Ok now that we know we’ll be seeing Tommy again after 7.06 I’m thinking about what Oliver said in this Hello article again
This was pre 7.04 so they’re saying friendship, but if he’s talking about his relationship with Tommy pleeeeease tell me we’re going to get a little bit of Buck being all moony eyed over not getting to constantly hang out with Tommy during 7.07 and 7.08 because that’s adorable
ok, but: i don‘t think we‘ve ever seen Buck being sick? like not deathly lightning strike or almost lost his leg sick, just the type of 5 days common cold that makes Bobby roll his eyes when Buck, sniveling and definitely running a fever, comes in to work anyway. the type of sick that makes Bobby send him home, because „come on, Buck, you can barely breathe through your nose, much less carry someone out of a building. i‘m not taking you along on any calls, and you‘re not going to infect half the station. go home, sleep it off, see you next week.“
so Buck does go home and crawl into bed to sleep for the next couple hours, and when he wakes up it‘s to the sound and scent of Tommy pottering around in his kitchen. and Buck is all „hey, what are you doing here? it‘s ok, i‘m not dying“ and Tommy just rolls his eyes too and goes „Evan“ in the softest way, and then tells him „you should have called. i‘m your boyfriend, i‘m going to take care of you“ and Buck still feels a little bad about it because he doesn’t want to be a burden, especially when it‘s not even that bad like being dead for 3 minutes 17 seconds. and Tommy stays and makes sure Buck is comfortable and that he deserves being taken care of and loved no matter what’s going on, that that isn’t just a reward for the stupid crazy shit he does to rescue others.

Summary:
“Hey there, stunner,” Tommy murmured against his mouth once they’d pulled away.
“Stunner?” Evan asked, smile bunching up his cheeks. “That’s a new one.”
“Mhmm,” Tommy said, pressing a kiss to one of those lovely red cheeks. “You like it?”
Evan ducked his head, “Yeah, that one’s uh. That’s pretty good.” His eyes cut back to Tommy and his mouth twisted into a thoughtful moue. “I don’t really have any for you.”
He lifted his head and asked, "Would you care to meet a few of my neighbors?" "I would be delighted," she said as if they were at afternoon tea.
Lucy Gray gave the spectators a a big smile, seemingly pleased to be there, but as he led her to the bars he could feel her fingers clenching his like a vise.

oliver AND ryan have both called out toxic fan behavior toward the actresses who have played their love interests AND oliver's mentioned that lou (at the very least) has seen some vitriol and yet people don't stop and think "maybe abusing these guys' coworkers/friends is NOT the path to getting the storyline i want" but what do i know
the amount of BoBs SCREAMING and CRYING in the quotes is hilarious I- every day they fuel my disdain for buddie becoming canon.
the way they think it's okay to go after lou too like HUH?
