Blog recording whether or not Quetzalcoatl or Kukulkan have done anything wrong. Home of my selfship: RexCoat and RexAlkan. also welcome place for any and all other selfshippers!
are all feathered serpents really just carbon copies of each other in your eyes
Well, no. I wouldn't enjoy them nearly as much if so! Or, I wouldn't enjoy the ones following the original.
I'm not sure if you mean the actual Gods or if you mean the 2 in FGO, but I'll elaborate on the Fate ones for now. If you did mean the actual gods, lemme know.
Kuku, compared to Quetz, is still very young feeling, being somewhat naive at times. She's still kinda figuring herself out, it feels like.
She's also, at times, more blatant about her feelings towards the master. In the birthday line, Kuku full on invites the master on a date, she's ready to blow a hole in chaldea because she thinks the room is too small. Quetz can also be interpreted as having feelings for master, but it's more evident in Babylonia and her bond 5 line. Otherwise she tries to have more decorum about herself.
There's also the appearances. Obviously they look mostly the same, the main exception being Kuku's shining crystal hair. There's also the clothing style, tho I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out Quetz's modern fashion was similar to Kuku's first ascension. Also Kuku is canonically shorter then Quetz.
Thats all I have for now, I might come back to this another time tho.
I'm still mad that Lost Tapes portrayed Quetzalcoatl as a mindless bloodthirsty serpent monster when he is actually a nice god. I wonder how would Fate Quetz reacted to this?
I do feel like she wouldn't like it much, either. But I also think she'd take it in stride. I think she'd shift her view and just say that it's not really meant to be her. It's so far removed that she can just separate it from other depictions of herself.
