Reblog the fundraisers you mfs!!!!! I don't know why you all skip those to reblog some pic of a banner saying "FREE PALESTINE" or of news from Columbia University! Literally these people from Gaza have made an account on Tumblr and is writing in english to communicate what they need and you all are coming onto my blog or on the tag and not reblogging their posts. We have people both Palestinian and non Palestinian vetting the fundraisers! I mean more the reblogs, more the chance of the fundraisers gaining momemtum, the more there would be a chance of a donation. Please donate if you can and reblog!!! and follow them if it is possible.

@/mohammedayesh has posted about getting leaflets, telling them to evacuate Rafah. They are very low on funds. Go follow them and reblog their posts and donate if possible.

We have @/haneenatya too whose mother is suffering from eye stroke and need to evacuate. Please I have been following them for some days and it doesn't seem their own posts are getting much attention.

(EDIT: on re-reading my post it seems as if I am dismissing all that the students of universities are doing. I am not. I just meant, since all of it is to help Palestinians, we must not ignore them when they ask for help).

Let me start by saying that I have absolutely no hope (considering the shit SNW has already done to snuff out any queerness so far) that Spirk will ever be canon under the current showrunners. I've lived in Fandom for most of my life now, and I have a pretty good head for when stuff will not go the way I hope. THAT BEING SAID! If I want to read into this scene? (And read into it way beyond probably anyone in charge has bothered to research?) Jim Kirk is a smart boy! He wants to be a Captain. He knows TONS about etiquette in regards to every federation race. He knows at the very least that Vulcan's would prefer not to shake hands. That is what the ta'al is for! And I'm happy to be corrected, but I don't think that we've seen Spock shake many hands in SNW? So it is weird, first of all, that Jim even offers his hand bc he definitely knows that it is probably a faux pas among Vulcans. So why did he do it? I feel like for the showrunners, it's just how Jim is. That masculine, nohomo, gotta shake hands out of respect bullshit or whatever. For my shipper brain? He does it because he's genuinely enamored as soon as he hears Spock's voice. Watch how he looks at him! He stares for way longer than necessary before standing up to greet Spock. So my Spirk brain reads this as Jim is so taken that he doesn't even really think before he's offering his hand. It's just a knee-jerk reaction as Nyota introduces them. And as for Spock? He's used to humans. He's used to having to touch or be touched. Of course, he knows he can refuse or politely decline, and I'm absolutely sure that he has in the past, but in this moment? He sees the hand and chooses to take it. Maybe he's intrigued? A Kirk that isn't the bane of his existence? Very interesting! And so yeah, maybe he thinks, "I'd like to get a little peek into this guy's head! He's offering!" And that quick brush of their minds is not life-changing, not yet! But it's so... different. Fascinating, one would say. Maybe even a little thrilling bc, as we all know, Vulcan's hands are sensitive. I love the idea of Nyota having this as shit talking material when they're her captain and First Officer, bc you know Bones will die when he finds out this is how they first met. "Your first kiss was seconds after meeting, Jimmy? Why am I not surprised!" Anyway, their first meeting being something so simple makes me happy. Also, cant ignore the fact that Spock was probably coming over in the first place bc he wanted to introduce himself which is lowley a very cute thought. I just wish the rest of the show wasn't fucking with the canon so thoroughly.
