Rough idea for 'Scene 01!' I'm not sure if I'll do more than one scene tbh, but in a dream world I would do about... 4 scenes.

I'm also not too worried about the background looking 1:1 with the game, I'll probably be covering a lot of things up with some intense shadows. I might be switching to CSP next!

I'm doing this in the little spare time I have right now, but I'm playing around in Blender and used a free supermarket asset (This one: https://www.blendswap.com/blend/4726) to roughly make the Super Duper Mart in FO4. I hope to use it while I make a short animation to practice running/background/etc. I bet it'll take awhile because it's not my main focus right now! Honestly my main focus is PT in between fixing up things in our house after a burst pipe X'D But dangit I'm excited to work more on this!

so I am finally using grease pencil! I'm following this series on YT right now and I'm able to follow it pretty well. In the past, I've been pretty overwhelmed by grease pencil, but I'm happy to have finally started! It's not as scary as I thought!

It's my most frequently played Sole for FO4, Boe!

He's my plain main, I like the idea that he chooses to stand to the side or in the back to see other characters shine. He's very shy, a great planner, but constantly has his foot in his mouth. He loves boisterous or comedic characters, like Hancock, Cait, and Deacon. Like most soles, he would die for Dogmeat.

It's been a year since I've joined Tumblr, and a year since I've started to play Fallout, and subsequently draw it a bunch too! I have some ideas for bigger drawings/animations I'd like to do to celebrate my year here, but for now I'm going with sharing some self-indulgent sketches of my himbo Boe :V

Also, I'm stuck in a hotel right now after our pipes froze and burst. We had a snow storm the night we got to the hotel, so we haven't been able to get back to our home with a plumber to assess and start fixing the damage. But! I'm not alone in this, and my pets are being great at the hotel. It might take a bit, but things will get back to normal!

I'm having a blast working on this gift commission of Whiskey by Koilartist (gifted by Krokaxe!) They are both such lovely, amazing artists, I feel like I've been following them/their work on Tumblr since I got on here, so I am ECSTATIC to be drawing this gal!

I still have plans to draw some jewelry for her and finish up the detailed work. I am so happy with how this is turning out, and I LOVE doing the glowy-radiation effects (❁´◡`❁) She's such a cool character to draw!

New things I've learned while working on this:

How to animate wavy/flapping clothes

How to FINALLY use keyframes and tweening in CSP (or at least I'm way better than before!)

A thousand ways to not animate clouds

I am having so much fun :3 And thank you to everyone who has had such encouraging words, I don't think I would ever pursue animating as much as I have without the kind words from this community <3

I'll be redoing the pip-boy arm, mostly just testing out/getting used to things again! It's hard not to just jump into animating the faces; it's one of my favorite parts to move around. I know pacing myself will make it all the better. One step at a time!

Thank you everyone for the kind messages, I got to read them on my birthday yesterday and if made me feel special 👑 ❤️ (I am the ancient year of 30 now. Am I supposed to be a smart adult now 🤔)

Turns out i have covid! It's really taken the wind outta me, ha, so we're taking it very slow and easy. Thank yall again for the kind messages, patience, and well wishes! I am definitely feeling better today than I have in the past week. Not 100%, like.... 60%? I dunno, this is my first time getting it and my body is not happy haha.

But, I moved next to a lot of nature, so I am thrilled to recover next to some gorgeous foliage.

To my two awesome, lovely commissioners--I might be up to drawing tonight or tomorrow! I AM HYPED TO HAVE THE ENERGY TO TALK TO YALL AGAIN 😭

While moving to a new place, i had a tiny surgery i needed to recover from, but instead I caught the flu, and it's really slowed stuff down to a halt until my health is better!
