Just found this super rough sketch of Alex Trebek. I was lucky to be able to draw him for a tie in we had with the Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show and Jeopardy of all things. This was the mustache version. My uncle was a contestant on Jeopardy and so was my classmate. I feel like that show has ALWAYS been around. In Big Hero 6 I’d like to think I had a bunch to do with the character Fred. Here’s a see through view of Fred in his Kaiju costume. In the original comic...this character actually had a “super power” that allowed him to turn into a Kaiju. Concept-wise, I bumped on it. It didn’t make sense that he was the only team member to have a legit power. So, being a fan for years of Rand Boden’s Kaiju Big Battel... I thought, what if Fred was one of those crazy bastards.. 😂 A kind of “backyard pyro” that would make a Kaiju costume with weapons. I gave him jumping stilts so he could do flips and awesome parkour style moves. And flamethrowers. He was also Latino.
