An Important (And Final) Message From Your Admin

First, read IDOLiSH7’s newest policy update regarding fancontent, translations, and more here.

And now, an important (and final) message from your admin:

I created this blog on August 22nd, 2015, 2 days after the game launched, when I was 18 years old; I’m 23 now, and I’ve been running it, by myself, for the past 4 ½ years, so it is with a heavy heart that I must tell you that it’s time for me to say goodbye to ioriku.

Starting today, this blog will be password protected on desktop. The password will be ioriku. Simple and easy to remember, right? (This change won’t affect Tumblr app users who will still be able access this blog like normal.)

I never imagined ioriku would come to an end like this.

In the past, there were many, many times that I had considered abandoning this blog because it began to feel like an obligation to me rather than a hobby like it initially started as, but then, every so often, I’d get a lovely anon in my inbox telling me about how helpful I’ve been to them, how I’m their favorite I7 blog, etc, and I’d think that all the instances I wanted to tear my hair out trying to make sense of Google Translate and/or Jisho and all the late nights I spent editing my theme’s code to make it look Just Right for my desktop viewers were worth it because of that one, single person.

This new policy isn’t anything “new”, I’ve always known that I’ve been operating in a gray area, but for my own safety and out of respect for Bamco’s wishes, I’ve decided to shut down this blog.

ioriku will always hold a special place in my heart. I’ve met so, sooo many incredible people all over the world because of it, and I’d go back and do it all again if I had the choice.

Thank you for these past 4 ½ years guys—all 1,740 of you. You’ve been wonderful to me 💙❤️💙❤️💙

IDOLiSH7 Content Usage Guidelines (EN translation, for reference only)

I am translating the full guidelines posted by the IDOLiSH7 management team on March 23, 2020, as a reference for all English-speaking fans.

As it is noted below, the translation is only for reference. In the case of disputes or claims, the original guidelines on the official site in Japanese will be followed. This is an unofficial translation and cannot be used as support for any violation.

According to this guide, I have removed all translations of full stories and RabiTVs from this blog. If you would like to see them again, please DM me privately.
