So I’m at a library in a town I don’t live in to spend time with my nieces and I go to the bathroom and see this sign.
They turned their old card catalog into free supplies people can discretely take on their own.
This is the coolest thing ever, a great way to help people without making them ask, and an amazing reuse of a the card catalog. I’m seriously about to cry I love it so much.

I feel so sad.. despite it being 1 year and 1 month since my stroke, is it really only now that I'm realizing how much of my memory that I have lost? And things that seem to be left in my brain are all muddled and confusing and don't make any sense now :-( Is this just a more obvious state of awareness today or something? It's not like I didn't know this, I think...
I feel sad for the skills and knowledge I used to have... And for how small my world is now, how I can only think of my small little world and the basics of getting through each day. It's like everything else is beyond me now. And like I don't belong in any of my previous circles despite how understanding my friends are. It's hard for me to even realize how long it goes without me talking to them. And when I do realize, it feels like it's been too long, and that what I could possibly offer them right now is too little

Asshole causes an accident by attempting to turn left on to the highway before ensuring there was appropriate room and time to safely enter against oncoming traffic. Smashes in to my mom’s truck. Thankfully no long term physical injury except quite a lot of anxiety. Insurance determines she was definitely not at fault.
And the f-cker has the gall to sue HER??? You caused the accident asshole! You’re the one who tried to beat oncoming traffic on the highway instead of stopping and waiting at a stop sign until it was safe. You’re the one who totalled my mom’s truck and made her seriously bruised and very anxious about driving now. WTF is wrong with you???? Your terrible judgement call is your own damn fault and if you’re having issues that’s why you have your own insurance. How f-ing dare you make my mom goes through all this again and try to get compensation from her!
