate to attack those spots that made them throw their heads back with loud, hysterical laughter. Yamaguchi couldn't help but smile as he heard their contagious laughter, they really sounded happy even though their bodies desperately tried to escape when they were under attack.
How they could engage into these types of games so effortlessly would always be a mystery for Yamaguchi. Sometimes they only needed to look at each other to know what was about to happen and it didn't matter the time, both of them were so ready for it right away. Was it really that fun?
Hinata's laughter was really funny, he had to admit, it sounded so like him, if that made any sense. It was vibrant and somehow cute. Contagious and happy as his personality. Noya's laughter was also so like him: loud, boisterous and free. It escaped from his lips without restraints and without a care just like Noya. He never thought laughter could sound like one's personality. Yamaguchi was curious, but there was no way he would-
“Y-Yahahamahahuchihi,” Noya giggled, pointing at Yamaguchi by the door when he caught sight of him. Hinata, busy tickling Noya's sides, stopped and looked up to look at Yamaguchi and he grinned widely.
“Yamaguchi! What are you doing there? Do you want to join?” He was short of breath as if he had run a marathon, but he didn't look tired at all.
But, what did he just ask?! Yamaguchi felt his cheeks blushing and he shook his head and both his hands no. “That’s not it! I just came here for my bottle, I'm going to practice… again…”
They were not listening to him, were they? Noya was laughing so hard as Hinata tried to pin his arms above his head; so he was surprised when they called his name again.
“Yahamaguchi! C'mon!” Noya said, cackling a little when Hinata tickled his ribs for a bit. “Y-Yohohou nehever join us in a tickle fight! Didn't even Tsukishima tickle Kageyama the other day?”
Yamaguchi chuckled. Tsukki would do anything in his power to make Kageyama feel embarrassed, of course he would even join in a tickle fight just to wreck him, but Yamaguchi? He didn't feel the need to join, really, it was fun to watch so he never thought about actually playing as well.
“Yes! Laughing is also healthy for your lungs, Yamaguchi!” Hinata said, giggling brightly as Noya squeezed his thigh.
“And you won't believe the workout you do in a tickle fight! So come here, quickly!”
Yamaguchi blinked a couple of times, he looked behind him into the hallway and then looked at Hinata and Noya again. Well… it wouldn't hurt, right? If he was quick enough, he could avoid being tickled, but even so… maybe getting tickled wouldn't be that bad, he thought.
Clearing his throat, Yamaguchi finally stepped in, his steps slow as both Hinata and Noya sat up, grinning brightly and excitedly at him as they saw him kneeling beside them. Yamaguchi felt his hands trembling a little as he was under their playful gaze.
“Our Shouyou here will be kind enough to let you tickle him,” Noya said, making Yamaguchi jump when he placed a hand on his shoulder, the libero giggled. “Lay down, Shouyou.”
“Huh?! Why me?” Hinata whined, but he did what he was told and even raised his hands above his head. “Noya-san is more ticklish than me,” he pouted and Noya was quick to have his fingers digging slightly into Hinata's ribs, making him laugh and squirm, his arms half way down already.
“Did you see that? Shouyou is very ticklish on his ribs,” Noya explained, vibrating his fingers in between the spaces of Hinata's ribs, making him finally lower his arms. “You can try it, Yamaguchi. Don't be too rough, though. You could hurt him and we don't want that.”
Yamaguchi nodded, his lips sealed in a thin line as he approached Hinata, who had raised his arms again, but was giggling like a kid. Yamaguchi would have chuckled, listening to Hinata's giggles, but he was nervous. He couldn't say he had much experience with tickling. He was an only child, so he didn't have tickle fights with his siblings. Tsukishima and Akiteru have tickled him before, but that was when he was a kid and he didn't get to tickle them back since they always ganged up on him. He didn't get tickled in Karasuno either, even though they did have many tickle fights, he never personally joined nor they made him join before.
So he was not surprised when he finally touched Hinata's ribs and he simply flinched slightly. His smile was bright, but no laughter came out.
“Harder, Yamaguchi!” Hinata encouraged him and Yamaguchi clawed at his ribs a bit harder, this time Hinata did giggle, jerking slightly to the side. “I cahahan tahake mohohore than that!”
“Don't be afraid, Yamaguchi! It's just tickling! Hinata loves it, believe me!”
“I dohohon’t, you dohoho!”
Yamaguchi was not scared, he just didn't know how to do it! He couldn't help but tense even more as they kept telling him how to do it. No matter how hard he tried, Yamaguchi could only make Hinata giggled slightly and squirm softly, nothing compared to when Noya was doing this.
“I think I can't,” he finally admitted, stopping his tickling and looking back at Noya. “I don't know how to- ah, wait! What-”
He was surprised when he was suddenly pushed back by Noya who hovered over him with a bright, evil grin, showing all his teeth. Yamaguchi tensed and all the alarms in his head went off as he also saw Hinata joining Nishinoya.
“I think Shouyou and I should teach you how to do this, Yamaguchi, don't you think so, Shouyou?” Noya said, winking at Hinata.
“Yes! Don't worry, Yamaguchi! You'll learn first hand how to tickle someone!”
“W-Wait! I don't think this a good idea,” Yamaguchi said, blushing. “I just wanted to get my bottle, I have to do some practicing and- aaagh! N-Noya-san! Nohohohoyahaha-sahahan!”
Laughter escaped from his lips at the mere contact of Noya's fingers against his sides. Yamaguchi thought he had stopped being ticklish as he grew up, but now he knew he was very wrong, if anything, he thought he felt even more ticklish now, but it could be that he was a bit too nervous at that moment, actually, why was Nishinoya so good at tickling?!
“Nohohoho!” He laughed, squirming and trying to push Noya's hands away from his sides.
“You see now, Yamaguchi? You have to do it firmly, but not too hard and you are just as ticklish as Shouyou!”
Yamaguchi could barely focus on Noya's words as he was a bit overwhelmed by the tickles on his sides, but he did hear Hinata squeaking out a protest, claiming that Noya was the most ticklish between them too. Much to Yamaguchi's embarrassment, they quickly came to the conclusion that he was the most ticklish among the three.
“Okahahahay! Okay! I gehehehet it! I'll try ahahahagain!” He pleaded, tilting his head back with laughter when Noya massaged his lower sides, thumbs digging into the sides of his stomach.
“Hey, I want to tickle Yamaguchi too!” Hinata claimed and Yamaguchi squeaked out a cackle when he felt his hands clawing at his stomach under his shirt! “He really is so ticklish, look at him, Noya-san!”
Noya laughed, “this is why you never join us, Yamaguchi?”
Yamaguchi shook his head, jerking this way and that, but unable to escape their hands. “NOHOHO! Stahahahap! It tihihihickles!”
