âYouâre staring again,â your best friend whispered lowly, gently tugging at your uniform sleeve to get your attention. âSorry,â you murmured, drawing your disheartened gaze back to the girl beside you. âWhatâs up with you today?â Chaewon questioned handing over your water bottle. Your eyes naturally drifted back to your girlfriend who stood on the far side of the school gymnasium while contemplating the inquiry. âItâs nothing,â you brushed off her concern upon meeting Yunjinâs blank stare, swiftly spinning around in hopes of avoiding her gaze. âYouâre lying,â Chaewon noted, eyes narrowing when you flashed her a smile that didnât quite reach your eyes.
âJust tired,â was all you uttered, breathing a sigh of relief when the coach blew her whistle, resuming practice. Moving through the motions of the drill proved to be difficult for your scattered brain to carry out, body moving clumsily with a mind of its own. âY/n!â The coach yelled out in warning when you collided with another teammate. Your eyes widened when you glanced up to find a familiar head of orange hair and two strong hands steadying you by the waist. âYou okay?â Yunjin asked, tone laced with a worry that brought all your emotions bubbling to the surface. âIâm fine,â you grit your teeth, the words coming out far harsher than youâd intended.
âY/n..â Yunjin trailed off, grip on your waist tightening and brows furrowing when you glared up at her. âI said Iâm fine!â You exclaimed in exasperation, shoving her hands off you as though her touch burned. âSorry,â your girlfriend mumbled dejectedly, backing away with sagged shoulders. You forced yourself to look away despite the pang of guilt that struck your heart. âTake a minute to cool off,â your coach ordered upon observing the interaction, sending to the bench as she began organising teams of three for practice games. Your leg bounced up and down, gaze finding the floor in an attempt to rid your mind of your girlfriend. Though the harder you thought, the faster your mind wandered back to last night's argument.
Lifting your head in hopes of losing yourself in the game, you quickly found yourself growing distracted by Yunjin yet again. Only this time she engaged in a hushed conversation with your coach, the two occasionally sparing glances your way. Your eyes narrowed in suspicion when Yunjin turned away from the coach with an appreciative smile before making her towards you. A scowl crept onto your lips when she silently took up the seat next to you, hand casually landing on your knee, halting its anxious bouncing. Clenching your jaw, you angrily smacked her hand away, making a show of shifting away from her on the small bench.Â
âJesus fuck Y/n, what is your problem?â Yunjin finally broke, sick of you blatantly ignoring her. âYou at the moment,â you snarled, arms crossed over your chest. âFucks sake, how many times do I have to apologise? It was one stupid argument.â She questioned incredulously, tongue poking the inside of her cheek as she ran a hand through her orange hair in frustration. âIt wasnât stupid to me,â you seethed, abruptly rising from the bench and storming away from her. Yunjin rolled her eyes at your flare for dramatics, following closely after you as you charged towards your coach with purpose. Your girlfriend arriving just in time to hear the tail end of the conversation.Â
âSub me in too,â Yunjin requested upon overhearing your desire to play. You huffed in annoyance but didnât protest when the coach blew the whistle and tossed a jersey in your direction. âJoin Chaewonâs team,â the coach instructed, sending Yunjin to the opposing team much to your relief and Yunjin's dismay. âYou good now?â Chaewon questioned when you reached her side. âLetâs just play,â you grumbled, eyes fixed on Yunjin who stared at you with a look of determination plastered on her features. Your best friend only shook her head as she glanced between the two of you in amusement.
You sprang into action as soon as the whistle blew, knowing your girlfriend was bound to target you with one of her famous jump serves. You received the ball with little to no difficulties, satisfaction growing as you caught a glimpse of Yunjinâs eye twitching in anger. Chaewon set the ball to your eager junior Eunchae who spiked it into the polished wooden floor without trouble. Smiling widely, you gave the younger a cheerful high-five. Yunjin watched you through the net, feeling herself melt at the sight of your beaming grin. Her determination to win quickly snapped her out of the momentary daze, but her lips still curled into the faintest of smiles as her eyes lingered on you.
Rotating your marks on the coaches orders you found yourself standing directly in front of the girl youâd spent your day avoiding. Swallowing the bitter taste that clung to your tongue at the sight of her irritating smirk you pushed yourself to focus on the game, not the player. Eunchae served this time, the ball flying right towards your senior Sakura. The eldest of the team received it easily, the ball reaching the peak of its arc before gracefully descending into Kazuhaâs awaiting fingertips. Your eyes followed Yunjin closely as she leaped into the air when the ball left Kazuhaâs hands. Following suit, you jumped with your arms raised, wincing when the ball collided with your palm.
Yunjin scowled when she landed, the echo of the ball landing on her team's side mocking her. You narrowed your eyes at your girlfriend, feeling your undoubtedly red palm stinging from the impact. Tension lingers between the two of you as Yunjinâs glares back at you through the net. She only spared a concerned glance at your hand when you turned away to celebrate another point ahead with your teammates. âWeâll get the next one,â Sakura comforted your girlfriend with a pat on the shoulder. Yunjin grit her teeth in determination, she swore she wouldnât let you block another one of her spikes. âGive me the next one,â she instructed, receiving a nod of confirmation from Kazuha.
Sakura started the round off with a jump float serve Eunchae clumsily dived to receive, gliding across the hardwood floor. Chaewon rushed to dig the ball which flew over the net, a free ball for your opponents. A sense of dĂ©jĂ vu overcame you as Sakura recreated her perfect pass to Kazuha. Yunjin began her run up, surging into the air by the time the ball left Kazuhaâs fingertips. Similarly to last time, you jumped with your hands raised, only this time your girlfriend spiked the ball with far more force than she had previously. Yunjin had decided that if she couldnât get the ball past you she would have to go through you.
A shriek escaped your lips as the ball clipped your fingertips, knocking them backwards forcefully. You collapsed upon landing, an overwhelming pain surging through you as you cradled your hand. Yunjinâs eyes widened as she hurriedly ducked under the net, kneeling by your side in an instant. âFuck Y/n, Iâm so sorry. Are you okay?â She bombarded you with questions upon reaching your side, placing a hesitant hand on your shoulder. Her previous irritation dissipated the second you glanced up at her with tear filled eyes. Still angry, your weak attempt to shift away from her resulted in groan escaping your lips as your aching fingers caught the fabric of your shirt.
Yunjinâs forehead creased in a deep frown as she peered down at you. Not only were you crying because of her rash actions, but you were also hurting yourself trying to avoid her. âWeâll talk later, just let me help you right now.â Yunjin proposed, reaching out to swipe away the stray tear that rolled down your flushed cheek with her thumb. The sincere worry swirling in her chocolate brown orbs prompted a hesitant nod of agreement from you. âThe two of you better not be arguing by the time you get back from the nurses office,â Chaewon threatened before giving the two some space.
âCan you walk?â Your girlfriend asked, offering you her hand after rising to her feet. âI didnât break my leg, did I?â You retorted snarkily, Yunjin merely raising her brows at your comment. âSorry,â you winced regretfully, grasping her hand with your uninjured one and allowing her to pull you from the floor. Your girlfriendâs gaze remained on your rapidly swelling fingers as she escorted you out of the gymnasium, overcome by her guilt. âIâm really sorry baby, I never meant to-â âI know,â You cut Yunjinâs apology off, flashing her a tired smile that didnât quite reach your eyes. It was only then that Yunjin took the time to properly take in your appearance for the first time since your argument.
âYou didnât sleep last night,â Yunjin observed, brows furrowed in concern. âHow was I supposed to after what happened?â You asked, your girlfriend pursing her lips pensively. âIâm sorry for that too, I shouldâve apologised sooner.â She mumbled, giving your hand a regretful squeeze. âItâs fine, Yunjin.â You brushed her off, putting aside your anger in favour of forgiveness. âNo itâs not. Just because I didnât like how touchy that guy was being doesnât mean I should take my anger out on you.â She uttered, pausing in the corridor so she could face you. âIâm sorry too, I overreacted and blew things out of proportion.â You followed her apology with one of your own.
