I am now rewatching the second season of heartbreak high

It’s so over for me

Okay, so I just watched season 2 of Heartbreak High. If you told me a year ago that Spider would be my favourite character, I'd have called you a liar. But seeing him now, I think I'm starting to love him a bit. Spoilers ahead of this.

Him and Missy are not something I was expecting, but I absolutely love them together - like that episode where she goes to his house was perfect! Also, HE'S FRENCH?!?!? uhm? DADDY?!?!

Seriously though, we learn so much more about him, and we also have his personality in far more depth. When he goes to see Jojo for help in becoming better, you can see the shock on her face when she sees his intelligence pop through a little bit at the analogy comment. She genuinely seems surprised that he understands what that is. During that scene, it occurred to me that the majority of the students and staff alike probably don't realise that Spider is actually relatively smart. They only see him as the dumb, misogynistic, jock - which, don't get me wrong, is the way he shows himself to them, but is frankly not correct at all. If Heartbreak High is renewed for a 3rd season, I would most definitely like to see more people realise there is more to Spencer White than they think.
