Scully started kickboxing or judo after being taken by that creepy hair guy.
Mulder maybe suggested she go or went with her the first time bc she asked him to come. Sometimes he goes with her and they grapple so she can learn how to fight back against a bigger man.
Explains why she held her own way better when pfaster kidnapped her again.
scully crying when diana died is truly one of my favorite moments of her character…she hated “that woman” so much and diana was so awful, but in the end, it was diana that saved mulder’s life. the way that scully just says “i’m sorry. i’m so sorry. i know she was your friend.” and hugs him and cries. she hated her so much, but diana was important to mulder, so she’s mourned.
there are a lot of very important character moments and epiphanies in Little Green Men for both Mulder and Scully, but i find in the end the moment that plays in my head most often and gives me all sorts of Feelings and Emotions is when they're running away from the military at the end and haring away in a stolen truck, and while Mulder's taking them crashing down the mountainside, he shoves Scully down on the seat beside him and she lets him. And he keeps trying to protect her head and neck with his hand. Which she also doesn't fight off.
It's just so much, so intimate, she went to collect her partner and found him passed out and recently probably delirious but she doesn't hesitate for a second to get in the truck and make their escape, blindly crunched down in the seat with his hand on the back of her neck as they speed through the hills, without protest.
my hand to God the episode where Mulder's ex-partner steals his notes and while his buddy is in the process of presenting Mulder's profile as his own and taking the credit and after like three sentences in the middle of the meeting Scully snaps her head round to Mulder because she knows. literally she's ON TO IT all outraged "THAT'S YOUR PROFILE!" literally completely unprompted I am telling you that is true love right there. I'd recognise your behavioral profile of a homicidal maniac anywhere anytime baby. Who was Chris Carter trying to fool anyway? smh.