âI just wish you would trust that I can handle things on my own,â you expressed with a pout. Yunjin was quick to release your hand in favour of cupping your cheeks with a gentle firmness. âI do trust you baby, I trust you with my whole heart. Itâs other people I worry about,â your girlfriend explained hoping youâd understand. âI know, and I appreciate you trying to protect me all the time.â You smiled gratefully, heart swelling with warmth as she gazed into your eyes. âHow about we try and talk things out next time? I don't know about you, but I'd prefer that to yelling and ignoring each other.â You proposed, receiving Yunjinâs eager agreement in the form of a peck on the lips.
âHey, you were the one who ignored me!â Yunjin accused, eyes narrowed playfully. âAnd look where it got me,â you huffed, raising your injured hand into her line of sight. âShit, I forgot about that.â Your girlfriend gasped, pressing an apologetic kiss to your cheek. âGive me a proper kiss,â you demanded with a pout. âOnly because I feel bad,â Yunjin murmured before her lips brushed against your own, lingering for a sweet moment. âYou sure thatâs the only reason?â You questioned when she pulled away. She hummed sheepishly, a blush dusting her cheeks. âLetâs get you to a nurse!â She abruptly exclaimed, rushing off through the corridors in hopes of concealing her flushed state.
She only realised sheâd forgotten to bring the very person who needed a nurse in the first place upon arriving at her destination.

THE SHRIEK I LET OUT-
3:35 | aespa karina
pairing:Â karina x gn!readerÂ
genre:Â angst
word count:Â 0.5kÂ
warnings:Â descriptions of blood, violence, murder â please donât read if you are uncomfortable !
a/n:Â drama mv has me inspired :D
The katana arched through the air, striking true.Â
Their throat was sliced clean open, blood spurted out as the man crumpled to the floor. Karina had already moved on. Â
You had to clasp both palms over your mouth to stop yourself from letting out a scream and giving yourself away from your hiding spot. The pain of your cheeks being crushed into your teeth was the only thing grounding you. The action was stopping you from breathing. You wanted to take in large breaths of air, anything to alleviate the crushing weight in your chest, but you feared if you even tried to inhale, theyâd find you.Â
Perhaps you should have moved, bolted out from the bar when you had the chance. However, youâd lost all control over your legs, completely useless sprawled underneath you while you stayed covered beside the entrance to the bar. even crawling away to hide the bar proved to be difficult in your state, you were trembling far too much.Â
The sound of glass shattering brought you out of your thoughts. Instinctively, your hands wrapped around your head as a whimper escaped your lips. Tears streamed freely down your face as you began to question every decision that led to this moment, how could you have been so naive?
You must look so stupid.Â
The two of you couldnât be more opposed. While you were a blubbering, incoherent mess, Karina seemed far removed from the fight she was winning.Â
Every slow step she took was one taken with confidence. Her wide steps and straight posture emanated strength as she swung her blade around with unbelievable ease. Every attack was a point to her name, and none of her moves were wasted. Watching her fight was akin to watching the climax of a performance, it was difficult to look away. She didnât even blink when droplets of blood landed on her face.
Instead, she turned around and drove her blade clean through someone's stomach before dragging it out. This time, you couldnât stop the scream that left you.Â
Karinaâs gaze moved to you, slow and steady. Her eyes were half-lidded, completely vacant. Emotionless.Â
When an attacker changed trajectory and made a move towards you, Karina was quick to stop them. You hadnât even seen how it happened, couldnât make any sense of it. One moment they were both standing. The next, the assailant was lying on their back at your feet, their blank stare looking up at you while she wrenched her sword out of their chest. Warm blood splattered across your face and your sobs returned.Â
Karina observed you. As if to catch your reaction to the show she was performing, made just for you.Â
Pressing her thumb and forefinger to the blade, she wiped the blood and let it splatter to the floor. She moved forward, her steps just as slow as when she was fighting before bringing a knee down in front of you.
From where you were crouched, it seemed as if she absorbed what little light there was in this bar. She cast a shadow as she clicked her tongue. That caught your attention, you looked up at her only to find her surveilling the room around her.Â
With a roll of her eyes, she looked back at you.Â
There was a glint in her eyes, the first real display of emotion from her during this night.Â
âNow say it,â she said. âDo you still love me?âÂ
any feedback is much appreciated.

a/n ; hehe happy november and i didnt proof read this
âaeri! no! you canât do this to me!â you exclaimed as the older girl dragged you towards the cafĂ©. the both of you were getting stares from people in the area, but all you cared about was not seeing irene and all aeri cared about was seeing jimin.Â
ây/n, no take backs. you said youâd do this with me.â she replied, nonchalantly. âyeah, that was before i found out i was gonna see irene. unnie, think about me, please.â aeri rolled her eyes at you, shaking her head. âyouâre so dramatic.âÂ
she had successfully dragged you in front of the cafĂ©, stopping. she stared at you like you were an idiot before shoving you, âgo!â you whined as you entered the cafĂ©, the door chiming in the process. your eyes anxiously darted across the whole cafĂ©, looking for the people you were hoping to avoid. just as you were about to breathe in relief, you saw her face - ireneâs face. she was sitting on the same side as jennie, nayeon and yeri, the other three sitting away from you. irene laughed at something wendy said, looking up nonchalantly and freezing when she saw you. yeri followed along, wondering where ireneâs eyes had travelled to. her eyes widened when she saw you and felt herself tense up. she turned to irene and back to you, distress clearly written on her face. you looked away quickly, turning to aeri who was looking for someone else. âdamn, sheâs not here yet.â
âbro, i hate you so fucking much right now. irene unnie and i just made eye contact.â that seemed to catch aeriâs attention as she finally faced you. âoh, shit.. no, she didnât. pretend she didnât. come on.â she dragged you away to order, but ireneâs eyes hadnât let your figure. yeri nudged the older girl, finally causing her to look away.Â
you and aeri had finished ordering and stood around waiting for your orders. nayeon looked up at the sudden movement from the corner of her eye and lit up at the two of you. âhey, isnât that y/n and aeri?â
immediately, everyone's heads turned towards the both of you - freezing once you realised they had seen you. irene cursed under her breath as her friends called out for you .Â
âoh my god! y/n! aeri!â joy cheered. âcome here, come here!âÂ
you smiled awkwardly as you held onto aeriâs arm and walked towards the group. âuh, hi, unnies.â you greeted sheepishly, aeri repeating your words. âoh my god, y/n. finally, in the flesh!â jennie politely said, throwing you a smile. âyou too, unnies. itâs great to finally meet you guys. iâm a huge fan.â
âsit, sit!â they insisted, moving in to make space for the both of you. you ended up sitting next to nayeon, with aeri opposite you, sitting next to wendy.Â
âyour posts donât do you justice, y/n.â nayeon slyly commented, taking a sip from her drink. you smiled sheepishly, failing to hide the flustered look on your face. âthank you, unnie. you, too.â you awkwardly replied, completely missing the way ireneâs eye twitched. you looked up to see irene staring intently at you, feeling frozen under her gaze. ânayeon unnie, be careful - y/nâs girlfriend is sitting right in front of her.â yeri instigated, causing the both of you to quickly turn to her with a look of shock. she grinned in response, as the reactions of the other girls started to kick in.Â
âwait, what?â wendy asked, clearly confused. âaeri, you- youâre dating y/n?â
âi- uh,â she began, not knowing how to explain it to them without embarrassing herself. âwell, not ex-â with that, the cafĂ©âs front door chimed, drawing everyoneâs attention. you looked up to see karina who politely greeted the cashier and looked around to find her usual seat. you kicked aeri under the table causing her to stop and look back. the both of you immediately stood up and excused yourselves.Â
âweâre so sorry, unnies. weâd love to catch up another day! itâs just we have to meet a friend right now, but it was really nice seeing you all!â she grabbed your hand and laced her fingers through yours, turning the other way and walking towards karina. âfuck my life, letâs just get this over with.â
you and giselle pretend to nonchalantly walk towards the counter to collect your orders, catching the attention of the korean girl. âoh, gigi!..â she took a second to glance at you, the smile slightly dropping from her face. â..and y/n. um, good to see you! what are you two doing here?âÂ
âoh! hi, rina! i was just taking y/n/n out on a date since sheâs been so stressed with volleyball lately, isnât that right, babe?âÂ
âi- uh, yeah. ririâs so thoughtful, iâve been exhausted all week but iâm always looking forward to spending more time with her.â you replied, throwing her a smile which karina returned bitterly. âha.. right. well.. i hope you guys have a good one!âÂ
âyou, too! it was nice seeing you!â you grabbed your drinks and left the cafĂ© eagerly. once you were finally out of sight, you dropped her hand, shoving her as hard as you could. âwhat the fuck, unnie! that couldnât have gone any worse!â
âstop, stop, i know. did you see her? rina didnât even give a shit-â
you scoffed at her, not believing how thatâs her only concern. âdonât be stupid, she was jealous. she was so evidently jealous, itâs working, unnie. but my problem is seeing the person i emphasised i didnât want to see. i told you i didnât want to and you didnât give a shit. sure, call me dramatic but i seriously didnât need that, unnie. i didnât need to see her, i didnât need to be near her. you know how i felt about this whole thing and you still couldnât even think about how i felt. all you care about is whatever it is you have going on with karina. so for your sake and mine, just give in and tell her how you feel. she likes you too, but youâre just too blind to see it. iâm leaving, get home safe.â you stormed off, ignoring aeriâs calls of your name. when you got far enough, you took a taxi home with a million different emotions swimming in your chest.
