My mother has told me several times that I should be as good as my sister. My sister is 3 1/2 years younger than me. She is 11 now and my mom still tells me that I am not as good as she is almost weekly.

I once had another aunt say to my mom "I'm surprised she's not playing in her own hair, as a girl". This was while my mom was doing my hair for my grandma's church event. Yet another statement about how I'm doing everything wrong.

My aunt once told me "You're not getting married until you're 30. You have to finish your education", just like the rest of my family. I'm 16, this was months ago. I want my own family, and I will not let anyone tell me what to do with my future.

After being introduced to my family friend's new boyfriend at last year's Christmas party, my mom pulled me aside and whispered to me "Be sure you're super nice to her [our family friend]'s boyfriend. She hasn't had sex in ten years so let's not screw this up for her."

My mother has made me ashamed of my body my entire life and when forced to go shopping with her I am never allowed to buy shorts because they are "too short." I'm 'curvy' and don't feel okay with my body, but feel better when I can show the only part of my body i don't feel bad about, my legs, I can't. I'm constantly hearing her make comments about other girls looking slutty, even with they're not.

I also once had another girl verbally abuse me for 17 years while treating my brother like a king. That one was my grandmother.

I once had one girl, who I was friends with, tell me a LOT of things: "You have no reason to be depressed, grow up." "You're a bad friend because you won't come over when I want you to." "Your girlfriend looks like Yogi Bear." I'm glad I'm not in CA.

I once had a woman tell me I brought being bullied on myself (my middle school teacher). I am currently in grad school and my chief tormentor is currently serving life without parole for murdering a man... Hmm.

I once asked my mom what my stretch marks meant. I was a little overweight at the time. She said it meant I was fat. I was 12.

I once had a girl tell me that my girlfriend was an evil little bitch who only cares about herself. It was her own mother. We later found out that she had been stealing money from my girl's savings account to buy alcohol.

My last day of class, after I handed in my final, my professor told me, "I'll be sure to make sure that you didn't cheat. Niggers always cheat." I can't say how appalled I was that my female teacher would say anything like that. When I reported it, they couldn't do anything because I was the only one who heard it.

When my mother found my MLP figures (I only had Rainbow Dash and Derpy) she screamed at me about how she was not gonna let this "gay shit" in her house and how she "didn't raise a fag".

Back when I was not out as FtoM transgendered, I had a crush on this guy (I am gay), I wanted to ask him out, but a girl told me that only pathetic, desperate girls asked out boys, I was afraid to ask him out for a while because of this, but I'm glad I got over it and did anyway, because we've been together for 3 years

To All My American Followers
I know this is very off topic from my usual submissions, I would encourage my followers to watch the documentary Hot Coffee, as it deals with some very dark and troubling matters in regards to your rights to the civil court. I will warn you now, one of the stories deals with the gang-rape of a woman, so it could be triggering for some.
If you're wondering where the title comes from, its referring to the case involving the woman who was severely burned by coffee served at McDonalds (burned badly enough to require skin grafts). A story, that when you know the facts, is really not as it's perceived.
Hot Coffee is currently on Netflix.

Hi, I'm the anon who sent you the story about my mom telling me I wouldn't get laid via brownies. Thanks for posting it, and i know it's been awhile, but I did notice you tagged it under "bad parents." I'm a little uncomfortable with it because my mom isn't a bad parent and she said it as a joke. I suppose I can see how it can be taken the wrong way, but do mind changing it? Thanks. :)
Sorry this took so long, Nony. I had no computer (my SO took it while he was out of town) so I haven't changed it. I'm on my way to change it right now though. Thank you for the clarification. :)
