After debating this for several months, kahixo will be archived and remade at a later date.
Don't know how many people will see this but I'm finally pulling the plug on this account. I just haven't been interested in being here and I want to spend more time on other activies.
I feel like my writing has stagnated as well, so the best option is to remake Mika and other original characters in a new blog! Thanks to everyone that's been with me for almost four years. I'll still write on @shisui-vchiha and other platforms so feel free to contact me there for anything.

please respect the right of refusal.
one thing I believe should be more heavily influenced in the roleplay community ( that really isn’t respected ) is the RIGHT OF REFUSAL. not everyone has to say yes to a roleplay, even if you delivered sugar-coated candied comments abt their portrayal / characterization / etc. if you give those things, it should be from your HEART, and not because you are attempting to ENTICE them into writing with you.
with refusal comes MAJOR ANXIETY – most writers don’t feel comfortable saying that they don’t want to write with someone, and it is because they want to avoid hurting their feelings. believe it or not, there are KIND ways of telling someone you don’t have an interest in writing with them – and those ways should be respected. do not make someone FEEL BAD for not wanting to write with you; and do not FORCE them to tell you their reasoning. as long as they are kind, you should respect their decision and not be rude towards them.
please respect the right of refusal.

"Mika, do you- think this was a good idea?" Her thighs are starting to hurt as she keeps herself up on the pole. The cat seeming to circle the tree of sorts, waiting for it's prey to slide down to attack. So there she was, much more of a dog person than ever before. Their must of been something about her to keep the cats attention, but right now she just wants down so she can crawl to the closest chair to finally sit.
“Hell yeah it’s a good idea!” Mika has gotten membership up by 15% after someone posted a now viral facebook video. They gleefully watch Wy struggle for another ten seconds before going to pick the kitten up. It mewls and squirms to get free. “I think it likes you.”

Now he is curious what they wish to get from this procedure, hormones can be tricky things, they control every part of any creature. Setting in to motion most bodily functions.
“You’re aware that there are always complications with these procedures yes? And that you have to be constantly assisting the hormonal changes you wish to promote.”
Mika feels a ball of tension as Orochimaru assesses them. They have a good idea of what they want and how to achieve it, there’s a patchwork of information they’ve gathered from the internet and they’re at least smart enough to not blindly believe everything there. “Complications?” It makes sense? Messing with one’s natural hormones can invite something unwanted...
“I can’t say I’m fully aware. I just...it’s something I’m really wanting to explore.” For a long time Mika hasn’t had a choice, it’s at least worth looking into.

My therapist suggested replacing “is there anything I can do” with “what do you need” when comforting someone as the first kind of assumes you as part of the equation in helping someone which isn’t always helpful. It also kind of pressures the person suffering to kind of come up with something FOR you to do. Like I get so frustrated with that first question as a person who gets it a lot.
The second not only takes the pressure off but also might help the person really consider what their actual needs are like hey I haven’t eaten, maybe that’s a reason I feel crappy. It kinda takes the asker out of the immediate picture so the person struggling can focus on what they actually need, and then if you CAN help, you can offer it.
We’ll see if this works better!

The choice of words brings a smile to the serpents lips, although there is a moment of questioning with the others almost flustered expression. Not quite shyness, not quite embarrassment… so what had spun that reaction from the visitor? He’ll muse over it another time, for now he simply gestures they come in.
For speaking about outside the system medical operations can quickly divert in to illegal ones.
“You’ve captured my curiosity,” he admits, leading them further down the hall to escape the eyes of potential parole. “what medical help do you need exactly?”
Mika shakes off the weird feeling of “oh no he’s kind of hot” and follows Orochimaru inside. Sure it’s a little risky just entering a snake’s den but desperation makes people do wild things. They shiver at the cool air, careful to stay near Orochimaru lest they get lost in the halls.
“Well, it’s nothing really invasive--” this place has creep vibes coming off in waves, “I’m just looking for hormone therapy...” Mika heard about the procedure, which has garnered its fair share of controversy. “Would you know what I’m talking about?”

Sasuke leans back in his seat, lifting his gaze from his laptop. “My brother isn’t home,” he says without missing a beat. Then he sits straight again and picks up the document beside him. Sometimes he hates research. “You guys done anything for the wedding?”
“I figured.” He’s still busy despite promising to make more time for planning. Mika tries to not look so put off, fussing with their engagement band. “We hired a planner to deal with some of the details. Itachi asked Shisui to be his Best Man, I’m having Kali be my Maid of Honor.” They let out a breath, this wedding stuff is actually more difficult than they realized.

I’ve been seeing this a lot lately and I understand if people get miffed about it. I would be too. And I think it’s a good call to try and interact with folks by calling attention to it.

I’m just rlly bad at making the first move.
Follower count doesn’t mean squat to me since I know that it usually ends up being like, dead blogs I’ll never see again. So yeah.
This is a post where I’m encouraging you, the reader, to make the first move. Just try and talk to the people you follow, even if you don’t think they’d be interested in rping ( provided you follow their rules on contact, mutuals, ect ). Maybe they wanna rp? Maybe they don’t. Your chances can only increase if you come with an idea to bring to the table, so just try it!
Maybe a friendship will happen, maybe it won’t. But at the VERY LEAST you can say you tried.

Honestly “queer” is so useful for people like me w/ a “complicated orientation” b/c instead of having to say I’m “asexual panromantic” and explain what that means, I can just say “I’m queer” and it tells you all you need to know (that I’m not straight).
