what the fuck is a consistent light source? the shading goes where i SAY it goes

the youtube "stop drawing like this" community doesn't want you to know this but you can shade however you want forever btw. it doesn't have to make sense in fact you should actively be pissing people off with how inaccurate your light source is

alternatively, writers writing the plot vs writers doing world building that will never come up in the actual story

sadly while I am aroace my name is Valentine and I adore the aesthetic of pinks and hearts... I am not immune....

everytime i hear allos saying being aroace is sad i think of how there's a whole day made to just suck all of their money up

small rant, but being disabled and chronically ill sucks. it just does. I feel like I SHOULD be fine. I'm 20. I should be exercising, eating whatever, working... but I can't really. My body gets so exhausted and shaky, I collapse often, my digestion is so sensitive to SO MANY foods, I'm dehydrated 24/7, and the soul deep fatigue I feel means oftentimes the most I can do for the day is get myself water and snacks. it just... it sucks. it truly does.

I want to feel physically strong, independent, and functional again, but I never will to the extent I could before my health was taken.

You define and interpret your own experiences. There isn't always a right or wrong answer to these things, sometimes it's just what makes sense and works best for you.

okay so. i just started reading and it has my attention! as a reader and as a writer myself. I'm enjoying it so far. that prolouge was sohoho NEAT

I just finished my first round of editing on my story. I'm now printing it to go through and revise with sticky notes and pen (I have a LOT I wanna add), and I'm so excited. The book is about a FTM aroace character (he's aplatonic too, but I didn't explicitly put that word in because I myself am not out to more than 3 people as Apl. might add the word in later who knows) and I want it ready for publishing by the end of the year. If anyone is interested in reading the first few chapters, let me know! I can share them (but keep in mind, this is only the 2nd draft and a lot may be subject to change)