Both gremlins giggled at Yamaguchi’s words, but they didn't stop, on the contrary, Yamaguchi felt as if their fingers increased in speed and it suddenly didn't feel like just four hands, but ten climbing up and down his sides and clawing and wiggling at his tummy. Yamaguchi giggled and laughed and squeaked, his hands flailing around, trying to push their hands, to cover his stomach, to drag himself out of it, but it was all useless as they tickled him as if they knew where exactly to touch to have him losing his mind.
And yet, Yamaguchi couldn't deny he was having fun. He was able to pinch firmly at Hinata's side or wiggle his fingers under Noya's arm, but even though they laughed, his actions only backfired and they tickled him more.
“I'll dihihihie!” He said dramatically, stubbornly denying the fact that he was having a good time. “PLEHEHEASE! H-Hinahahataha! Don't do thahahat!”
“What! What! This?” He asked excitedly as his hand vibrated right in the center of Yamaguchi's tummy, around his belly button.
Yamaguchi barked out a laugh, nodding his head as he sucked on his belly, but as he tried to move away, Nishinoya held his sides in place, fingers digging in also making him laugh like crazy.
“Poor Yamaguchi, he can't stop us!” Noya teased, giggling and whining when Yamaguchi's knee hit him in the back. “Ouch? Why are you hurting your senpai, Yamaguchi? That just won't do! Do you want me to tickle your feet?”
Yamaguchi shook his head desperately. “NOHOHO! I'M SOHOHORRY!”
Noya grinned. “Did you hear that, Shouyou? I think Yamaguchi here is hiding something on his feet! Help me out!”
“YES!”
“NOHOHO!” Yamaguchi laughed nervously, quickly turning on his stomach to flee away as both Noya and Hinata stopped tickling him to move lower, but perhaps since they were so tiny and Yamaguchi  was already weak from all that laughter, they caught a leg each, pinning them down with their weight. Yamaguchi shrieked, pulling at his trapped legs. “Nohoho, Nohohoya-san, Hinata! Please, listen! Lihihisten! LIHIHISTEN! NAHAHA!”
“Noya-san, Noya-san. I think we found Yamaguchi's worst spot!”
“Aren't we lucky, Shouyou?"
“NAHAHAT THEHEHERE, STAHAHAP!”
Blunt nails raked up and down his socked soles. Yamaguchi howled with laughter, fists banging against the floor as he tried to crawl away from them, but damn they had him pinned good. One pair of hands skittered their nails against the ball of his foot, making him cackling like mad as the other pair found that hypersensitive spot underneath his toes that not even Yamaguchi knew was ticklish.
Tears of laughter streamed down his face and his cheeks and stomach ached a little from laughing so much, he really thought it couldn't be worst, but then he felt them pulling his socks off and when they tickled him again, he was a goner.
“STAHAHA- HINAHAHA- AHAHAHA! PLEHEHEA!”
Half words were the only thing he could manage out as they wrecked his poor feet. Nails scritch-scratching the sides of his feet, the arches and fingers wiggling under and in between his toes as his attackers giggled happily. He certainly had never been tickled like that before and soon his laughter had started to turn wheezy and silent.
“Noya-san, do you think Yamaguchi had learned how to properly do this?”
Yamaguchi wanted to scream that he did, but at that moment he could only howl with nearly hysterical laughter.
“Hmm, I wonder, shall we ask him?”
The tickling suddenly stopped and Yamaguchi went limp against the wooden floor. He pressed his forehead against the cool surface and let out residual laughter as he heard Nishinoya and Hinata moving up from his feet.
“So, Yamaguchi? How was it? Did you learn how to do it?”
He couldn't talk, or more like didn't want to, he felt slightly too embarrassed, even though he didn't hate it, he was still surprised about how ticklish he really was. Who would've thought? He really made a fool of himself laughing like that, right? Ugh, he wanted to disappear!
“Ah! Ahahahah, I dihihihid! I reheheally dihihid!” He giggled brightly when they tickled his ears, fingers lightly fluttering against the sensitive spot. He shook his head before covering his ears. “I knohohow how to dohoho it! I prohohomise!”
Hinata and Nishinoya giggled, finally stopping to let Yamaguchi catch his breath completely.
“How was it, Yamaguchi? Did you have fun?” Hinata asked as Yamaguchi sat up, face pink but breathing more stable.
“Yeah, doesn't it feel so good to just laugh?” Noya added, their eyes sparkling with happiness.
They were right. It was fun and it was somehow revitalizing. He liked it and he wondered how it was that he didn't join in the fun before.
He nodded shyly, “yes, it was fun. It feels weirdly nice, I think. I had never been tickled like that before. You both are brutal,” Yamaguchi said sincerely and the three laughed.
Ah, this was nice. It had been a long time since he had felt as light and vibrant as he did in those moments. Who knew that a ridiculous tickle war was what he needed to relax? Well, a very one sided tickle fight, if he may add, but not for long.
“What- AHAHAHAHA! N-NOHOHO!” Nishinoya’s laughter echoed through the whole room as Yamaguchi launched at him, fingers wiggling their way under the libero's arms, tickling him with enthusiasm.
“What do you think, Noya-san?” Yamaguchi teased, pinning Noya down and straddling his hips. “Do you think I learned something at all?”
“I'LL KIHIHIHILL YOHOHOU!”
“Let me help you!” Hinata chirped excitedly and he grabbed Noya's wrists, easily pinning his arms up above his head.
“DON'T! SH-SHOHOUYOU!”
Yamaguchi laughed brightly as he wrecked the poor libero. He never thought tickle fights could be that fun and it was even better since he knew these two silly boys enjoyed every second of it, so he let himself have fun tickling the two and letting them tickle him back.
Either way he could keep practicing extra hard tomorrow!

Free! Coffee Shots #1-9
A collection of the Free! sentence starters I’ve done, compiled for the sake of ease. These are all stand-alone stories.
~~~
1) Lee Rei, Lers Nagisa and Makoto
“Rei, you’re worrying too much—”
“No! I have to get the form perfect or it won’t be beautiful at all!” Rei sucked in a deep breath, letting it out slowly, concentrating. “One more time.”
Makoto glanced at Haru and Nagisa, exchanging shrugs with them as their newest member dove into the water for the fifth time in a row, trying to perfect his form within just a few days of finally being able to swim without sinking. The brunette watched him worryingly. Rei’s form wasn’t the best, sure, but he was still brand new. He couldn’t expect perfection right away, even if he was…well, Rei.
The newcomer completed his swim and climbed out of the water, shaking stray drops from his eyes. “How was that?”
“Better!” Nagisa encouraged enthusiastically, jumping over to him, placing himself between Rei and the pool. “You’re doing great, Rei!”
