A whole bunch of random extremely specific headcanons I have been thinking about forever for dating all the different dead poets~~~
Charlie
Hear me out
He’s the ‘tough’ one of the group
This is terrible but I think the dead poets made him tell Todd about Neil because no one else could bring themselves to. (I wanna write a fic about this so bad)
Charlie aggressively cares for all his friends
He needs someone to aggressively care for him
So when you guys are alone it takes time for him to lose his tough guy facade
But when he does he’s kind of a baby
Clinging to you
Wanting attention
Having someone to care for him is so foreign but he loves it and tries to care for you the same way.
You guys when you aren’t being all lovey and adorable are like partners.

Kent Headcannons
He most definitely craves physical touch and words of affirmation
Like since Divina is always telling him that certain things are his fault, he needs someone to comfort him and make him feel better :)
He gives killer hugs
If you're struggling with something or you're stressed, he'll immediately come up to you and just hug you and all the problems would disappear
He will do everything in his power to avoid doing his homework; cuddles, kisses etc.
You're aware how some people think that the sirens use their powers to their advantage, but you know that Kent wouldn't use them unless it was absolutely necessary
And he's thankful that you don't believe the other people
Even if you guys are dating, he'd still be hella nervous to ask you to the Rave'n
He'd bring you flowers for every date and would bring you new ones for when those ones die
If you're sick then he would drop everything immediately and run to look after you (and ofc vice versa)
However when he's sick, he becomes even more affectionate and adores being babied
When sitting and talking to your friends (most likely bianca and divina), he constantly just stares at you lovingly
If you catch him then he won't deny it, he'll just smile and kiss you gently
YOU CANNOT CONVINCE ME THAT HE DOESN'T SLOW DANCE WITH YOU
This boy will hear any slow song and immediately grab your hand and start dancing with you
He'd definitely use baby as a petname
Gives you his jacket or jumper if you were ever cold (no matter where you are)
In the show he's constantly displayed as clueless but I honestly think he's averagely smart in the studious way
He just lacks in the common sense department
Constantly lets you know that he loves you

📸 — It was the first time that Jericho put up Christmas lights and Mr. Galpin wanted to invite you and Tyler to dinner to celebrate it. Tyler's relationship with his dad got better since you started dating him. When Tyler told you that his relationship with his dad was shitty you decided not to intervene but it was really affecting Tyler and from what you saw, it was just pure a lack of communication between the two men.
You talked to Mr. Galpin without Tyler knowing and you explained how was Tyler and why it was so important for him to have his dad go with him to at least one session with Kinbott. Apparently, Mr. Galpin was quick to understand and empathize with Tyler, and that's how he ended up hugging his son with a smile on his face in a photo for you. Tyler was the happiest.
📸 — ¨Oh no, don't hide. You are so cute."
You woke up before Tyler did. You covered him with the blankets, making sure that he was warm enough to continue sleeping while you went to the kitchen to make breakfast. Then you lay in bed again with him and peppered his face with kisses, mumbling to him that breakfast was ready but he hummed in response and trapped you between his arms. "Just five more minutes." Tyler whined while you fought against his hold laughing and you managed to escape him. Defeated, he tried to hide using the blanket and the pillow.
📸 — "Okay, everyone look here!"
Tyler was the best boyfriend ever. Not only he prepared you a surprise birthday party but he also managed to get his father out of his house in enough time for him to bring ten outcasts into his place. He also made dinner for all of you.
All of your friends were there; Xavier was sitting next to your boyfriend. You didn't know how that happened but your heart jumped every time they shared words during the dinner. Next to Xavier was Enid who made sure that everyone attended to the party, and next to her was Yoko who sadly didn't make it in the photo.
Kent and Divina were at both sides of the table. Next to him was Ajax who didn't stop sharing glances with Enid during the whole dinner. Then there were Bianca and Wednesday who helped Tyler to lie to you about the party so it was a real surprise, and who surprisingly have become very good friends lately. Next to Wednesday was your childhood friend, Rowan.
Last but not least, you had Tyler by your side who made everything much better.
📸 — "Come on, pose for me. A photo won't hurt you."
Xavier huffed while you dragged him by his arm next to Tyler but your best friend did not put up much resistance. It was your birthday and Xavier knew that he had to do this for you. Tyler apologized a long ago to him, but still, the sheriff's son didn't give him much confidence. You knew that they'd be great friends, they just needed time.
Tyler threw his arm over Xavier's shoulder and Xavier tilted his head to one side, meaning that maybe it was too much. Tyler pressed his lips together and pointed at you with his head. Xavier rolled his eyes and also threw his arm over Tyler's shoulder.
Oh, the things Xavier did for you.

