The post got reblogged today so that prompted me it's about time. After all, my one and only Queen Nefertiti crossed the rainbow bridge on 01.06, so my brain doesn't want to stay home, even with Arya and Tyrion being the cuddly little demons they are. But before we start, let's admire NEFF for a minute.
I mean, doesn't she look like she's contemplating how to rule her great Empire.
So.
This is The Radiance (Сиянието). I think it's self-explanatory why we call her that. I know I shouldn't blaspheme my departed Queen, but The Radiance is a worthy opponent.
Well, except for being all cuddly and snuggly. I remember once I made a joke that she's NEFF without the orange and without the bitchiness. Even though that was just a joke and said in a loving way to NEFF, now that makes me sad.

It was excavated in the 70s and ever since its (partial) restoration has been used as a scene for concerts.
Basically Plovdiv is a time machine from Roman times through the middle ages to Ottoman rule and the Revival period, I love it so much.

hey fellow Europeans (EU), just a friendly and mildly concerned reminder that in less than a month, the European elections are taking place. it's an election with a historically low turnout, but one that is just as important as any other, if not more. the composition of the EU parliament determines the political direction of the EU, and has an impact on all 27 countries through directives and regulations that get voted.
we cannot let far right extremist parties get an even bigger stronghold there than they already do. sadly, there are very significant threats of exactly that happening from many countries.
so please, if you are an EU citizen living in the EU and are of voting age, check the modalities to vote in your country of residence, and make sure to make your voice heard.