“But is there room for improvement? Surely there must be.” Rei turned to Makoto. “Captain?”
Makoto sighed. “You’ve got to be patient. You won’t be perfect right away, you know. And Nagisa’s right – you’re improving every time.”
Rei frowned. “But there’s still more work to be done.”
“There’s always more work to be done,” Makoto replied evenly.
Nagisa glanced up at his friend, saw his disappointed features, and hugged him from behind, startling the taller boy. “Don’t worry, Rei. You’ll be swimming like a pro before you know it! Just don’t push yourself, okay?”
Rei remembered their training camp and let out a resigned sigh. “I won’t.”
“Cheer up!” Nagisa grinned, turning playful in an instant. He scribbled lightly over Rei’s sides. “You’re no fun when you’re grumpy.”
“Ah! I’m n-nohohohohot grumpy! Nagisahahaha!” Rei giggled, his frown instantly replaced with a bright smile. He squirmed in place, trying to wriggle away from his smaller friend’s grasp. “S-Stohohohop! Hey!”
Makoto soon found he was smiling as well, and before he knew it he’d joined Nagisa’s efforts, raking his nails across Rei’s ribs. Rei squealed and arched his back, nearly losing his footing due to the slippery surface surrounding the pool. He pushed at the both of them while still giggling steadily, pink tinging his cheeks.
“Hehehehehey! Bohohohohoth of you, stohohohohop this instahahahant! This is unprohohohofessional!”
“Pfft, you think we care about being professional here?” Nagisa laughed, tickling harder. “We’re just having fun! Lighten up!”
Makoto nodded. “He’s right. We’re just helping you relax a little after practicing so hard today!”
Rei felt himself blushing as he cackled and squirmed and tried his best to escape their tickly clutches. The surprises just kept coming in the Iwatobi Swim Club.
2) Lee Haru, Ler Sousuke
“I’ve never heard you laugh before.”
Haru gave Sousuke a withering look. “I wonder why.”
“You do have a sense of humor, don’t you? You’re friends with Rin and all.”
“You realize this conversation is weird, right?” Haru frowned. “You don’t even like me. Why are you suddenly interested in whether I laugh or not?”
Sousuke quirked a brow. “Are you saying you don’t laugh? Ever?”
“Quit putting words in my mouth.”
The taller man appraised him for a moment, then poked his side experimentally. When Haru jerked away, Sousuke had his answer. He smirked. “So you do laugh.”
“No I don’t,” Haru shot back, instantly regretting his words when a spark of interest glinted in Sousuke’s eyes. “I mean – I do! But not…not when I’m…”
“You don’t laugh when you’re tickled? What do you do, then?” The dark-eyed man grabbed his waist and squeezed, fully curious now.
Haru jerked again and let out a breathy giggle, twisting and shoving at Sousuke’s shoulders. “Stohohop it! This is weheheheird!”
Sousuke winced instinctively, but he was too intrigued to stop now. “You don’t laugh? Seriously? What if I find a bad spot?”
“No! You wohohohon’t!” Haru protested, smiling wide despite himself. “I dohohohon’t lahahaugh! Ask anyohohohone!”
“Rin?”
“Yes! Rihihihihin! Ask hihihihihim! Let me go alreadyehehehe!”
Sousuke hummed, gradually letting up with a shrug. “Sure. I’ll ask him. But you know if he tells me you do actually laugh, I’m going to come back and finish this later.”
Haru shot to his feet, glaring as he backed away and then turned to leave. “You don’t even like me.”
Sousuke rolled his eyes. “Yeah, well…you tend to grow on people, don’t you, Haru?”
Haru didn’t reply, but the words made him feel slightly better about what had just happened.
*
3) Lee Rin, Ler Sousuke
“You don’t need to act so tough around me,” Sousuke reminded Rin, nudging him. “What’s really going on?”
“Wha-huh?” Rin stammered, surprised. “I’m not acting tough. I’m serious.”
“Yeah, forgive me if I don’t believe you.” Sousuke eyed Rin carefully. He’d honestly be inclined to believe nothing was wrong if not for the obvious sad look in his friend’s gaze. If it was Haru again he swore he’d kill him. “Come on, man. What’s up?”
Rin crossed his arms and leaned back against the bench with an indignant huff. “Nothing. You’re reading too much into it. I’m fine.”
Sousuke sighed heavily. “Don’t make me pull it out of you, Rin.”
“Pull what? There’s nothing to – hey!” Rin was already giggling before his friend had even done anything, the presence of wiggling fingers approaching him enough to put him on edge. “D-Don’t – there’s nothing wrong!”
“I don’t believe you.” Sousuke smirked and tickled the redhead’s ribs gently, pleased with the high-pitched laughter he got for his efforts. Rin squirmed and pushed at him, but Sousuke was nothing if not immovable. He merely kept it up and tickled harder every time Rin tried to jump out of his seat, and eventually his friend gave up trying to fight.
“Okay, okahahahahahay! I’ll tehehehehehell you!” Rin laughed, punching Sousuke’s chest. “Stohohohohohop!”
“All right, but I’m still holding onto you for insurance in case you try lying again.” The taller man chuckled at the deer-in-the-headlights look Rin gave him. “Spill it.”
“It’s just…I’m kind of…” Rin mumbled, trying to find the right words. It was difficult to focus with Sousuke’s fingers still on his ribcage. “Ugh, you’re going to think it’s stupid.”
Sousuke went back to tickling him. “Tell me.”
“Ah! Okahahahahahahay! All right, fihihihihihine, I yehehehehehelled at Nitori!”
“What?” Sousuke stopped, frowning. “Why?”
“It wasn’t his fault. He didn’t do anything. I was just in a bad mood and I snapped at him and now I feel like crap about it.” Rin sighed. “I know all I have to do is apologize, but…I’m kind of worried he won’t forgive me this time.”
Sousuke finally let him go, nudging him again. “Nitori’s a smart kid. I’m sure he knows you didn’t mean anything by it. Just go talk to him, Rin. Don’t beat yourself up over a simple misunderstanding.” He reached over and tweaked his side again, grinning when Rin yelped. “And quit pouting. It’s not like you.”
“Ack! Bahahahack off, you beast!” Rin giggled, finally getting to his feet for real this time. “I’m going to go and apologize right now. Thanks for listening, you jerk.”
Sousuke waved at him as he went. “Anytime, man.”
*
4) Lee Makoto, Ler Rin
“I wouldn’t say that with the position you’re in.”
Rin smirked at Makoto, who stood with his hands over the sink in the restroom, blue paint all over his hands from a project he’d been doing with the kids he coached. Rin had stopped by for a visit just as he was finishing up, and immediately Makoto had begun joking about how the world must be ending for the legendary Rin Matsuoka to be visiting a lowly coach like him.
