The inebriated male couldn’t resist scoffing at the blonde’s remark, an annoyed eye-roll following seconds later. “Not all of us here wish to skip our youth entirely, some of us prefer living a little, but I wouldn’t expect Prissy Cissy to UNDERSTAND the meaning of the phrase.” If that was what Sirius’ cousin considered someone making a fool out of themselves, James could only imagine what she thought of the Marauders and their antics. “Has anyone ever told you to loosen up? No one expects you to act like a middle-aged woman all the time.”

It took a lot of convincing for Mary to go to the party. She still had her doubts about being back but she thought if she stuck by the music table and eyed the choices of bands they had on vinyl. To no one in particular, she cleared her throat, “the sorting ceremony was rather long…”
If it wasn’t for his obsessive need to be fashionably late to everything, James would’ve arrived at the party ages ago, drowned in libations but instead he made a rather DELAYED entrance. Still, the scent of beer lingered on his breath, having shared a few prior to coming with his mates.
“On the contrary, Mary, I’d say it was cut relatively short.” He jokingly argued as he approached the female, glad at the very least to be back around his friends regularly for something other than war. “But then it may have slipped my mind that we were still required to attend after all these years. I didn’t want to intimidate the firsties.”

black-eyed susan: have you ever given/received a black eye? why?
i’ve given a few, most of them were accidentally while playing quidditch but the fair few that weren’t happened in result of drunken shenanigans and me thinking i was the tough guy. same will go for the vice versa of it all.
daylily: do you have any daily routines/habits? are they ingrained into you as a child or have they been recent additions?
something that might actually surprise many is that i’m very into my skincare routine and as much as my roommates may complain, i can’t go to sleep until i’ve done all the steps.

though this one may seem a bit on the cliche side, freshly mowed grass, the smell of spring as well. it means quidditch is in full swing and his spirits and self-confidence are high due to the constant praise on the field, as well as off the field.
flowering cabbage: name one thing you keep, despite it being pointless or purposeless other than sentimental value or you simply cannot throw it away, and state the reason why you hang onto it.
though he personally doesn’t believe them to be pointless or purposeless, others seems to disagree. but he’s very proud of his rather large chocolate frog card collection. he refuses to trade his dumbledore’s.

bleeding-heart: do they open up freely with their emotions, or do you bottle it up until you burst? if you do hold it in, what is usually your breaking point?
it varies. the people around him definitely play a big role in whether or not he’ll open up and what kind of emotions he’s feeling. anger and frustrations aren’t something he often hides, he’ll easily vent to anyone around, especially the marauders, similarily with woes of the heart, but that can be a bit trickier, he may be a bit hesitant to doing so…and living in a world filled with denial. that said, liquor and late nights are a good way to get him to open up…