About: Xavier finds the song you wrote about him and insists on a personal concert.

Music had always been your solace in the world. Your songbook was your only confidant, and you would write constantly - song after song about whatever came to mind in the moment. But that was before you met Xavier.
Since getting together, you two were inseparable. You'd spend nights together in his art shed. While he paints or sketches on his tall easels, you'd hum and write songs in the corner. The music would come alive off the paper, notes swirling in the air as they played the tune. Being there, witnessing that, and just listening to something you're so passionate about, was one of Xavier's favorite past times.
It had become a sort of tradition for him. Whenever you stayed the night, he'd look through your songbook. You never hid anything from him, so you didn't mind his curiosity. But he enjoyed this time that he could look deeper into your private world. He'd even offer you his sketchbook. So there you'd sit, curled up against each other in bed, scanning over each other's work.
One night, Xavier flipped the page, and his heart flipped. Written at the top in boldened letters, surrounded by hearts, was 'Xavier's Song'.
"Sweetheart-" His voice is soft, looking down at the sheet music and running his fingers over it.
"Yes?" You poke your head up from behind his sketchbook.
"What's this one?" He turns the book towards you and your face flushes, heat rising into your cheeks.
"Oh, you weren't supposed to see that one." You complain, and he raises an eyebrow in response. "It was supposed to be a surprise. It isn't exactly done."
"Can I hear it?"
You put down his sketchbook and reach out for the book, sighing softly.
"Don't judge it too harshly. It isn't finished." You remind him, and he shifts so he's resting his head on your thighs, looking up at you.
"You know I won't, baby." He murmurs, and you know he's telling you the truth.
Your hand circles the music on the open page, and the notes start to come to life. They dance off the paper, and you throw your hand out, letting them fly around the room. Golden music notes fill the air and a soft melody begins to play. However, this melody sounds familiar to him - and he furrows his eyebrows in confusion.
Your clear your throat, a small smile growing on your face, and start to sing.
"You are...my fire. The one desire-" You break out into giggles and Xavier throws a pillow at your face.
"Ha-ha. Very funny." He pretends to pout, and you take his hand, squeezing it fondly before placing it on your songbook. The notes begin to surround you two now, gleaming and glittering in the darkness of his bedroom. "For real this time."
"For real." You assure him, your voice softer this time.
Your heart-rate begins to become unsteady, starting to race as your hand comes to cover his on the book. You start to hum a new set of notes, your voice melodic and captivating. The notes change around you to match the melody, and then the music swells on it's own, playing as a backtrack. Xavier watches you in awe, his eyes gentle, the glow of the notes playing in his green irises. You slowly start to sing, your voice shaking with emotion.
"I'm so lucky to know the thoughts inside your head,
Ones at times I wish you'd tell me;
But you make art instead.
Every curve and every color that lines every page,
Has every single part of you underneath."
You stop for a moment, and Xavier lets out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. His other hand that's not rooted on the book reaches out to stroke your cheek lovingly. You lean into his touch, kissing his palm before continuing with the rest of what you have written, this time more confident.
"You make me come alive like I'm one of your paintings;
Deep down I wish I was one of them,
So I could know what it's like to be made alive by you -
Once again."
The music starts to fade away, having reached all you've written so far. The notes in the air flicker and eventually disappear, leaving you two in the dim moonlight filtering in through his window. There's silence between you, as you move your hands and close the book. You swallow back your nervousness, starting to shake your head.
"Like I said, it's not finished--oh!" You're cut off by a scorching kiss from Xavier.
Yours are soft and pliant beneath his, and it's like he sucks the breath away from you. His hands cup your cheeks and when you pull away, you swear you can see the love in his eyes.
"Sweetheart.." His voice breaks and he shakes his head, struggling to get the words out. You lean forward and press your forehead against his, trying to respect the fact that he needs a moment. "I loved it. Every single word, every note. It's purely you. And I love you."
You grin then, your nerves falling away completely.
"I love you too, Xavier. So much."
"Your powers are as beautiful as you." He murmurs, pulling you against his chest.
"So are yours." You remind him, resting your cheek against his soft skin.
Xavier reaches for your songbook and opens it up again, flipping back to his song and running his fingers over the page.
"Will you sing it for me again when it's finished?" He requests, and you sigh happily against him, shutting your eyes.
"Of course. It's your song after all."
You reach for the songbook and toss it onto the end of the bed, it landing open on the same page. Waving your hand slightly, the melody starts playing again. The two of you slowly start to fall asleep to his song's soft notes.
Before you fall asleep completely, another lyric comes to you and you whisper it to his peaceful, dreaming form.
"Someone like you had so much love to give,
But so little given to you.
I promise, forever;
My love's reserved for you."