“Dude,” Makoto laughed, “just turn on the tap for me, would you? I don’t want to get paint on the handles.”
Rin shrugged. “I don’t know. Should I be helping a lowly coach like you wash his hands after fraternizing with the next generation of competitors? Hmm…”
Makoto smiled, rolled his eyes, and reached for the knob with his elbow instead. “Fine, I’ll do it myself.”
Rin darted over to him in an instant, grabbing onto his sides and squeezing. “Careful! You’ll get paint all over the wall! Or worse – on your uniform!”
“Stohohohohop! Rihihihihin!” Makoto laughed, using every ounce of willpower he had not to shove him away. With his hands covered like this, the only thing he could do was stand there and let his friend tickle him. “Plehehehehehease! I’ll get pahahahahahaint all over you!”
Rin gasped dramatically, grinning at him through the mirror. “You wouldn’t dare get the great Rin covered in blue paint, would you? What kind of example would you be setting for the kids?”
Makoto clenched his fists and glued his arms to his sides as much as possible, trying to protect himself as his old friend continued being playful with him. “Rihihihihihihihin! This isn’t fahahahahair! Plehehehehease!”
“Don’t whine. It’s not becoming of a coach.” Rin chuckled, but finally let him go as requested and turned on the tap for him. “There. Wash up, buttercup.”
Makoto shakily rinsed the paint from his hands, still giggling. “You jerk. You haven’t changed at all.”
“Were you hoping I would?”
“Not in the slightest.” The brunette smiled at him through the mirror. “We need a resident tickle monster around to keep us in line.”
*
5) Lee Rin, Ler Haru
“Next time you’ll think twice before you prank me,” Haru said calmly, sitting on Rin’s back, pinning his arms above his head.
Rin struggled, but it was pointless and he knew it. Haru was stronger than he looked, and when he was determined not to let someone get off easy, no amount of physical fighting would budge him. “All right, all right, you got me. I’m sorry about the mackerel thing. Can you let me up?”
Haru was silent for a moment. Then he poked a single finger into Rin’s ribs and wiggled.
“Gahk!” Rin squawked, jerking at the surprise sensation, biting his lip to keep from giggling immediately. “Haru! D-Don’t – hey!”
“You always tickle us when we try to mess around with you,” Haru said, stoic as ever. “I think it’s only fair that we do the same in return.”
“Nohoho!” Rin huffed out a snicker, squirming helplessly even before his old friend suddenly dug in with all five fingers. “AHAHAHAHAGH!! NOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!”
“It was mean to get my hopes up like that. And after I haven’t seen you for months, too. You should know better than to tease me about something as serious as mackerel.”
“MAHAHAHACKEREL ISN’T SEHEHEHEHEHERIOUS!!” Rin protested.
Haru let go of his arms to drill all ten fingers into both sets of his friend’s ribs, pulling a loud screech of hysterical laughter out of him, followed by frantic kicking and flailing.
“OKAYOKAYOKAY I’M SOHOHOHOHOHOHORRY HARU!! I’M SOHOHOHOHORRY!!”
Rin couldn’t see it, of course, but Haru was smiling at him, enjoying pulling such pure, genuine laughter out of his friend that he hadn’t seen for what felt like forever. He kept up his relentless tickle torture, comfortably seated on the redhead’s back. “I’m sorry, too, Rin. Sorry that I’m having too much fun to stop now. I hope you didn’t have any other plans for today.”
“HAHAHAHAHAHARU!! PLEHEHEHEHEASE, I’M SORRY!! HAHAHAHAHAHARU…!!”
*
6) Lee Nagisa, Ler Haru
“I’ll tickle it out of you,” Haru said, calmly pushing Nagisa’s hands above his head before the words had a chance to register, tightening his grip when the blonde’s eyes widened and he began to squirm.
“W-Wait—”
“Tell me where it is.”
“I can’t, Haru—!”
Haru wasted no time. Thanks to it being close to swim practice, Nagisa was only in his swimsuit, leaving his exceedingly ticklish torso completely open for the taller boy’s fingers to scribble over, drawing bubbly, shrieky giggles out of him.
“Wahahahahait! Plehehehehease, I cahahahahahan’t tell you!”
“You’d better.”
“Ahahahahahahaha nohohohohohoho!” Nagisa squealed, blushing under the intense gaze of his friend but having a lot of fun at the same time. Luckily for him he loved being tickled, so he’d be able to hold out longer than anyone else would have if they’d been the ones to hide Haru’s swimsuit from him. Perhaps it seemed childish, but truly, it was the only way to keep the man from the water just long enough for Rei and Makoto to get back with their surprise.
“Tell me,” Haru demanded.
Nagisa shook his head. “Nehehehehehehever! You’ll nehehehehehever make me tahahahahalk!”
Haru quirked a brow and switched from light scribbling to digging right into his friend’s underarm – a spot he knew from experience was particularly sensitive.
Nagisa shrieked, knees wobbling as he struggled to remain on his feet, laughter exploding from his lungs. “NAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! NO FAHAHAHAHAHAHAIR, HARU!!”
“Where is it?”
“I WOHOHOHOHON’T TEHEHEHEHEHELL YOU!! R-REI AND MAHAHAKOTO—!!”
“Did they put you up to this?”
“WE AHAHAHAHAHALL DECIHIHIHIHIDED—!!”
“It was a mistake to keep me from the water.”
“PLEASE, HAHAHAHARU, LEHEHEHEHEHET ME EXPLAHAHAHAIN!!”
Haru couldn’t help but smile a little. As frustrated as he was about being kept from the pool thanks to his friend’s antics, it was truly enjoyable to make him laugh so hard. “All right, then.” He let go of Nagisa’s arms, scooped him up from behind, and tickled his ribs while his feet were dangling above the ground. “Let me hear it, Nagisa.”
The little blonde tossed his head back and squealed with giggles, determined to hold out until their friends got back.
Hopefully they wouldn’t be too much longer…
*
7) Lee Rin, Ler Sousuke
“Lot of courage for someone who’s about to get tickled,” Sousuke murmured into Rin’s ear, hugging him even harder and worming his hands under the redhead’s arms.
Rin’s eyes widened in the split second before he choked on his own giggles, trying to pull away but unable to move an inch thanks to Sousuke’s taller, stronger build. He just had to wrap his arms around his friend’s shoulders rather than around his middle!
“Ahehehahahahahaha! Sohohohouske, why?!” he squealed, squirming and giggling into his friend’s chest, feeling deep, rumbling chuckles rise up from the taller man in response to his own desperation.
“Because I can.” Sousuke sounded so nonchalant, curse him! “And because it’s about time you get a taste of your own medicine, you tickle monster.”
