I've started reading "The day of the fallen night" by Samantha Shannon

And it's a book I had been looking forward to since it came out

But the polish translation is SO BAD that I genuinely couldn't finish it. It's awful. It's incorrect. It's so literal it hurts to read because it doesn't follow basic rules of polish literature.

I'm so disappointed because I remember enjoying "The priory of the orange tree" when I was younger and I love Shannon's portrayal of women

But it's a dnf until I get my sanity back