frustration, embarrassment, anger. throughout the long course of your friendship with aeri, you had never snapped at her before - youâve never even raised your voice at her. perhaps it was years worth of pent up frustration from previous occurrences, but it didnât matter. it was done and you didnât regret a single word.Â
the sound of your phone dinging snapped you out of your thoughts, causing you to feel more frustrated with the thought of aeri texting you. you reached into your pocket to check your notifications and flinched harshly when you saw the words written on your phone.

Nayeon x F!Reader
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: secret relationship, slightly jealous nayeon, smol angst, bittersweetish ending
Word Count: 2.5k
Buy Me A Coffee :)
âNayeon unnie!â You called out in a sing-song voice upon bursting through her door. The oldest member of Twice felt the faintest of smiles creeping onto her lips at the sound of your voice. âIâm on live,â she informed, subtly shifting her phone to ensure you were out of view. âOh, hello everyone!â You exclaimed cheerily, plopping down on the bed in front of her. Nayeon peered over her phone curiously, her smile growing when you ruffled through your bag only to pull out her favourite snack with a proud smile. âLook what Y/n bought for me,â Nayeon held up the snacks to the camera.
âThey want to see you,â the brunette spoke, eyes scanning the rapidly flowing comments that flooded her screen. âSorry onceâs, but I look super ugly right now,â you uttered apologetically. âSheâs lying,â Nayeon tsked after sparing you a glance, a chuckle escaping her lips when you winked at her. âNow she's flirting with me,â Nayeon narrated for the viewers, shaking her head in amusement when you began crawling towards, a mischievous grin adorning your lips. She huffed when you dropped yourself onto her legs, head resting comfortably on her lap, just out of sight. Her free hand moved with a mind of its own, fingers combing through your recently dyed hair as she spoke to the camera.
It wasnât long before you felt the day's exhaustion overcoming you, Nayeonâs hushed voice lulling you into a relaxed state as your eyes began to flutter closed. Your unusual silence almost tricked her into believing you weren't there- that is if it wasnât for your fingertips tracing gentle patterns on her pyjama clad thigh. âWhereâs Y/n? Sheâs still here,â Nayeon hummed, gaze flickering down to meet your dopey grin. âUnnie, whereâs your hoodie?â You questioned suddenly, confusing the older girl. âWhy?â She raised her brows, pouting when you lifted yourself off her, clambering to your feet clumsily.
âBecause I want to say hi to onceâs,â you muttered decidedly, scavenging her room in search of your favourite hoodie to steal. Nayeon lazily raised her free hand, pointing at her closet. You smiled gratefully before spinning on your heel and marching towards her wardrobe eagerly. You hurriedly sift through her clothes, grin widening when your eyes land on the familiar grey oversized hoodie. âFound it!â You announced, unaware of the way her eyes lingered on you from afar, thousands of fans watching as she stared after you softly. She reluctantly pulled her gaze back to her phone as you slipped the hoodie over your head.
âHi onceâs!!â You greeted with a squeal, practically launching yourself into Nayeonâs side. She smiled nonetheless when your elbow collided with her ribs, simply slinging her arm over your shoulder. Her eyes remained on you as you stared ahead at the camera, speaking animatedly to your fans. The ghost of a smile tugged at her lips as she admired your every feature, how cute you looked with her hoodie pulled over your hidden head of newly dyed hair. âPretty,â she muttered, the words rolling off her tongue with little care for her surroundings. An awkward laugh escaped you as you slapped her shoulder playfully in an attempt to disperse the growing tension left by the silence that followed her remark.
âY/n marry me,â You read the first comment you could find aloud, expression growing smug as you grinned at the camera. âTake me on a date first,â you responded, smirking proudly to yourself. âNo, you canât!â Nayeon exclaimed, making a show of pulling you closer. âY/nâs mine!â She yelled protectively, squishing your now very flushed cheeks. Your eyes were blown wide in surprise as you stared at the camera, shock evident on your face. âI think thatâs enough for tonight,â you stated after clearing your throat, gently prying Nayeonâs hands from your face. âGoodnight everyone!â You attempted to wrap things up as quickly as possible upon catching sight of the mischievous glint in her eyes.
âGoodnight!â Nayeon echoed your words, smiling as you frantically tapped the exit button of the live. You sighed in relief when she finally placed her phone down, eyes narrowing when she grinned cheekily at you. âYouâre crazy,â you huffed, your girlfriendâs rambunctious laughter bouncing from the walls. Shaking your head at her antics, you flicked off the lamp on her bedside table that had previously been illuminating the room. âLetâs sleep,â you muttered, hoping the darkness would hide your flustered state. âSuddenly?â She questioned, the two of you slipping under the covers.
âThatâs what I came here for in the first place,â you explained, fighting off a yawn as you spoke. That was all it took for Nayeon to loosely wrap her arm around your torso, tugging you closer, your legs tangling with hers beneath the sheets. âDo you think theyâll ever catch on?â You questioned into the darkness, snuggling closer to the older girl. âI hope so, I donât like it when other people propose to my girlfriend.â Nayeon pouted, feeling your nose nudge her neck. âYouâre the only one Iâd say yes to anyways,â you confessed, soft breath tickling her smooth skin. âGood.â Nayeon uttered, pleased by your reassurance.
With that the two of you were able to fall into a deep slumber knowing your names were bound to be trending by the time youâd wake up.
~~
Nayeon bounded around the stage with a bright grin, arm linked with Momoâs as the pair relished in cheers of the crowd. Her eyes naturally wandered the stage in search of you as the song began to approach your part. When her chocolate brown orbs that swirled with nothing but adoration landed on you she swore her heart stopped, breath caught in her throat. It didnât matter how many times sheâd had the pleasure of laying her eyes upon your beautiful features, you always left her breathless. The moment your angelic singing infiltrated her ears she melted, eyes softening and smile growing. She couldâve died happily at that moment.
