Got it! Couldn't resist!
I played Amanda Todhunter's video "an unhinged recap of Cinder" to listen to in the background at work, and now I'm so invested?
I know it's an older book (2011 if i'm not wrong), and I've heard about it before, but I always thought, that it was your typical fantasy-romantic-fairytale retelling of the early '10.
But it's a sci-fi? With cyborgs? With a populated moon? WHAT. Now I want to read it 🙃

can yall get off of halsey’s dick? Like for fucks sake every week it’s something new that her own fans are dragging her for and harassing them in their comment sections. Halsey is sick, like chronically ill and will probably never be fully well again so maybe calm down with the expectations and demands? Idk maybe realize she’s not just a puppet who pumps out albums and tours for you?

I have so many thoughts, none of them coherent, about Lucy and the Skull and Lockwood.
The Skull and Lockwood being foils of each other in Lucy's life. They're boys, vain and clever and desperate to appear charming, especially to Lucy. They both would rather be fighting with her than quiet with anyone else. They both, when it comes down to it, would rise above their every base instinct, would both be better for Lucy.
Lockwood being more vulnerable with Lucy than anyone else; the Skull literally only able to talk to Lucy. Lockwood wanting to die; the Skull wanting to live. Never knowing Skull's name, Lockwood never using his name.
Lucy letting go of Lockwood despite her instinct to trust him. Lucy refusing to let go of the Skull despite her instinct to distrust him. Her vicious protectiveness towards them both. Lockwood trying to separate Lucy from the Skull and the Skull trying to separate Lucy from Lockwood. Both of them hating the other as rivals for Lucy's attention.
The Skull being open about his horribleness to hide his care for Lucy; Lockwood being open about his care for Lucy to hide his flaws. The Skull claiming to lie and telling the truth; Lockwood claiming to tell the truth and lying. How at the end, Lockwood comes back to her and the Skull leaves her. The Skull dies for Lucy and Lockwood lives for her.

Halsey attacking either Capitol Records or Columbia Records or both labels. As we all know, the new single was supposed to have been released. All fans letters promotion has abruptly ended. Promotion in general stopped. It's rumored Halsey is still in the studio re-doing the songs. 🍷

My favorite thing about Lockwood is the fact that he tries so hard to be cool but he is literally an actual human disaster and sixteen, so whenever he makes a slick one liner he’s internally going “yessss that was SO cool, I nailed that” and then Lucy and George are cheering in the background because they also think he’s So cool. But Holly and Kipps both absolutely do not, because they are full legal adults so they’re like “oh my gosh the cringe rn, I can’t believe this is my boss”