“Buhuhuhuhuhuhut I hahahahaven’t tickled you in forehehehehever – wait, no! No, not the RIHIHIHIHIHIBS!! GAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!”
“Actually, I’m doing this on Nitori’s behalf. The poor kid says you can’t let him go a week without tickling him near to death. Is that true?”
Nitori! Rin swore he’d get him double time after this. “I cahahahahahan’t hehehehehehelp it! He’s sohohohohoho eheheheheasy to cohohohohorner!” Rin let out an actual shriek when Sousuke suddenly darted back down to his upper ribs, still holding him in a tight hug that he couldn’t escape from. “AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA PLEHEHEHEHEASE!!”
“Easy to corner? Easy to tickle because he has no fight or flight response? Is that it?” Sousuke chuckled along with his hysterical friend. “You really are a monster.”
“COME OHOHOHOHOHON, SOHOHOHOHOUSUKE!!” Rin begged, gripping his friend’s shirt collar for lack of being able to do anything else to ease the strong sensations coursing through his body. “YOU KNOHOHOHOHOW IT’S FUHUHUHUHUN!! STOP TIHIHIHIHICKLING ME THEHEHEHEHEHERE!!”
“Why should I?” Sousuke replied, digging even harder, making Rin fall into wheezing cackles. “You just said it yourself, Matsuoka. It’s fun to tickle you like this. Especially riiiiight here.”
Rin screamed with laughter when Sousuke found that super sensitive spot right between his ribs and underarms, making his knees give out so he was dangling helplessly in his friend’s strong hold, feet scrabbling on the ground and arms flailing in the air behind his neck. “NONONONONO NOHOHOHOT THEHEHEHEHEHEHERE!! PLEASE!! PLEHEHEHEHEHEASE!! SOUSUKE!! MEHEHEHEHEHERCY!!!”
Sousuke chuckled again, holding him even tighter, refusing to be swayed by his pleas when it was obvious he was having way too much fun. This was supposed to be a punishment, after all. “No can do, Rin. I promised Nitori I’d make you sorry.”
It was several more minutes before Rin met that criteria.
*
8) Lee Makoto, Ler Rin
“Well, someone’s grouchy,” Rin said with a roll of his eyes, lunging for his friend and pushing him down on the couch, fingers finding his ribs with ease. “Let’s fix that, shall we?”
“I’m nohohohot grohohohouchyehehehehe!” Makoto protested, trying to stay serious despite the ticklish feelings lighting up his nervous system with every poke and prod from his tickle monster of a friend. “I’m juhuhuhust upsehehehehet!”
“Same thing,” Rin teased, easily straddling his friend’s kicking legs, having done this dozens of times before and knowing exactly how to get each of his friends laughing themselves silly in no time.
Makoto squealed and tossed his head back, hands flying down to try and push Rin away from his stomach. “Nohohohoho! Dohohohon’t!”
“Still got a ticklish tummy, hmm?” Rin easily found spots that were unprotected by Makoto’s hands to tickle, drawing even more growly giggles out of him. “Tickle, tickle!”
“Dohohohohon’t tehehehehehease!” Makoto cried, face turning pink from the laughing and flusteredness. “Rihihihihihin!”
“Don’t tease Rin? Aw, but I like teasing~”
“Nohohohoho, I mehehehehean—! Dohohohon’t tehehehehease me!”
Rin chuckled. “My statement still stands, I’m afraid. Oh!” He pretended to be surprised when he found Makoto’s belly button through his t-shirt. “Look! A giggle button!”
At this, Makoto finally gave up and let Rin do what he wanted, tickling and teasing and playing around until the brunette was wheezing with giggles and pleading for a reprieve. He was so lost in the haze of ticklish sensations that he couldn’t even remember why he’d been upset in the first place.
“There we go,” Rin declared at last, sitting back with a triumphant smile on his face. “No more grouchy pants.”
“I’m…juhuhuhust confused,” Makoto replied, gradually catching up to where he’d been pre-tickle attack but not so much that his mood darkened again. “He said he was on his way half an hour ago. Where—?”
At that moment Haru finally walked through the door, calm as you please, kicking his shoes off. “I’m here. Sorry, I got sidetracked by a…” He trailed off when he saw the position his friends were in. “Uh…am I interrupting?”
“No!” Makoto cried, and Rin laughed at both of their expressions, his mirth coming out in higher-pitched squeaks when his victim from moments ago decided to get revenge. “Now look what you did, Rin! You’re making us look weird!”
The both of them kept tickling each other and laughing throughout the night while Haru watched them in amused confusion from the sidelines.
*
9) Lee Rin, Ler Nitori
“Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!”
Nitori groaned. “Seriously? I haven’t gotten to ask you even one question yet! How do you keep winning?”
Rin playfully closed Nitori’s scissors with his rock and shrugged. “You’re just really bad at this.”
“How can you be bad at rock, paper, scissors?”
“You’re managing it somehow.” The redhead grinned. “Hmm, let’s see, what to ask next…?”
It was a cold, rainy day outside and the pool was closed for maintenance (apparently the heater had rather inconveniently decided to go out), so the two boys were stuck in their dorm room, bored out of their minds and desperate to kill time. They had come up with a cross between rock, paper, scissors and twenty questions, where the person who won got to ask the other something. So far, Rin had asked Nitori seven questions, with an eighth incoming.
Nitori was quickly losing his patience with this game.
“Oh! I know,” Rin said now, snapping his fingers and brightening. “Are you ticklish?”
“Wha-huh?!” Nitori stammered, giving himself away with his wide eyes even before he managed an actual reply. “I-I mean, yes, but don’t get any ideas!”
“Oh, come onnn. We’re so bored!”
“I’m not bored!”
“You’re not?”
“Nope, I’m good!” Nitori shrunk back, watching with hawk-like eyes as Rin shifted subtly and smirked at him. “Don’t you dare, Rin, I swear—!”
The redhead lunged, but thankfully, Nitori was used to dodging taller boys after he’d stopped growing a couple of years ago and kept getting jostled around by his classmates and teammates. He escaped Rin’s grabby hands, then – thinking quickly – he tackled his friend while he was in a more vulnerable position and started tickling him instead.
“Ah! Hehehehehey, wait! No fahahahahahair!”
“You’re the one who was bored enough to try and tickle me,” Nitori shot back, grinning, scrambling to climb on top of him so he couldn’t get away or fight back easily. “Why can’t I do the same? It was your idea.”
“Buhuhuhuhut I wahahahahanted to hear you lahahahahaugh – hey! Not thehehehehehere!” Rin squeaked and cackled, arching his back when Nitori got to his ribs. “Nohohohohohoho!”
