Summary:
Phil Coulson has a problem.
Since his wife died, he’s lived on a remote colony world, raising his children and recovering from the wound that nearly killed him. Now, his old commander needs him back on the job; he's heard troubling rumors of an invasion force that could threaten every world in the Galactic Alliance. But Phil’s two daughters have no other family; what would happen to them if Phil died too? They need another parent, so Phil contacts Earth’s best marriage brokers.
Clint Barton has a problem.
Since he escaped from his ne’er-do-well brother Barney and the criminal gang that tried to force him to join, he’s been living under the protection of Natasha Romanoff, the Red Room’s most valued agent. But Barney has caught wind of him again, and even the Black Widow can’t protect him from the powerful crime syndicate that is after him now. Clint needs a place to lie low, somewhere so far away from Earth that his enemies can’t find him. So Natasha suggests that he consider the benefits of an arranged marriage on a faraway planet.
It seems like a mutually beneficial arrangement. But can two independent men move past their secrets and build a real life together?