Only the smile was wiped from her lips mere seconds later. Sheâd made the mistake of following your gaze to a large sign adorned with bold letters in the bustling crowd. âY/n please marry me!â Nayeonâs forehead creased in a frown as she read the messily scrawled letters, poking the inside of her cheek with her tongue. Her gaze flitted back to you, watching as you blew a flirtatious kiss in the direction of the sign holder before skipping off the other end of the stage. She caught herself beginning to smile as her gaze softened briefly before she recalled that stupid sign holder and their stupid sign.
With a decisive huff, Nayeon detached her arm from Momoâs, ditching the confused Japanese girl in a hurry and striding towards you. The moment she reached you her arms were snaking around your exposed torso, courtesy of your stylist selecting a more revealing shirt for todayâs concert. You smiled at the familiar touch, instantly leaning into Nayeon as she side-hugged you. The crowd roared to life when you looped your free arm around her neck, the other occupied with a microphone. Screams erupted from all around you when Nayeon leaned in to press a lingering kiss to your cheek, leaving a very visible pink lipstick mark in her wake.
Your face flushed red under the bright lights as Nayeon stared at her lipstick stain on your face with a proud grin. Nayeon swatted your hands away when you brought them up to shield your pretty face from her view. A smug smirk adorned the eldest member's lips as she briefly glanced over her shoulder in the direction of the sign holder. She supposed a bit of fan service couldnât hurt, not if it helped to remind people just who you belonged to. It didnât matter that nothing would come of it, Nayeon felt accomplished, grin especially wide with you in her arms in front of thousands of people.
She only wished she could shout her love for you in front of everyone, tell the world that you were hers and no one else's. If only it were that easy.
~~
Nayeon nodded along with great interest as the fan seated across from her chatted away happily. Her right hand intertwined with your left beneath the table, though all those attending the fansign event were none the wiser. Her gaze occasionally strayed your way, grinning whenever youâd beam excitedly upon receiving a gift. Only this time when her eyes flickered to you, she found your lips parted in surprise as you stared at the fan before you. Her grip on your hand tightened when she spotted the candy ring the fan in front of you was holding out expectantly. âWill you marry me?â The fan asked jokingly, a chuckle escaping your lips at the predicament.
Sparing a wary glance in Nayeonâs direction, you squeezed her hand in reassurance before releasing her hand completely. The older girl watched as you allowed the fan to slip the candy ring onto your pinky finger when it wouldnât fit on your ring finger. Nayeon breathed a sigh of relief at that, though she still couldnât shake the feeling of unease brewing in her chest. It didnât leave her for the rest of the event, even long after they had greeted each and every fan. You stuck close by her for the rest of the fansign, sensing something was wrong.
Though each time your concerned gaze would meet hers she would simply flash you a smile that didnât quite reach her eyes. You would occasionally catch her chocolate brown orbs swirling with conflict when they dropped to the candy ring on your finger. But there was nothing you could do aside from gently grazing your fingertips along her arm in hopes of forcing her out of her head and away from the thoughts she was drowning in, but to no avail. Not even you could successfully save your girlfriend from whatever was going on inside her head, but you vowed to never stop trying until her toothy grin was restored.
~~
Nayeonâs strange silence continued for far longer than youâd initially anticipated, stuck in a world of her own as she mindlessly moved through the motions of the day. It wasnât until late that very same night youâd finally had enough. The members of Twice watched with curious eyes as you abruptly rose to your feet, leaving the comfortable couch in search of your girlfriend. Your brows were furrowed in concern when you found her alone on the balcony, staring off into the distance. This wasnât like her, she wasnât one to willinging isolate herself from everyone to seek solace. Without wasting another second you pushed the glass door separating the two of you open.
âNayeon?â You whispered cautiously into the silence when she didnât immediately turn to face you. The older girl merely hummed in response, gaze glued to the glittering stars. âThe moon looks pretty,â you observed the clear sky, moving to stand by her side, forearms resting on the railing. Your forehead creased in a frown when you were met by yet another hum of affirmation. âAre you okay?â You questioned softly, arm barely brushing against her own. âJust thinking,â was all she uttered, lips pursed pensively. You sunk your teeth into your bottom lip at her short, uninterested answers.Â
âTalk to me,â you urged, gaze pleading as you turned to face her. She ran her tongue over her lips thoughtfully, slowly twisting her neck to face you. Your head tilted in confusion when your eyes landed on her face. Rather than being met with a sorrowful frown or her blank expression, Nayeon simply smiled widely at you. Her chocolate brown orbs shining with love as she stared at you under the dimly lit glow of the moon. âWhat are you thinking about?â You inquired, feeling oddly shy under her stare. âYou.â She murmured as if it were the simplest thing in the world. âWhat about me?â You pried further, ducking your head in hopes of concealing your blush.
âI think I want to marry you,â Nayeon confessed, a smile threatening to break out on her lips. âI- What?â You choked out, baffled by her boldness. âMarry me.â The request fell from her lips with what seemed like practiced ease as she gazed at you like you held the fate of the world in the palm of your hand. You suppressed your grin before it could emerge on your lips, heart thrashing wildly inside your chest. âNayeon, you know we canâtâŠâ You trailed off regretfully, reaching out to grasp her hands, fearing she may slip back into her thoughts. âI know.â You glanced up to find a bittersweet smile already adorning her lips.
âBut I donât care,â she admitted bravely. Your eyes widened in surprise at her words, but you waited patiently for her to continue. She knew she could never shout her love for you from the rooftops. She knew she could never kiss you in front of thousands of people and claim you as hers. She knew she could never get down on one knee in your favourite place, your special place. She knew she could never put a ring on your finger. She knew she could never truly marry you. But most of all, Nayeon knew she could never live without you.
What mattered was that she loved you. She didnât need to shout it from the rooftops. She didnât need to tell the world who you belonged to as long as she knew. She didnât need to propose at the park you first met all those years ago because it didnât matter where she was as long as it was with you. She didnât need to put a ring on your finger because her love for you was so much more than an object. She didnât need to marry you on paper because her love wouldnât die with her, it would last an eternity. âI love you, all that matters is whatâs in our hearts. So will you marry me, Y/n?â Nayeon asked, hands still grasping yours as she got down on one knee.
âOf course I will!â You agreed easily, eyes glossy with tears as you cupped her cheeks, pressing a tender kiss to her lips. Nayeon smiled softly against your lips, pulling back to gaze at you lovingly. âI love you so much,â she confessed for the second time that night, tears threatening to spill from her own eyes. âI love you too, forever and always.â You whispered against her lips, unable to resist connecting your lips in yet another passionate kiss. When you broke apart to catch your breath you pulled Nayeon into a bone crushing hug. Your heart almost hurt with how overwhelmed with love for her you were.Â
Your shared love for one another was all that truly mattered in that moment. It was all that would ever matter.

Buy Me A Coffee :)
dedicated to my lovely muse @siyooungi <3 enjoy your dessert
Your mind buzzed with thoughts as you wandered aimlessly through the dreary school halls. You swore all the endless studying was bringing you closer to your grave with each passing day. Your desperate longing for a break guided you up the school stairs. Eyes gleaming with delight as you unlocked the familiar door, your muscles ached in protest trying to push it open, sighing when it finally gave. Collapsing on the nearest couch with a thud, your body sunk into the soft cushions immediately. âWhat the hell happened to you?â Sakura, the student council secretary, asked teasingly when your head landed atop her lap. Her hands combed through your hair as she studied your appearance, worry written on her features.
âYou work too hard Y/n,â Your student council president scolded you, eyes drifting from her assignment to spare you a wary glance. âSomeoneâs got to pay the bills,â you said playfully, no one catching the serious undertone of your words- well almost no one. Kazuhaâs concerned gaze peered at you from from afar. Your legs dangled lazily off the couch as you relished in your childhood best friendâs gentle touch. It sent you into a state of bliss, your heart swelling with content as you allowed yourself to truly relax for the first time in what seemed like forever. âWhenâs your next shift?â Chaewon asked, the innocent question dragging you back to the harsh reality that was your life. Groaning, you lazily lifted your hand to glance at your watch, forehead creasing in a frown. âOne hour,â you mumbled, cursing under your breath.
