I am looking at R U Next and the fact they have the f*cking gall to put a preteen in there says something about the industry.
12-14 year olds should not be devoting themselves to stardom. Once they're emancipated, sure why not, but parents should NOT be pushing that onto their children.

Look this might be because I have a wild fantasy booking idea that I have kept in the vault to keep the mutuals with me, but uh...
Luchasaurus winning tonight, Christian beating Orange Cassidy, and then Jack beating Hook for the FTW Championship would be a wonderful way to form Coalition 2.0. That'd be lovely.
It'd also be funny seeing Jack parade the one title in AEW that technically means nothing.

Firstly, the term pillars is getting eradicated. We're keeping that to AJPW when it was used to describe those who had the years and were surefire the best representatives of the company.
If we're talking in the AEW sense of "people who I'd make sure were on top within the next 5 years of the company", well we got :
MJF, obvious, but we'd need more development in his character. Feels stale.
Ricky Starks, has the charisma, needs more time to actually be showcased and get some real time out there.
Will Hobbs, same thing with Ricky, he's also just been booked like garbage.
RUSH. Yo, the man is essentially Gaston, wild as hell, love what he does.
Jamie Hayter, of course. Hope she recovers well.
Kris Statlander, happy to see her back, I really hope she has a good run.
Willow Nightingale, pure, natural babyface. It's rare to see that these days. She's so likable.
Athena... I wish she was showcased more on the actual shows and not just ROH.

In partial defense of QT, he knows his role very well and has the charisma to pull it off. That being said, he's also been put with some of the worst stuff AEW has run/made, so yeah, people are going to look at QT and say "why the f*ck is it this guy".
That being said, I still don't agree with QT of all people being his manager, mostly because he's mainly been the manager to the Factory, who have mainly been on Dark ever since their formation. Quite a jump from that to TNT Champion Hobbs.
the fuck is QT doing here- ... they had such a charismatic great duo with Hobbs and Ricky and now we got Hobbs winning thx to QT, champ Hobbs but at what cost 😔

I always feel like I'm better off not posting any of my long explanations on why I don't like certain things in wrestling because of the risk of it turning into a massive hate post.
That being said, god I'm not a fan of the Toni/Saraya pairing. Toni being turned heel put a damper on some of her potential as a naturally likable face, while Saraya's push in spite of her current abilities on the ring or mic just does the exact opposite and not in a "it's fun to hate you" kind of way. Plus, her actively endorsing Falling In Reverse (who's lead singer has assault charges and took part in a fight that led to an 18 year old's death) just gives me no reason to support her either.

Just wanna say this cuz I agree with it. He's ultimately a grown man and human being. He's shown himself to be very mature and able to take criticism, and his character is also very endearing. That being said, even if I also rib around with the babygirl thing, I don't like the infantilization of certain wrestlers with a seemingly pure, "innocent" character because God knows for a chunk of them it does not reflect real life.
Ok I'll make my own post cause I think it's important.
I think a lot of the babygirling around Takeshita is in association with the cinnabon thing. At least that's why I do it. But I have seen a lot of people genuinely talking about him like he's a stupid child. He's a grown ass man (older than me in fact), and he actually comes off as a very mature guy. If he comes off a little naive at times it's most likely because he just moved to an entirely new country, new company, everything, of course there's going to be a learning curve.
And the fact that people infantile him like that while also sexualizing him is so weird and uncomfortable??? I know this is a problem with western culture's reactions to Asian men in general (this is why I stay far far away from kpop), but you really don't see how that's a little ick?
I'm just rambling but there really is something about it that bugs me. especially because I do like Takeshita, and I think he's cute. I also think he's a very good and talented wrestler, and a very mature adult man.
(I'm not wording it as good as that other post but I really wanted it on my blog)
