i just wanna say that jaskier only looks that much shorter than geralt bc he's not sitting on the saddle and also sometimes artists misjudge their proportions and have to make up excuses for it

“Beautiful,” Jaskier mutters. “The most beautiful thing in the world, you are.”
Roach agrees, her hair braided up with flowers. She bumps Jaskier gently.
“Yes, you are! Beautiful hair too!” Jaskier finishes another braid. “Long and smooth, best for braids! Isn’t it right, Geralt?”
“Hmm.”
Jaskier frowns. Geralt isn’t one to be stingy with compliments when it’s Roach, but he’s strangely reluctant to praise her today.
“Bad mood, huh? Never mind.”
Jaskier pouts as Geralt grows more annoyed. He’s even untied his hair, now flipping it around, right next to Roach.
Grouchy witcher, Jaskier thinks, can’t even appreciate beautiful hair.