âHow do you work every night and get good grades?â Sakura muttered, baffled by your ability to balance everything. Humming thoughtfully, a smirk crept up to your lips, mischievous glint in your eyes. âA magician never reveals their secrets,â you said cheekily, abruptly jumping to your feet. Saluting jokingly, you swiftly swung the door open, disappearing without another word. Kazuha quickly rose from her own seat where sheâd been silently listening, rushing after you as while yelling her goodbyes over her shoulder. Jogging down the steps in a hurry, she bearly caught sight of you disappearing round the corner.
âY/n!!â Kazuha yelled, halting you in your step. Spinning on your heel, you turned to face the ballet dancer. Smiling brightly, you waited patiently for her to catch up with you, chuckling when she panted breathlessly upon reaching your side. âIâll walk with you,â she managed to get out between breaths. Nodding happily, you linked your arm with hers, dragging her out of the hellish school. âHowâs the dance performance coming along?â You asked curiously, lifting your hand to shield your eyes from the bright sun. Falling into step with you, she mimicked your actions, no longer squinting to see your eyes that gazed at her with sincere intrigue.
âItâs good, I even have a solo part this time,â Kazuha murmured, sheepishly scratching that back of her neck. âReally?â You asked, a proud smile adorning your lips. The dancer hummed in response, laughing when a particularly strong gust of wind blew your hair into her face. Stopping momentarily, you innocently pushed the stray strand of hair behind her ear. Her breath hitched as she gazed into your eyes, she couldâve sworn your hand lingered. Glancing briefly at your lips, her eyes widened in surprise when you inched closer. Her body instinctively followed your movements, lips lingering just short of yours.
Before she could close the gap, you pulled away abruptly, ducking your head shyly. A dark blush coated Kazuhaâs cheeks, swallowing her disappointment as she looked to her feet awkwardly. Clearing her throat, Kazuha shook her head in hopes of ridding her mind of your pretty pink lips that invaded her mind on sleepless nights. Walking silently, you busied yourself with admiring the fallen leaves decorating the path before you, uncertain of how to proceed. Both of you grinned bashfully each time your hands brushed against one other, unable to make eye contact.
âWhen does your shift end?â Kazuha finally broke her silence once sheâd successfully recomposed herself, gaze burning holes into the side of your head. Though when you turned to meet her curious gaze, she folded the moment your eyes that danced with kindness met her own. âEleven tonight?â You tilted your head, unsure of the answer. âAgain?â The older girl sighed, no stranger to your habit of overworking yourself. You shrugged your shoulders plainly. âAre you coming over after?â Kazuha asked hopefully, growing accustomed to late night visits.
âOnly if it's alright with you. I donât think I can go home tonight.â You smiled sadly, eyes telling a tale of your sorrows. Kazuha knew better than to ask. You liked that she never did, it was one of the many reasons you found yourself knocking on her door every night and Kazuh awas determined to keep it that way. âNo wonder youâve been so exhausted lately, youâre hardly getting enough rest.â She made a seamless change of topic upon sensing your discomfort. As much as she worried, she was content knowing you would open up to her some day. She could only hope for that much.
âIâm going to be late, I better leave!â You exclaimed suddenly, avoiding her concerned gaze as you wandered off, hands stuffed into your jacket pockets. âIâll see you tonight!â Kazuha yelled after you, biting back the smile that threatened to break out on her angelic features. You beamed brightly at her, giving her a double thumbs up before disappearing into the distance. The older girl sighed in content, running a flustered hand through her hair. A wide grin finally crept onto her face as she shoved her hands into her own pockets, smiling stupidly all the way home.
~~
It was ten oâclock that night when Kazuha finally heard the awaited knock on her front door. Rushing to the source of the sound with little care for her appearance, she swung the door open eagerly, heart thumping in anticipation- Or maybe it was because sheâd been practising for her upcoming performance for the past few hours, though she preferred the former. Nothing could prepare her for the sight of your sweet smile, butterflies swarming to life in her stomach upon opening the door. âYouâre early,â she managed to stutter out, swallowing her nerves with a harsh gulp. Her eyes wandered your face appreciatively, admiring the way your exhaustion only seemed to add to your beauty.
Kazuha blinked owlishly upon realising how long the two of you stood silently staring at one another in her doorway. She tilted in curiosity her head when she found you in just as much of a daze as she was. Her eyes followed your gaze to her stomach, eyes blown wide open when she noticed what you were staring at. âSorry, I was practicing the dance..â She trailed off, self-consciously covering her exposed stomach. You coughed awkwardly, pulling your gaze away from her surprisingly toned abs. âSorry I didnât tell you I was coming, boss man let me go early,â you muttered apologetically, glancing anywhere but the girl directly in front of you.
âThatâs alright, Iâm glad you got here safely.â She expressed her relief, gesturing behind her in a weak attempt to usher you inside. âI hope I didnât interrupt,â you murmur upon passing the threshold, painfully aware of the way her skin glistened with sweat in the dimly lit living room. âDonât worry, I was just about to take a shower.â She smiled reassuringly, clicking the door shut behind you. Kazuha wordlessly reached for your hand, leading you up the spiralling stairs to her room with a sudden burst of confidence. You ducked your head bashfully at the contact, cheeks dusted pink.
âMake yourself comfortable,â Kazuha urged with a grin when she arrived at her room. The pastel colours and sweet scents were something youâd grown accustomed to, spending more time in the dancerâs room than you did your own. Your chest never failed to tighten at the sight of the small bed the two of you climbed into each night. Youâd never bothered to question why her family homeâs numerous guest bedrooms were always left untouched when you visited, not when you slept so soundlessly next to her. Wordlessly curling into her side each night was strangely comforting for reasons youâd never understood, but wouldnât dare risk losing her warm embrace with stupid questions.
âIâll be back in a bit,â Kazuha mumbled once youâd plopped down on her bed. She clumsily searched for a change of clothes before disappearing off the bathroom. You chuckled when she stumbled out of the room, a foreign feeling settling in your chest as you glanced around her room. Ignoring the persistent buzz of your phone as you settled comfortably on her bed, boredom threatening to overcome you as you stared up at the ceiling littered with glow in the dark stars. It felt like hours had passed before you finally heard the shower turn off, but perhaps it was just your growing anticipation to be in her calming presence.
âAre you tired?â Kazuhaâs gentle inquiry greeted your ears after what felt like an eternity had passed without hearing her angelic voice. âA little,â you admitted, sitting up to find her leaning against the threshold. Her dark wet locks framed her soft features, oversized hoodie almost swallowing her body whole. You shivered under her intense gaze, overwhelmed by how hard your heart thrashed against your ribs at the mere sight of her. âYouâre cold,â she observed, eyes narrowing when you shrunk into yourself. Her eyes lit up as she dashed towards her closet, reappearing seconds with a jumper in hand, her jumper.
She silently offered it to you, her sheepish smile rendering you speechless. âThanks,â you murmured softly, tugging it over your head appreciatively. âIt suits you,â she blurted out before she could stop herself, admiring the way you looked in her clothes. Sinking your teeth into your bottom lip to prevent yourself from smiling at the compliment, your cheeks flared red as you avoided her curious gaze. You were thankful when she flicked the lights off, praying she hadnât noticed you how easily she flustered you. Your smile widened with a will of its own when the bed dipped beside, Kazuha slipping beneath the covers.
Your breath hitched when her arm brushed against yours, poking the inside of your cheek with your tongue as your nerves got the best of you. No matter how many times youâd shared a bed with the dancer the tension lingering between the two of you never faded. Though after an agonising five minutes of painful silence, Kazuha finally shifted closer to you. She pretended it was so she wouldnât fall off the edge to ease her mind, but both of you knew it had nothing to do with that. âIâm cold,â the lie rolled off your tongue with practiced ease, shuffling closer to Kazuha under the pretense of a cool night.
