when i was 20 i hadn't transitioned yet but i had a dream where i died and saw my own spirit leave my body and my spirit had the form of a silhouette of a young girl in a sundress and even without any context i felt inherently that that was "me" and then i woke up. a very cisgender experience
#trans#the oldest dream i remember having was when i was about six or seven#in the dream i was myself. a little girl frolicking through pretty autumn woods admiring the scenery of the forest.#to my right there was this big sort of sheer cliff face with trees growing on top of it#as the dream continued the 'camera' panned out and i saw the cliff was kinda a wall dividing the autumn woods and a snowy winter forest#in the winter forest there was a boy with dark hair who looked a little older than me walking calmly on a path perpendicular to mine#at the end of the dream the cliff wall finally ended and the boy and i finally met in front of a giant golden portal type thing#we didn't say anything#but the little girl gestured to the portal and let the boy go through first#even when i was younger i had a sense the two kids were both me on some level#but it wasn't until i was older and figured myself out that i realized the boy looked exactly like a younger version of my transition goals#the universe likes to get really heavy-handed with the foreshadowing sometimes FDSZASDFG#i've never forgotten that dream tbh which is wild cause my memory is shit#but to this day i can still picture it vividly

The Republicans (after they're done with the faux-sadness and faux-outrage) will stomp over each other to be his successor but none of them will succeed. They'll tear each other apart and have no single nominee for the November elections.
There will be discourse about if Biden and the living former presidents should go to his funeral (they won't, he was a traitor insurrectionist)
The Ukraine-Russia War immediately goes in favor of Ukraine as morale in the Kremlin is reduced. China similarly backs off from its threats on Taiwan.
Ten thousand new memes are made, some sticking around for years to come.
Not a month later a bunch of unofficial biographies of Trump hit the bookshelves, many with new details about just how awful he was.

hey since it's coming up again: no it's not a good thing that the government wants to ban tiktok. no you should not be glad that the government might ban tiktok. no you should not respond to this with "good riddance" or "hurry up I hate that app". I should not have to explain this to you but the government banning a social media app is still a bad thing even if you don't like the UI or booktok or having to say "unalive" or how you think it's killing the very notion of attention spans. It's still bad. It's bad.
