W.R.L (Watch, Read, Listen) - Jan ‘16
I was inspired by Geek Bomb’s PWR (Play, Watch, Read) videos and decided to start blogging again. So for the fun of it, going to do monthly posts of what I’m currently watching, reading, listening over the last month.
WATCH
1. The Expanse
The claims that this is the next Galactica actually holds true. Not a lot of hand holding with this one, just jumps you straight into the show. Definitely my favorite of the 3 new SyFy shows that dropped this winter.
2. One Punch Man
Gave the “it” anime of the year a watch and did not disappoint. Mostly a parody of the superhero and shonen genres, yet still stand alone as its own thing. Sad only 12 episodes and more won’t come until the write finishes more of the manga.
3. Shameless
Shameless is off to a slow start for season 6, but still one of the better shows on the air this time of year. We are still following the up’s and down’s of the Gallagher clan and them messing with the topics of teen pregnancy, hipsters, and gun control.
READ (aka my comic pull list)
1. Extraordinary X-Men
Showing the X-Men books are only as good as who’s on the team. Of the 4 ongoings this one has been the best one. Highlight has definitely been how they worked in Old Man Logan and time displaced Jean Grey.
2. Vader Down
Marvel spent the last 6 issues of Star Wars and Darth Vader to remind us of just how much of a badass Darth Vader was. This story coming out around the time of the Force Awakens premiere also helped with adding to the Star Wars high of December.
3. Weirdworld
For some reason Marvel was doing Lord of the Rings fantasy comics back in the 70′s and it was called Weirdworld. Sam Humphries throws us back into that world except it is more twisted than it was before. In the same vein as the Deadpool comics it’s hilarious in that you have no idea what to expect next.
LISTEN
1. Chance the Rapper - Somewhere in Paradise
Chance is now my new favorite hip hop artist. And weirdly he hasn’t released a single album yet, just a bunch of “mixtapes”. This one is a preview of the next upcoming one.
2. Grimes - Kill V. Maim
Wasn’t following Grimes for the longest time. Art Angels dropped last year and it was in my top 3 albums of last year. She dropped this music video for the 6th track off it last week, fun listen.
3. Panic! at the Disco - Death of a Bachelor
Panic! at the Disco is now officially just the lead singer yet somehow he was able to release a whole new album last week. New album is very mixed which is good/bad, almost every song is a differnet genre. This one goes with the crooner Sinatra vibe mixed with a standard hip hop beat.
well that’s all I got for this month, until next time...

Hi Sam!
Thanks for taking the time to read this letter. As fellow YouTubers, we have much respect for others who put so much hard work into building their channel. It’s not easy, and you should be proud! That said, we’ve noticed that in your success, there has been a lack of respect in...