It was the same as every night you visited Kazuha. The excuses you made to be closer to one another were safe. It didnât matter that neither of you believed the poorly curated lies. It was familiar and that was what mattered. Though Kazuha deemed tonight would be different. The way your breath fanned her neck when you snuggled closer to her was something she didnât want to imagine her life without. She never wanted to forget the way hands curled into the fabric of her hoodie so tightly as though you feared she may disappear into the darkness of the night. Your sleepy confessions that made her heart race each night werenât something she was sure she could survive without. Having all that in mind made words sheâd stumbled over for months seamlessly roll off the tip of her tongue.
âYou know I like you right?â Kazuha's question echoes the darkness. You hummed in acknowledgement, biting your tongue as you shifted in her embrace. A part of her regretted the admission when you received it with silence, but you spoke before she could spiral. âI donât know what to say,â your whisper was so quiet she almost missed it. Rather than jumping to conclusions, she waited patiently for you to elaborate, but she couldnât help the anxious feeling that overcame her. âYouâre one of the kindest people I know and you make me feel so safe, but a part of it scares me.â You confessed, voice muffled by her shoulder. Her heart ached at the pain hiding beneath your words.
âIt scares me because youâre the only person that has ever made me feel this way,â you continued bravely. âAnd I donât know what that means or if itâs even what you want to hear-â You cut yourself off, inhaling sharply as soon as the words left your lips. You couldnât see the faint smile tugging at the corners of Kazuhaâs mouth for it was hidden by the darkness, but you could feel her grip on your waist tighten. âI guess what Iâm trying to say is.. I think I like you too,â you breathed out before it could become a ramble about months of concealed confessions. The warmth that blossomed in Kazuhaâs chest at your admission was like no other. She was certain she could never be happier than she was in that very moment.
âReally?â The doubtful inquiry escaped her lips before she could stop it, uncertainty clouding her mind. âIâve never felt this way for anyone else before, but if youâd be willingâŠIâd like to see where this might lead us.â You suggested, voluntarily taking a leap of faith into the unknown for her. âYou mean dating?â She questioned cluelessly, holding her breath hopefully. âOnly if youâre interested-â You stumbled over your words, desperately warding off the doubts that plagued your mind day and night. âOf course I am,â she breathed out before you finish, cheeks hurting from the sheer amount of times sheâd smiled in your presence.
âWell then I suppose thatâs settled,â you uttered stiffly, unsure how to proceed with your newfound establishment. It seemed Kazuha was no better, awkwardly shifting beneath you as she struggled to find the right words. âI suppose so,â was all she managed to conjure, words left hanging in the air. Though you were no strangers to awkward tension lingering between you, this was unfamiliar territory. Your mind wandered far and wide until the painfully loud silence simply became too much to bear.
âZuha?â You questioned into the crook of her neck, feeling her go rigid beneath as your lips barely brushed against her skin. âMhm?â She hummed shakily, not trusting her voice enough to speak. âI really want to kiss you right now,â your daring declaration caught the dancer off guard, blood rushing to her face. âOh⊠oh!â She exclaimed clumsily, eyes comically wide as her brain scrambled to express her delight. âOh?â You questioned, insecurities creeping into the whispered question. âGood oh! Great even!â She was quick to confirm, tugging you closer before doubts could pull you away.
âGood oh..â You trailed off with a pleased smile, Kazuha nodding her head rapidly in agreement despite the fact you couldnât see her. âWell in that case,â you mumbled into the silence, lifting your head from her chest. If Kazuha was curious, you didnât leave her wondering long. Leaning forwards, your soft lips managed to find her cheek in the darkness, lingering before you pulled away with a pleased grin. The dancer was wrong when she though she could never be happier, because if she got to spend the rest of her life like this she was bound to combust from joy.
It may not have been the kiss Kazuha was expecting, but her heart thrashed painfully against her ribs nonetheless. The content sigh that slipped past her lips was enough confirmation for you to know she felt the same way you did in that exact moment. While learning to love would certainly be difficult, you were positive that with Kazuha by your side anything was achievable. With that in mind, you slipped into a peaceful slumber in the embrace of the girl you would come to love in no time.
waiting patiently for my kiss đđ

LIVE LAUGH LOVE YUNJIN
Can u make like yunjin from le sserafim and fem reader having an argument like about how yunjin forgot about important stuff and the reader is giving her the silent treatment and then it turns into fluff
A/N: as iâm rereading your request, i just now realized you wanted an argument- iâm sorry, i only included the silent treatment part!! (pls forgive me.. i hope you still like it.)
Pairing: Yunjin x Fem!Reader
Idol: Huh Yunjin (Le Sserafim)
Warning(s): None!
Your relationship with Yunjin was filled with love and happiness, as most relationships should be. However, there was one recurring issue that had been nearly driving you insaneâYunjin's forgetfulness. Yunjin seemed to forget important things, like special dates and even plans that you had made together.
After another forgotten event, instead of you expressing your grievances, you simply chose to remain quiet. You didnât even bother reminding her before she left your shared apartment. Though, your attire shouldâve rang some bells in her head, it did not. While you werenât dressed formally, you were dressed well enough for her to tell you intended on going somewhere. But no, she simply complimented you and gave you a kiss, not bothering to put two and two together.
See, as a date idea, you had made a reservation at a restaurant that Yunjin loved, but your girlfriend had completely forgotten about that and went to spend time with some friends instead. By the time she came back, you were sitting on the couch flipping through channels and changed into more comfortable clothes. She happily plopped down beside you, ready to tell you all about her day and how much fun she had.
Yunjin was completely oblivious to the fact that she was being subjected to the silent treatment. She continued to talk to you as if everything was normal, only to be met with your silence. Confusion flickered in her eyes as she realized that something was amiss. She was used to doing all the talking in the relationship and was overall more talkative than you, but you were oddly quieter than usual.
"Love?" Yunjin called out tentatively, her voice filled with concern. "Are you okay? Did I say something wrong?" Still, you remained silent, refusing to acknowledge her, leaving her in the echoing void of your silence.
Like a puppy wanting attention, she scooted closer to you and brushed her fingers against yours, hoping for a response. To no surprise, you simply kept your gaze fixed forward. Though, you didnât brush her off or move away, providing her a short relief since you werenât preventing her from touching you.
âBaby..â She leaned closer, her breath tickling your ear, hoping that proximity would melt away the tension. It affected you, of course. Sheâs simply your weakness, but you were still upset with her. So, you suddenly stood up and made your way to your shared bedroom. Without skipping a beat, she was right on your tail from the moment you put a foot forward. She trailed behind you, not far but not too close either.
âWhy are you ignoring me?â The taller woman asked as you opened the door, having her close it behind the two of you. As expected, you didnât give her a response. You acted as if she wasnât there and went into the bathroom, planning on getting ready to wine down for the night. She watched you through the mirror, eyebrows furrowed and arms crossed.
She just couldnât figure out what she did and was frustrated that she couldnât rack her brain for a memory to pop up. Knowing you wouldnât verbally tell her, she marched out of the bathroom with a mission in mind:
Recall what she forgot this time.
So, she decided to look around the bedroom. She looked for any possible notes, if she misplaced something, literally anything. Well, that was until she looked up at the calendar above your desk. Yunjin walked closer so she could read the writingâwhen she spotted it, she wanted to give herself a facepalm over and over again. In red pen with hearts and exclamation marks was the name of her favorite restaurant and âdateâ written beside it.
Just as she turned around, you were exiting the bathroom. All she could do was freeze because she didnât expect you to be out so soon. Not that you were paying her any mind anyways, she thought. You completely walked past her to lay down on the bed, her eyes trailing you as you did so.
