What is MechaCon?

MECHACON ANIME CONVENTION

MechaCon was conceived as a revolutionary Anime convention experience, utilizing a unique three-fold approach focusing on Japanese animation, Japanese culture, and Transformers.

Now the largest, longest-running and most successful anime convention in Louisiana, MechaCon has adapted its overall theme to bring attendees to a 24th century setting aboard Crescent Station, a diplomatic outpost located in the outer solar system, between Jupiter and Saturn. The United Fleet and Marines provide an unforgettable weekend for attendees of all ages.

EVERYDAY HEROS

Our convention will be held on Saturday April 7,2018 from 12-6pm at the Russell County Conference Center in Lebanon, VA. Join us as we celebrate our community heroes – law enforcement – and the world of comic books, anime, science fiction and pop culture!!! We plan to have panels, vendors, gaming, food & lots of fun. Burnsville Wedding Expo 2018

Say I do in the mountains of beautiful Burnsville, NC. The Burnsville Wedding Expo is coming to the Town Center February 17th, 2018 from 11am-3pm!  Everyone is welcome to come see the wide variety of exhibitors and learn how they could help make a bride & grooms big day even more special. Meet and sample the offerings of talented vendors that could help with all aspects of weddings, receptions and other celebrations. There will be door prizes, raffles, goodie bags for the brides, free samples and much more! Admission $5. Big Boi Fly Fashion Show Saturday January 27, 2018 Doors 7 // Showtime 8 Tickets $15 // Door $20 http://bit.ly/2Erx8Jv Fashion Show & live music!!!  JOE GREENE DESIGNER Big Boi Fly is a fashion wave representing all different sizes of men from 2x to 6x. “Every time I look in a magazine, or look online for clothes, I see people advertising a big and tall section, but then they have a model in a large shirt and just say that the shirt goes to 4X. I never see how it looks on a 4X person. I want to see how the clothes look on me personally.” Joe Greene grew up in Asheville and attended Asheville High School. After surviving a tough adolescence, he worked hard to turn his life around and become a vocal champion for the local African-American community. He is an entrepreneur and has been involved in numerous community outreach programs in the city, including Asheville Goombay Festival, the Funny R’ Us comedy show and the My Daddy Taught Me That youth outreach program. He also recently became a member of the Civic Center Commission, a city-appointed group that makes recommendations for the management and use of the U.S. Cellular Center.
