Erm, what the scallop!? Worldbuilding!?!?!?
So yeah. I felt inspired one day so I felt like working on the actual worldbuilding for this,, well,,,world. And I had a cool-sounding idea: what if Santa/the elves/reindeer/whoever else all live up in the sky?? And I imagine they're shut off from the world, so...they have giant domes keeping them from the outside world?
And THEN I realized: oh my god that's basically a snowglobe. They live in giant snowglobes. My brain has never felt so damn huge,
^^This was literally just me scribbling stuff down to get ideas so there's not a lot of details yet lol.
THIS is some concepts of Rudolph's house. Not a lot to say here other than Drawing Hard sometimes. Nowwww here's some more concept stuff!!
I had ANOTHER cool idea: what if all the globes look like a snowflake from above/below?? So I did this rushed 3D model thing to see how it'd look. This doesn't represent the final design for these weird island/globe/whatever things at all lmao, it was just somethin to help me visualize.
I haven't developed this idea any further just yet but I definitely intend to!!!

More stuff, hooray! This time we got ourselves a comic...WIP. Yeahhh, I'm not sure if I'll finish this ever? But I'm proud of what I've done so far so I figured I should just share it. The story here was that Holly and Rudolph were planning a party for Braxus! They're just...a little weird about it,
Oh and: WHAT is Braxus talking about?? The world may never know.
Didn't even finish with putting all the dialog, goddamn😭. But this was my first real attempt at making a comic with these guys so it was good practice still :D

Ah damn we ain't been here in a while, huh? Welp, time to get everybody caught up on my silly deers. I guess I'll start with these!
Sooo, I aim to make a comic with these guys. And of course that'd mean drawing consistent designs. So I tried making some model sheet stuff. HEAVILY inspired by the Centaurworld model sheets if you've seen those lol-
Welp, let's start with our boy! Rudy :D!! He still has antlers I just didn't draw them here lmao,

And now some hoofies. Wanted to practice drawing them in this toonier style I'm going for.

I have no idea WHAT kind of design I should give Krampus, but I do draw Santa from time to time!!

At first I was giving him a happy sweet attitude, but then I got the idea of ‘what if he’s actually really stressed out by his work, so he got really stern over time??’. He’s still nice, he wouldn’t be doing all this Christmas stuff if he wasn’t!! He’s just Very Tired
Idk if I’ll keep that though. I might change it again, who knows. I just thought it was an interesting idea

Oh damn I didn’t post this either wth- These are Fireball’s step siblings: Ash, Cinder, and Soot!! They’re triplets. Ash is he/him, Cinder she/her, and Soot….tbh I never actually chose specific pronouns so ig it’s any for them😭😭
The thing about Soot is that they’re a fucking weirdo. He just kinda climbs through people’s chimneys. The others do too but not NEARLY as much. That’s not even his fully accurate fur color. Like it’s still black/grey, but some of it is just soot. From crawling in people’s chimneys. Love her. Fucking weird ass
Rudolph is kinda scared of him I think

Feel like I should make a few posts explaining my Epic Santa Lore™, so I figured I’d start out with Rudy’s friends (in my own version-)
So first we have: Holly!! She’s one his his close friends, and pretty grumpy. She still loves all her friends though!! Also, her and Rudy are both trans. Since female reindeer keep their antlers in December, she wears fake ones. Rudolph isn’t as self conscious about his own antlers.
Then: Orion!! Orion is Comet’s little brother and another one of Rudy’s close friends!! He’s really cheery and nice, and really loves astronomy. He can be kinda clueless sometimes about other things, though…pure of heart, dumb of ass. TYPICALLY he has the Orion constellation on his flank but. Sometimes I just don’t feel like drawing it-
Now we got: Luna!! She’s Comet and Orion’s sister. I don’t draw her as much as the others but she’s still there. Also her and Holly might have something going on. And it’s extremely obvious to everyone else but them. Who knows.
Next up is: Fireball…the boy!! Name is borrowed from the Rankin/Bass Rudolph, but honestly he’s not that similar to him in terms of personality; my version is more like Ronno from Bambi II (he gets better, though). He’s pretty new so I don’t have a solid design for him yet. Actually Luna doesn't have one either lmao- Also, him and Holly are worsties.
And lastly: Braxus!! In my version of Rudolph, I had this idea of Rudy running away when he was younger and getting lost. This leads to him collapsing on the ground and a yeti finding him. This yeti is Braxus (yes I got that name from the owl house-). In the time Rudolph is lost, he and Braxus get really close with each other; basically like brothers.