Yunjin's worry turned into desperation as she tried different approaches to break through your silence. She went to your side of the bed and kneeled next to you, holding onto your hand. She was once again shocked that you let her touch you, her eyes widening slightly before she composed herself. "Love, I'm so sorry." Yunjin whispered, her voice barely audible.
"Please, talk to me."
But you stayed resolute, your silence unyielding. Yunjin's heart sank, and she sighed in defeat, plopping down on the bed with a heavy thud. Her eyes, once filled with determination, were now filled with sadness and longing.
Time seemed to stretch on as Yunjin watched you, her gaze filled with an unspoken plea. She desperately wanted to fix things, to make you smile again, but she didn't know how. She contemplated her actions, realizing the impact her forgetfulness had on you, and regret washed over her.
Suddenly, Yunjin had an idea. Determined to break through your silence, she sat up and reached for her phone. Swiftly, she typed a message and sent it to your number:
"I know I've messed up, and I'm truly sorry. I promise to be more attentive and remember all the important things. But I need you, my love. I need your voice, your laughter, your love. Please, let me make it right."
Your phone lit up on the bedside table, causing you to glance at the heartfelt message. Your heart softened as the read the text on the screen. You turned to Yunjin and saw the sincerity in her eyes, causing you to crack. You couldn't ignore her any longer. With a small smile, you finally gave in to her cuteness, unable to resist her genuine efforts.
Opening your arms for her, she immediately embraced you. It was a hug so tight that one would assume she was afraid youâd leave. You would never do that, but she felt like she lost a part of you when you werenât speaking. "Thank you.." Yunjin murmured into your shoulder, her voice filled with relief.
"I promise, I'll do better. I love you."
You melted into her embrace, feeling the warmth of her love surround you. The tension that had filled the room dissipated, replaced by a renewed sense of connection and understanding. You both knew that despite the occasional arguments and moments of frustration, your love for each other would always bring you back together.
âI love you too.â You finally spoke, causing the brunette to squeal and roll over, bringing you with her. You couldnât help but laugh at the action as it resulted in you being on top of her, still within her embrace.
Yunjin rested her head back onto the bed, looking up at you with a smile; another thing you could not resist. With the close proximity, she puckered her lips, causing you to smile at the gesture. You knew what she wanted, but you werenât sure if you wanted to give in to it. She still had her arms around you so she shook you a little, basically pleading.
âCome on..â
You rolled your eyes playfully before placing a quick kiss on her lips. You were met with a look of disbelief, which made your smile widen. You knew that wasnât enough to satisfy her, but you loved messing with her and it seemed fair to do so after what happened this evening.
You hummed, contemplating whether you should give in to your girlfriendâs wants, or what she would consider her needs. âDonât think about it, just do it.â You heard her mutter beneath you, causing you to raise your eyebrows.
âThen work for it.â You spoke against her lips, earning a groan from the woman and evoking a chuckle out of you.
And work for it, she would.

Buy Me A Coffee :)
As hard as you tried to listen to the words of your leader, you couldn't help but let your eyes wander to the girl beside you, Chaewon's stern voice falling deaf in your ears. Your eyes shone with mirth as you watched Kazuha's focus waver, feeling your stare burning holes into the side of her head. She couldn't help the smile that made its way onto her face upon turning to meet your warm gaze. Her cheeks burned red as you continued to silently stare at her like a love sick fool. She willed herself to turn back to Chaewon with great effort, but not before reaching out to give your hand a brief squeeze.
Your forehead creased in a frown as she pulled her hand back to her lap after a few short seconds. Staring after her hand with a pout, you silently shifted on the couch, shuffling closer to your girlfriend. Your hand crept closer to Kazuha's as Chaewon droned on about the importance of your upcoming performance. The ballerina spared you another glance, eyes softening when they landed on your subtle frown. She wordlessly closed the distance between your hands, grasping your hand firmly in reassurance. She laced your fingers together as a silent promise she wouldn't let go this time.
"Are you guys even listening?!" Chaewon's yell of exasperation pulled the two of you from a world of your own. You both exchanged shy smiles before offering an apologetic expression to your leader. The older merely huffed dismissively, ignoring the giggles of your members as they shared knowing looks. When Chaewon resumed her lecture, the two of you did your best to listen carefully so not to anger your leader. While your gazes never flickered to one another again in fear of a scolding, your hands remained intertwined at your sides.
~~
Attending what the dancer could've sworn was the millionth schedule that week, she allowed a tired sigh to slip past her lips. Her mind wandered far and wide as she willed her eyes not to flutter closed, just a few more hours. Kazuha found her gaze wandering the dressing room in search of you, unable to help the smile from tugging her lips upwards as her eyes landed on their intended target. She watched silently as you happily spoke with your stylist, admiring your stage outfit appreciatively. Her eyes filled with delight when you briefly met her gaze, beaming when your lips curled into a knowing grin.
Sakura eyed her younger member knowingly, lips twitching as the faintest of grins threatened to creep onto her face. She knew how much Kazuha adored you from the very moment she laid her pretty brown eyes upon you. The way the dancer's gaze lingers longer on you than anyone else, an exception to her boredom, her only exception. She would never get bored losing herself in you, in your irises that shone with nothing but affection for her. Tracing your features with her eyes when you weren't looking, admiring each and every detail that was unique to you and you only.
How she would attentively listen to every word that rolled off your tongue, no matter how stupid it may be. When she would unconsciously smile each time a melodious laugh passed your lips. Most of all, the way she always longed to be in your presence, whether it be sitting silently as her leg gently brushed against yours or simply standing by your side during schedule. It eased her mind, she liked knowing she would never have to reach far to find your hand. She liked knowing you were close by.
Sakura's eyes swirled with fondness as she glanced between the two of you. For as long as the eldest had known you, you had always been the reserved girl that preferred watching from the sidelines rather than drawing attention. Listening rather than speaking. But with Kazuha you were an entirely different person. She brought you out of your shell, and Sakura couldn't be more thankful for it. They all got to witness a different side of you, only none of them could seem to figure out why the Japanese girl was the only one that could make it happen. Sakura was content not knowing, she was just happy the two of you had found one another.
~~
You tugged Kazuha's- your cap down to cover your eyes as numerous bright flashes of a camera threatened to blind you. You did your best to wave at fans as you moved through the airport at an ungodly hour of the morning. A grin crept onto lips when the faintest brush of fingertips grazed your arm. No words were exchanged between the two of you as Kazuha linked her arm with yours, head landing on your shoulder as you waited patiently at security. You leaned into her comforting touch, it helped you forget about how tired you truly were.
"Where's your jacket?" Kazuha whispered, concern growing when you shivered in her grasp. "Eunchae was cold," you shrugged, sparing a glance at the youngest who bounced around happily in your oversized hoodie. Kazuha couldn't help but smile at your selflessness, though she also couldn't help but worry when goosebumps rose in the wake of the airport's stupidly cold air conditioning. "You'll keep me warm, right?" You questioned teasingly, smirking when her cheeks flushed red. Glancing around awkwardly, she nodded her head jerkily with false confidence.
Unlinking your arm from hers, your eyes landed on her timid smile as you turned to face her. She raised her brows in silent questioning, but you merely grinned cheekily, eyes dancing with mischief. Her hands were stuffed into her jacket pockets, so you took the opportunity to snake your hands beneath her unzipped jersey, wrapping your arms around her waist securely. She smiled in understanding when you buried your face into the crook of her neck, wrapping her hoodie around you, allowing you to share the warmth. Neither of you paid attention to the increased flashes of cameras at your display, simply basking in one another's presence before you would be inevitably separated for an agonisingly long fight.
