Catcember day 14! Sometimes cats come off as almost human. It could also be the catnip she was given to get the santa hat on... This lovely is the sister of the cat post yesterday. Two days ago I did some pet photos for Reg so she could have a nice Christmas card with her kitties on them.

Catcember day 13! Tumblr has been giving me major posting issues. So have a super funny cat photo to make up for it!

Catcember day 10! It's so adorable when kitties rub up on random things.

Catcember day 9! I had trouble picking one for today. Here’s an adorably loud kitten I met randomly in a mall.

Catcember day 8. This is a new kitty picture I haven't post anywhere yet. I went shooting some friends in a park and there were a lot of feral kitties hiding in the bushes. If you look closely you can see another kitty behind the one in the foreground. People do feed them, but kitties without homes always make me sad.

I recently got some macro diopters for my 50mm and have been playing with it fairly relentlessly. Took these while getting ready for a night out! Higher res version here.

Catcember day 7! Keeping in the theme of cats making goofy faces... here's Mouse, but I call him Meowsie because he meows allllll the time.

Catcember day 6! One of these days I'm going to put together a book of cats making goofy faces. I have a LOT of photos like that.

Catcember day 5! Over a year ago, Adam and I went out into the cold to go get some groceries. On our way back to the apartment, this tiny kitten came out from under a van and started meowing at us. He had a flea collar, but we weren't sure if he belonged to anyone. We took him in from the cold for a couple hours and made sure he was fed and watered before letting him back out.

Catcember day 4! Thundercleese thinks AT-ATs are delicious. Omnomnomnom.

Catcember day 3! Dancing Cat! When I was in Denton, Texas, Catherine and I ran into this beautiful cat when we were going to her apartment. We thought it belonged to the guy downstairs, but it turned out she was either abandoned or lost. She made a lot of fliers trying to find the owner. It was the most beautiful and sweet cat I've ever met. I shall name it Fluffer Nutter.

Catcember day 2! This little guy is named Passenger 57 and belongs to a friend of mine's brother. He didn't really care for me until I whipped out my camera. Then he jumped into that box and started posing up a storm! I have this effect on the felines.

It's a little bare right now... I need to stop neglecting it.

Today marks the start of Catcember! I will be posting a cat photo that I have taken everyday from today until the 31st with a story about the kitty I am posting. This is Oliver. He belongs to my Uncle John and acts more like a dog than a cat. Oliver is very loyal and gets very excited when my uncle comes home. As soon as he sits down, Oliver jumps into his lap and has the biggest kitty smile as he gets lovins' from John. His house is in the middle of woods and Oliver likes to bring home lots of presents. Just goes to show that cats can also be mans best friend.

Here's our Tron Christmas tree! Good Lord some people. There really is no winning with a Christmas tree. This one in particular was one my roommate had. I wouldn't even buy a plastic one, let alone a real one because I don't celebrate Christmas. Enjoy the photo for what it is and next time leave your name.