The smaller boy smiled at his boisterous roommate. “Too bad. Looks like you’ll have to be the one laughing today, Rin~”
Pool break
Tumblr media
a/n: Hii everyone! So, I started watching mha and my fingers have been itching to write something for this lovely bunch of potential-filled characters haha. The idea for this fic (among others...) has been running around my thoughts for days, so I really needed to write it down. I have literally no idea if the fans are still active for this fandom or if I’m two years too late, but I greatly enjoyed writing this and I will probably write more as I get to the know the characters better. :) Enjoy haha.
My hero academia / bnha
(Lee! Midoriya, Ler! Kirishima)
summary: Class 1-A has finished the first trimester at Yuei high school and the summer break has just started. During the first week of vacation, everyone meets up at the academy’s pool to train together for the summer camp. During a break between their competitions, an encounter between Midoriya and  Kirishima leads to an accidental discovery, Kirishima then turns into a competition of his own. As always, this is a platonic fic. :)
Words: 1.7k
 ___
The sun felt warm against his skin as Midoriya flopped down on one of the pool chairs, confirming once again that their class had chosen the perfect day to do pool training on. It wasn’t until he stretched out his legs that he realized just how badly he needed the break Iida had practically forced him to take. Swimming was more straining than he’d anticipated, especially with all the small competitions the boys had held throughout the day. Not that he minded, of course. All of them had assembled during summer break because they all shared the same goal: get stronger soon.
Luckily, it also was a lot more fun to work towards that goal together. Even though they had only known each other for a couple of months, class 1-A had already developed a strong sense of belonging together. A development that Midoriya would not have thought possible based on his prior school experiences and yet found himself enjoying very much. Kacchan’s attitude still was a piece of work and it would still take him some getting used to interacting with the girls – if that was possible – but Midoriya preferred focussing on the progress instead of the problems.
Exhaling and leaning back, he took a sip of the soda Iida had handed him, watching his classmates’ happy interactions around him. Most of the girls huddled at the edge of the pool, legs dangling in the water and seemingly enjoying the day’s warmth. Kaminari and Sero had joined their little group and were currently unintentionally entertaining them by trying to get them to decide who out of the two of them – apart from the obvious front runners – had delivered the better performance during their swim race.
“Your performances were so unmemorable it’s impossible for us to decide,” Ashido announced, getting up and walking to stand behind them. “Repeat the race, will ya?” she cooed and pushed both of them back into the water.
The girls laughed as the two took the bait and started another race that wouldn’t end anytime soon, since they focussed on sabotaging each other instead of advancing. When Kaminari released a surge of power that went through the entire pool, energy cracking over the waves and nearly electrocuting both of them, Iida jumped out of his chair, almost tripping over his feet as he rushed towards them, yelling at them what idiots they were.
Attempting to stop his grin from spreading any further, Midoriya switched his attention to the other side of the pool, where Kirishima and Kacchan were currently helping themselves to more soda. For a moment, Midoriya allowed himself to marvel over the fact how much more relaxed his childhood friend looked when he was only wearing an annoyed look on his face instead of the usual scowl. It probably wasn’t apparent to anyone but him, but the big-mouthed redhead had somehow managed to gain his recognition. With some time, they might even become friends. And maybe that would open the door for more interactions with the other classmates as well.
Kacchan suddenly started yelling at Kirishima, the angry look back on his face and Midoriya sighed. Well, with some more time maybe.
Looking to his right, he found Todoroki and the rest of his classmates of the quiet fraction lounging on pool chairs like his. If one managed to ignore the incessant exclamations of rage still coming from their class representative and Kacchan, the break could almost be perceived as relaxing.
Deciding to make use of the remaining time left before their next competition started, Midoriya leaned his head back and closed his eyes for a moment. Only a couple of seconds passed before the sound of bare feet splatting across the floor approached him and a shadow fell across his face. Cracking an eye open, he found Kirishima leaning over his chair.
“Oi, Midoriya,” he said, cocking his head to the side. “You alright? You look tired, dude.”
The motion sent a couple of cold waterdrops flying from his wet hair, making Midoriya flinch as they dropped onto his sun-warmed chest.
“Nhn, just a little,” he answered, brushing the drops off. “But you’re dripping wet!”
“Ah, yeah. Bakugo threw his can and I got soda spilled all over me, so I jumped into the pool to wash it off.” He grinned suddenly. “But a problem shared is a problem halved, right?” he added, shaking his head like a dog and sending the rest of the water in his hair flying.
Midoriya couldn’t help but laugh as he threw up his arms to shield his face and chest. “HE-HEY!”
Kirishima cackled, a proud look on his face. “See, you look more awake already. You’re welcome.”
“So generous,” Midoriya said, shaking out his arms to rid himself of most of the water.
“I know, right? Here, I’ll even help you get dry again,” the redhead replied happily, wiping a hand across his stomach in an attempt to brush off the droplets he’d sent there.
Twitching back, a chuckle burst from Midoriya’s throat and his arms shot forward, quickly pushing away his classmate’s hand. For a fraction of a second, both of them froze and their gazes met.
A mischievous glint entered Kirishima’s eyes, his grin widening. “Ohhh, are you ticklish?” he cooed.
Midoriya barely had the time to react, let alone say something, before his classmate hopped onto the chair, straddling his waist. There was a brief moment of discomfort when Kirishima’s cold, wet swimming trunks touched his skin, but then ten wriggling fingers descended on his stomach, sending tingly sensations all through his nervous system and Midoriya burst out laughing.
The redhead released a dirty chuckle. “Yes, I though so! Tickle, tickle, Midoriyaaaa!”
“AHAHA, NOOOO!! KI-RI-HI-SHIMAAA!!!” Midoriya squealed, wildly squirming around. “I-HIT TI-HI-HICKLES!!!”
“Yeah, no kidding.”
“PLE-HEE-HEE-ASE DO-HO-HON’T!!” Midoriya went on, desperately trying to reach for his classmate’s wrists.
“But look how awake you are now! And so squirmy all of a sudden,” Kirishima teased.
Midoriya finally managed to get a grip on the other boy’s wrists, pushing them away and inhaling deeply when the tingly sensations vanished momentarily. His victory was short-lived though. There was a predatory smile on Kirishima’s face when he easily shook his wrists out of his prey’s grip, grabbing both of his in one hand and using his other to continue tickling his belly.
Erupting into another fit of chuckles, Midoriya trashed against the redhead’s grip, but it was no use. He was hopeless when it came to tickles, always had been. He might have had a chance had he been wearing one of his thick hoodies, but he wasn’t. And without an extra layer of protection, all that was left to do for him was laugh his head off as Kirishima’s fingers mercilessly skittered all across his bare torso.
“You’re awfully sensitive for someone with such a strong quirk,” Kirishima teased, now pinching his sides and laughing at the squeaky giggles that drew from his classmate.