~~
Zuha <3: I miss you, come cuddle me
Chaewon's curious gaze flickered to you upon hearing your uncharacteristically loud giggles fill the small hotel room. "Who are you texting??" Chaewon questioned, eyes narrowed in suspicion as she stared down at you. "No one," you murmur unconvincingly, the slight quirk of your lips giving you away. The older girl stared at you scrutinizingly, tongue poking the inside of her cheek. She watched as you smiled down at your phone, tapping away happily. "Y/n, I can see you typing." Chaewon muttered, unimpressed by your poor attempt at lying.
Abruptly lifting yourself off the hotel bed opposite Chaewon's, you grabbed your jacket before heading towards the door. "Where are you going?" Your leader questions, attempting to mask her worry with faux frustration. "Zuha and Kkura unnie's room, they're more fun." You poked your tongue out at your leader before slipping out of your shared room. Chaewon pinched the bridge of her nose in exasperation as the door clicked shut behind her. You were certainly close to earning the role of her most troublesome child.
~~
Kazuha smiled when she heard the door to her hotel room creak open, placing her phone down when you came tip-toed into sight. She chuckled when you waved at her with a stupid grin, opening her arms expectantly. "Where's Kkura unnie?" You questioned, practically launching yourself into her arms. Kazuha huffed when you landed atop her but smiled nonetheless. "She went out, Yunjin and Eunchae wanted to explore." She explained, and you snorted, imagining your poor eldest member being dragged from place to place by the energetic duo. "You didn't want to join them?" You asked, but Kazuha merely shook her head, smiling down at you.
"I just wanted to spend time with you," the dancer confessed, pulling you impossibly closer in the dimly lit hotel room. "You're such a sap," you teased, ducking your head in hopes of hiding your flushed cheeks. Kazuha only smiled in response, unable to deny your claim. After a beat of silence passed, you glanced up at your girlfriend, melting under her adoring gaze. "But I missed you too," you admitted, recalling the messages she'd sent earlier. Beaming at your admission, Kazuha felt the words rolling off the tip of her tongue before she could stop them.
"I love you," she uttered, brown orbs swirling with sincerity. No matter how many times the words slipped past her lips, butterflies would always swarm to life inside your stomach every time. "I love you too," you whispered into the comfortable silence, snuggling into her arms. "But you've really got to stop making me act like a lunatic in public with your adorable texts because Chaewon unnie is getting suspicious." You huffed, and Kazuha chuckled at your strange request. "Then how will you know I want cuddles?" She asked, flashing you an adorably innocent grin. "Fair point," you conceded, feeling your eyes begin to grow heavy with sleep. Her soft giggles were the last thing you heard before losing yourself to sleep.
~~
You found yourself right back in Kazuha's warm embrace on the dorm's couch the very next week. Only this time the members seemed to be consumed by a world of chaos, one the two of you simply watched from the outskirts. You were perfectly content in her arms, feeling no desire to be anywhere else. "You guys are being boring again!" Eunchae suddenly complained, dragging you into her chaos, willing or not. As much as you loved your youngest member, nothing could move you from the comforting hold of your girlfriend.
"I'm tired," you complained, snuggling further into Kazuha's arms, face buried in her hoodie clad shoulder. "Go bed if you're tired!" Chaewon scolded you without missing a beat, hands planted firmly on her hips. "No, I want to stay here with Zuha." You huffed, feeling the dancer's hold on you tighten in silent agreement. You groaned in annoyance when Chaewon tried to tug at your arm in hopes of convincing you to sleep early for once, but to no avail.
"Hey, I thought I was your favourite!" Yunjin exclaimed loudly, eyes narrowed as you sunk further into your girlfriend's embrace. Plopping down on the couch beside you with a thud, the vocalist poked your cheek repetitively until you spared her so much as a passing glance. Swatting her hand away, you shook your head at her claim, fingers curling into the fabric of your girlfriend's hoodie. "Zuha's warmer," you uttered simply, grinning at the look of betrayal spreading across Yunjin's features.
"Unnie, you told me I was your favourite last week!" Eunchae whined, betrayal of her own creeping onto her face. The youngest's saddened expression had you reluctantly pulling away from Kazuha, rising to your feet and padding towards the disheartened maknae. "Don't be silly, I don't have favourites." You reassured, ruffling Eunchae's hair and flashing her an apologetic smile. "Except Zuha?" Yunjin inquired, squinting at you from the couch. "Except Zuha," you affirmed, the words slipping past your lips before you could stop them. The chaos that followed was certainly worth seeing Kazuha's sheepish smile.
~~
The six of you sat in a circle in the dorm's living room, numerous exclamations both happy and sad bounced from the walls, ones you were almost certain your neighbours would be complaining about tomorrow. Who knew Uno could be such a competitive game? You spared a subtle glance in Kazuha's direction, nudging her upon noticing she was left with only one card. Her confused gaze found yours, to which you nodded your head towards her singular card. "Oh, Uno!" Kazuha announced happily, smiling when you clapped encouragingly. You smiled when she sported a cute frown, her eyes drifting between the stack cards and her own, determined to win.
"Y/n unnie! It's your turn," Eunchae complained impatiently, pulling you from your daze. You hummed in acknowledgement, hearing Eunchae giggle when your eyes landed on the stack of cards before you. "Pick up eight!" The youngest cackled evilly, eyes dancing with mischief. Your eyes briefly flickered to your own draw two card, but one wary glance in Kazuha's direction and you knew what you had to do. Eunchae grinned widely when you began picking up the required eight cards from the deck, and it was all worth it when you heard your girlfriend's exclamation of victory. Cheering happily, you leaned forward and pressed a celebratory kiss to her cheek despite your own calculated misfortune.
Your leader's jaw dropped at the display, eyes wide as she stared at the two of you in disbelief. Never in all the years Chaewon had known you had you ever let anyone kiss your cheek, let alone kiss someone else's. "I want a kiss too!" Yunjin requested, tapping her cheek expectantly. You shook your head in refusal, poking your tongue out at the vocalist childishly. "How come Zuha gets a kiss and I don't?" The older girl complained, still insistently taping her cheek. "Because Zuha's my girlfriend," you blurted out casually.
Chaewon's brain promptly short-circuited.
Not only had you, her child, had what she was convinced was your first kiss, but now you had a girlfriend too? "Chaewon unnie?" You questioned hesitantly, nothing was ever good when she was quiet, shouting would be closer to normal, preferred even. Her narrowed eyes flickered between you and Kazuha for what felt like aeons before she finally broke her silence. "My baby is growing up!" She cried, pulling you into a surprisingly tight hug. You fought off the grin threatening to break out on your features at her approval. No one's opinion meant more to you than hers.
"How come you never told me you had a crush?" Chaewon asked, offended that you hadn't confided in her. Sakura cut in when you began to stumble over your words, embarrassment clear as day on your face. "It was kinda obvious, Chaewon-ah." The eldest stated plainly, earning a grateful smile from you. "We never really hid it from you guys," you mumbled, sheepishly scratching the back of your neck. The leader only shushed you in response, patting your head affectionately. "I can't believe my baby had her first kiss!" She squealed, pulling you into yet another bone crushing hug.
"First?" You didn't get a chance to finish your sentence before Yunjin's hand was slapped over your mouth. Her eyes were comically wide as she shook head rapidly, pointing towards Chaewon in warning. The leader's eyes were now narrowed in a glare, staring down at you. "That's right, first kiss!" You swallowed thickly, shrinking under her stern gaze. Chaewon hummed approvingly, sending Kazuha one last warning glare before smiling brightly at the two of you.
"Unnie, is that why you always sleep in Zuha's bed-" Eunchae was hurriedly dragged away by Yunjin before she could complete her innocent question, but enough had been said, or perhaps too much. "Y/n, what was Eunchae talking about? I'm only going to ask you once." Reluctantly turning to meet your demise, you winced upon meeting Chaewon's harsh glare, wondering how it was possible for someone so tiny to be so incredibly intimidating. "I'm waiting." Your leader uttered impatiently.
You were so dead.
