Hearing White Europeans and Americans talk about foreign invaders is just too rich for our reality.

"This phenomenon probably contributes to women's continued under-representation on college faculties. Women have earned at least half of all bachelor's degrees in science and engineering fields since the late 1990s, according to the National Science Foundation, but as of 2013, they represent fewer than a quarter of university faculty members in those fields." Masculine culture is innately imperious. This article is more of a redundant joke, even if many (men) remain skeptic.

I love hearing men's opinion on women's reproductive health. Best of all, as expert (or not, as in climate change) men always find their opinion to take precedence.
Individualism is most fluid to males.
Hey conservatives, you want to lower the abortion rate? As Samhita explains, funding reproductive health care actually decreases abortions.

Our economic systems are making us lonely!
This is a shocker.
Social, economic, and political systems based from the original English colonies (ie, anglo saxsonism) has bred a culture of exclusivity.
It has bred self-centered individuals, disintegrating the common. It has made our economic systems work for the sake of the powerful, while simultaneously convincing everyone below to put all their physical, emotional, and financial efforts at somehow achieving the same. And it has given us a political climate where only those with access to white supremacy can fully benefit.
Isn’t it hilarious how in the area of hyper connectivity, the most sync the citizens of this world have ever been, yet we can not cease to celebrate our entitled ego, let alone relate to our peers near and far.

This is a truly fascinating graphic. At a glance you can ambition how individualistic ideas were exported from Europe, tracing colonial history around the globe. This could also serve as a sample of how many formal empires are now seeking to decolonize themselves and their economies.
The ranking measure for this map is unclear, but it is very telling on the global zeitgeist post Cold War.

I remember watching futuristic shows like Star Trek or stargate, seeing how wounds and medicine administered through an injection pen always seemed so efficient and cool, but nevertheless sci-fi. Think of the potential if injected medication is standardized for such administration. The uproar over the greed of pharmaceutical companies is slightly misguided. The price increase is not to the medicine itself, but the tool, the patented injection pen. Under a capitalist model, all means of consumption are commodified for monetary gain, not societal betterment.

The American cattle and beef industry was only able to emerge and thrive through the States’ imperialist ambitions for the land. The acquisition of Mexican territory provided not only the space to profit from (ecological, spatial imperialism), but also the knowledge: the American cowboy is a rudely appropriated ghost of the vaqueros inhabitants of the former Spanish Empire. The beef industry is intrinsically connected to the government and its formation in global politics. Cattle, however, is only one of many resources the government has invested in.

Who rules the world? America is no longer the obvious answer Still following Smith, it is also wise to attend to the “vile maxim” to which the “masters of mankind” are dedicated: “All for ourselves and nothing for other people” – a doctrine known otherwise as bitter and incessant class war, often one-sided, much to the detriment of the people of the home country and the world. Our economic model mimics the base of our societal values and their archaic ideations.