“Soo cuteee!” one of the girls exclaimed in a voice almost as high-pitched as his own, receiving a round of affirmative squeals in response. Heat rushed to Midoriya’s already glowing face, but he didn’t have time to worry about his classmates witnessing his demise, not when Kirishima send those torturous fingers travelling up all the way to his underarms. His laughter adopted a desperate note, increasing in volume.
In the back of his mind, he became aware of the way his legs were kicking uselessly, but then again, the tingly feeling was growing so intense it was overpowering all other senses. Just when Midoriya thought it couldn’t possibly get any worse, Kirishima moved his hand again, going back to his lower stomach and his laughter turned silent, vanishing along with the rest of his mind.
“Right, that’s enough,” was the next thing Midoriya heard. He had no idea how much time had passed or how he’d come back in possession of his senses, but the weight at his hips suddenly lifted and the tickling finally stopped.
Wrapping his arms around himself, he cracked open an eye, looking up at Kirishima’s slightly surprised face and at Iida, who had lifted him off of him and was now holding him pressed to his chest.
“Let him breathe, you maniac,” Iida scolded, lightly hitting his outstretched hand against his head. “Midoriya, are you alright?”
“Sorry, Midoriya,” Kirishima grinned, not looking sorry at all. “I got a little carried away.”
Trying to suppress the residual chuckles that would keep coming for the next minute or so and failing miserably, Midoriya shook his head. “Fi-, fi-hi-ne,” he huffed.
Iida nodded and turned, giving him some space and taking Kirishima with him. Taking a deep breath, Midoriya rubbed at his glowing face, then slowly sat up. Looking around, he found almost the whole class staring at him, most carrying amused looks on their faces. Kaminari and Sero both grinned in a way Midoriya perceived as challenging given the circumstances, so he swallowed and quickly looked somewhere else.
His gaze briefly met Todoroki’s and he hesitated as he found his friend looking at him with an expression he couldn’t quite place. He was wearing his usual neutral face, but if Midoriya wasn’t imagining things there was a hint of confusion, maybe even curiosity in his features. His friend gave him a crooked smile and Midoriya averted his gaze, his attention briefly falling on Uraraka, whose face was red as his felt as she stared at the hands she was wringing in her lap. Not knowing how to place this discovery but feeling his own blush intensify, he quickly looked at his feet and focused on calming down.
A couple of moments later, Iida announced the start of the next race, thus coming to his rescue. Exhaling deeply, Midoriya willed the queasy feeling in his stomach away and rose. He could, however, not shake the feeling that this incident would – in one way or another – entail repercussions. But he could also worry about those when they arrived.
His classmates acted normally when he re-joined them for the next race and Midoriya felt himself relax again. There probably was nothing to worry about after all.
Laughing reflexes
a/n: Hii everyone! Here’s my second mha fic, this one has been running around my thoughts for a while. It has Lee! Todoroki, so enjoy haha.
___
My hero academia / bnha
(Lee! Todoroki, Ler! Midoriya)
summary: Midoriya and Todoroki both are up early on a Saturday morning and randomly meet at the common room. When Shoto complains about a tension in his shoulder, Izuku offers to massage him, which leads to a couple of fun discoveries. This is a platonic fic that can be placed at the beginning of s4 :)
Words: 1.8k
 ___
Midoriya slumped down on one of the couches in the common room, absent-mindedly running a hand through the mess on his head people normally referred to as hair. He managed to undo some knots, but sighed when his attempts to try to flatten some of the tufts of hair that were sticking out even more than the rest turned out to be futile. It wasn’t like anyone would see him anytime soon anyway.
The first light of dawn was barely beginning to skim the horizon and a glance at the clock hanging on a nearby wall told him that it was in fact 06:47am on a Saturday morning. No sounds could be heard other than the soft creaking of the couch’s leather as he turned onto his stomach and the huff of breath that escaped him when he did.
Stifling a yawn, he tried to remember why he had woken up so early. As far as he could tell, no loud noise had woken him and he sure could have used a couple more hours of sleep. But when he’d checked his phone half an hour earlier, the time had convinced him he still had some time to rest, but his mind would have none of that. And well, here he was.
As he began scrolling through the news on his phone, not finding anything he hadn’t read at least twice already, Midoriya wondered if he should be doing something more useful with his time. Studying maybe. Or training. Then again, he’d trained late into the previous night and the soreness in his legs and back still bore witness to that. And all of his textbooks were back in his room. Both could wait.
A couple of minutes passed in which he kept skimming more news reports when suddenly one of the doors to the common room creaked and opened. Propping himself up on his arms, he peeked over the couch’s armrest to find Todoroki quietly closing the door behind him. He was wearing sweatpants and a black t-shirt and a section of his white hair stood up at a weird angle. Midoriya couldn’t help but grin.
When his friend turned and his eyes fell on him he jumped. “Midoriya!” he huffed out.
The smile wouldn’t leave his face. “Good morning.”
Todoroki exhaled slowly, then stuffed his hands into his pockets and made his way over. “I didn’t expect anyone else to be up already,” he muttered, keeping his voice low.
“Sorry to scare you,” he replied, sitting up and crossing his legs. “Couldn’t sleep.”
“Me neither,” Shoto said, a soft groan escaping him as he rubbed his neck. “I think I pulled a muscle.”
Midoriya grimaced. “Just now?”
Todoroki shook his head. “Nah, it was probably yesterday’s training. That’s also why I didn’t sleep well.”
“I, uh. I could give you a massage if you want to,” he said quietly.
The fire and ice user’s eyebrows shot up in surprise.
“Uh, only if you’re okay with that!” Midoriya stammered. “I used to massage my mom’s shoulders a lot because she gets tense all the time too and so I know a bit about pressure points. I mean, I’m not an expert or anything and I’m definitely not as good as a physio therapist or anything, but I could try to–”
Realizing he’d began muttering again, Izuku closed his mouth, forcing himself to stop talking.
There was a hint of an amused smile on Shoto’s face. “A massage would be nice, actually. If you don’t mind.”
Midoriya smiled and gestured at the ground before him. “Not at all.”
The fire and ice user sat down in front of him, crossing his legs and straightening his back. Scooting closer to the edge of the couch, Izuku reached out, tentatively running a thumb over his friend’s left shoulder. It didn’t take him long to find a tense spot that didn’t give way beneath his finger’s pressure and he gently began massaging the area around it.
“Is this alright?” he asked.
Todoroki nodded.
Eventually, the muscles relaxed and he went on to the next spot, this one closer to his friend’s neck. This particular tension, however, could not be released as easily. Finding the spot’s centre, Midoriya gently applied pressure, holding his thumb there.
Todoroki inhaled sharply.
“Sorry! Is it too much?” Izuku asked worriedly.
“Fine!” Shoto hissed beneath his breath.
Leaning forward a little, Midoriya saw his friend clutching his knees, his knuckles going white. “You sure?”
“I can take it!”
“You’re not breathing.”
Todoroki exhaled and the muscle finally gave way, jumping sideward beneath the pressure. “Eww!” he exclaimed, turning his head and glancing at his shoulder as if he could spot what happened.
Midoriya chuckled. “You alright there?”
Todoroki shuddered, but turned back again. “That was weird. Did you feel that too?”
“Yup,” Izuku grinned, shifting his attention to his friend’s shoulder blade. “I bet there’s more where that came from.”
“I hope not.”
“How is the training for the provisional licence going?” Midoriya asked.
His friend sighed. “Alright, I think.”
“I’m sure you’ll make it.”
Todoroki snorted. “Of course. I can’t fall behind any furth- uewahh!”
Midoriya froze. His thumb had just slipped from a pressure point and he’d accidentally dug into a spot near his friend’s shoulder blade, causing his arm to twitch up. Or had that been his reaction?
Shoto had twisted around again too, trying to glance over his shoulder to see what Midoriya was doing. “What was that?”
He couldn’t help it. He pressed his thumb onto the spot again, his mouth dropping open when Todoroki’s arm twitched again. Shoto was staring at his arm dumb-folded, as if it didn’t belong to him and Izuku burst out laughing.
“Oi, what are you doing?” Todoroki asked, an involuntary smile spreading across his face when Midoriya tapped the spot for a third time, achieving the same result. “Stop that!”
“Tha-hehe, that’s ju-hu-st like that knee reflex!” Izuku laughed. “But with your a-ha-harm!”
“It’s not that funny.”
“Yes, it is,” he argued, pressing down on the spot one last time for good measure and both of them chuckled.
“Okay, that’s enough,” Todoroki said in an amused tone. “It feels really weird.”
Izuku was still giggling when he went back to easing the tension out of Shoto’s shoulder blade, inwardly smiling over this rare fun interaction. They were continuously becoming better friends as the second trimester continued, but there still wasn’t always much time to just have fun in between classes, training and the work studies some of them had just begun.
A particularly persistent knot tore Midoriya out of his thoughts and he gently placed the rest of his fingers on his friend’s ribcage for better support.
Todoroki twitched back. “Hngh!”
“Sorry!” Izuku exclaimed, convinced he’d applied too much pressure and lifting his thumb to solve the problem. “I’ll apply less pressure.”
“That wasn’t it. I, uh,” his friend began, fishing for words. “You just surprised me.”
“Well, in that case,” Midoriya mumbled, putting his hand back down and blinking when his friend twitched back again, laughing softly.
“Ha-how do you keep fi-hi-nding those reflex points?” he chuckled.
Understanding suddenly dawned on Izuku and he grinned. “Reflex points?” he repeated teasingly, poking both his friend’s sides.
A laugh burst from Todoroki’s throat, his arms shooting to his sides as he fell back against the couch. He angled his head up to meet his friend’s gaze. “I didn’t know there were laughing reflexes.”
Midoriya blinked, too stunned to answer. Was he joking? No, he’d sounded serious. And Todoroki hardly ever made any jokes. At least not intentionally. But that meant… He couldn’t help it, he burst out laughing. “Wha-haha-t did yo-hou just call it?”
Shoto blinked. “Laughing reflexes…?” he repeated, sounding uncertain this time.
Even though he felt a little guilty, Izuku laughed harder.
“But… You poked me and I laughed,” he muttered, blushing slightly.
“Wa-ha-hait,” Midoriya chuckled, forcing him to calm down. “You’re serious. Have you never been tickled before?”
His friend blinked. “Uhh. No. I mean, I’ve heard about it, but I didn’t… Oh.”
“Well, I’m happy to inform you that you seem to be ticklish then.”
Todoroki nodded contemplatively, sitting back up. “Can you do it again?”
Izuku’s grin widened. “You’re asking me to tickle you?”
The other boy nodded firmly. “I’m curious.”
“Don’t mind if I do,” Midoriya hummed, leaning forward and restarting to squeeze his sides.
There was a sharp intake of breath and Shoto tensed up, obviously trying to fight the urge to laugh, but it didn’t take long for him to start trembling with held-back laughter. Izuku watched him struggle for a couple more seconds, then moved his hands toward his belly and that did the trick. Dissolving into a fit of chuckles, Todoroki tumbled backwards again, hugging his arms around his middle to protect himself. His laughter increased in volume when his friend found a way around his arms, proceeding to lightly scratch at his waist.
“Noo-hoo-hoo, waa-he-hait!” he laughed, pushing his elbow down in an attempt to cover his sides. “I ca-han’t contro-hol it a-he-nymo-ho-re!”
Midoriya snickered. “That kinda is the point. Tell me to stop if you want me to,” he teased.
When his friend kept chuckling instead of replying, he used his right hand to take hold of his left wrist, lifting it away to gain access to his stomach. When Izuku began skittering his fingers across his belly, Shoto’s laugh went up an octave, adopting a more hysterical note.
As Todoroki kept trying to reach for his hand, he began sliding down until he lay flat on his back.
Midoriya couldn’t keep himself from laughing along as he watched his friend roll from side to side as he tried to escape.
“Ahahaha, NOO!!” the fire and ice user squealed. “DO-HO-HON’T!!”
“Don’t what?” Izuku asked sweetly.
Shoto’s legs kicked out when his friend’s hand brushed past his navel. “I do-ho-hon’t kno-ho-how!”
Midoriya laughed and wriggled his fingers against his friend’s lower stomach. Todoroki howled with laughter, curling up on his side and kicking his feet. “OKA-HE-HEY, STA-HAHA!!! STA-HA-HAP!”
Not quite willing to cease his playful attack just yet, Izuku kept clawing at his classmate’s skin for a few more seconds, only stopping when the latter one went into silent laughter.
He watched with a content smile as Todoroki began rubbing at his stomach, the occasional residual giggle escaping his lips. “You alright?” Midoriya asked.
His friend nodded. “But you didn’t stop right away. You hehe, you said to tell you to stop if I wanted you to.”
He chuckled. “Sorry, I was having too much fun. Did you want me to stop though?”
Todoroki hesitated. “I… I don’t know. I was having fun too.”
“Good,” Midoriya grinned. “Cause I sure will test those laughing reflexes again.”
Shoto laughed softly. “Not if I test yours first. Kirishima got you good the other day at the pool, didn’t he? Looked like you were ticklish too.”
Midoriya froze at the smile in his friend’s voice, then snorted out a laugh. “Well, so are you. I’ll be fine if I get you first.”
“We’ll see about that.”
