Cable Channel Cartoon I would like to see.
I would really like to see Dana Terrace and Alex Hirsh take on this project but really any alumni of Gravity Falls and The Owl House would be great.
Set in Emerald, Wisconsin: “Teenage Warlocks and the Magic Pony Apocalypse”. Both the writers and the characters use “Way of the Horned God” by Dancing Rabbit; “The Ozark Mountain Spellbook” by Brandon Weston; and “Spirit Walking” by Evelyn Rysdyk. Writers and artists will take turns reading to each other from “The Oz Books” by L. Frank Baum; “The New English Bible with Apocrypha” by Oxford and “Wisconsin Folklore” by James P. Leary, once per week while the other writers listen with their eyes closed imagining themselves as the protagonists in the story. Cast and crew may join in later as the series progresses. It’s okay to spend most or all of the first season foreshadowing the magic pony invasion. Each season of the show is to be 26 episodes long. The series is portable and can be moved from one cable channel to another. The magic pony invasion lasts for 13 years from 2025 to 2038. Don’t rush the conclusion. It’s okay for the boys to grow up and mentor younger teenagers. I’m thinking a group of five boys. It’s okay to start with just three and add more as the story progresses.
Options: 1. One of the boys asks why Michelangelo’s Moses has horns. An older relative blames St. Jerome’s translation of the bible and points out that if he had been consistent Jesus would have had horns after meeting with Moses and Elijah on the mountain in Michael 17. The boys start praying to Jesus of the two horns.
2. One of the boys overhears an older relative talking about the book “When God had a Wife” by Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince. The boys start praying to Mary Magdalene Avatar of Wisdom.
3. As a homage to “Stranger Things” have the boys play “Ponyfinder” by Silver Games LLC.
4. Make one of the boys Trans. Transitioning from girl to boy. Hire a writer who has undergone the process themselves.
5. Make one of the boys Muslim. Hire a Muslim writer. If you go for the Muslim option include Surat’s from the Koran in with chapters from the Bible, etc. For example: Wisconsin Folklore; Genesis Chapter one; “the Wizard of OZ” Chapter one; 1Esdras chapter one; 1st Surat.
Options can be added in or dropped as the story progresses.

Another beginner’s Ritual for Paganism/Wicca.
Check the mythology section of your local library, or college library. Choose a god and a goddess whose stories appeal to you to start with. They don't have to be from the same culture, eclecticism is fine. You can add more deities later. Prepare a tray with a cup of something to drink and a plate with some bread or pastry to eat. If all you've got is Dr. Pepper and an Oreo cookie that's fine. Here's a basic ritual you can do. If you have a roommate and you don't want them to interfere sit still, close your eyes, and do the ritual in your imagination.
Face North, draw an invoking pentagram, (that's were you start at the top) imagining a live of blue-white fire. Recite the following while drawing: "I call upon the lords of the watchtower of the North, guardians and gatekeepers of Earth, Winter, Night, and the New Moon. Be with me now and bless me this day."
Move to the East drawing a line of blue-white fire as you go. Face East and draw another invoking pentagram. Recite the following while drawing: "I call upon the lords of the watchtower of the East, guardians and gatekeepers of Water, Spring, Dawn and the Waxing Moon. Be with me now and bless me this day."
Move to the South drawing a line of blue-white fire as you go. Face South and draw another invoking pentagram. Recite the following: "I call upon the lords of the watchtower of the South, guardians and gatekeepers of Air, Summer, Day and the Full Moon. Be with me now and bless me this day."
Move to the West drawing a line of blue-white fire as you go. Face West and draw another invoking pentagram. Recite the following: " I call upon the lords of the watchtower of the West, guardians and gatekeepers of Fire, Autumn, Dusk, and the Waning Moon. Be with me now and bless me this day."
Move to the North drawing a line of blue-white fire as you go and complete the circle.
Face East and say: "I call upon (Divine Name A) and (Divine Name B). I offer you this (food) and (drink). I gave so that you may give." As you gain more experience you will add seasonal rituals at this point.
Face North and move West, erasing the circle of fire as you go. Face West and draw a banishing pentagram, (that starts in the lower left corner) erasing the line of fire as you go. Recite the following: "I thank you lords of the watchtower of the West for your presence and your power. Merry met, and merry part, and merry meet again."
Move to the South erasing the circle of fire as you go. Face South and draw a banishing pentagram. Recite the following: "I thank you lords of the watchtower of the South for your presence and your power. Merry met, and merry part, and merry meet again."
Move to the East erasing the circle of fire as you go. Face East and draw a banishing pentagram. Recite the following: "I thank you lords of the watchtower of the East for your presence and your power. Merry met, and merry part, and merry meet again."
Move to the North erasing the circle of fire as you go. Face North and draw a banishing pentagram. Recite the following: "I thank you lords of the watchtower of the North for your presence and your power. Merry met and merry part, and merry meet again."
Turn to the East and raise your arms like a referee signaling a touchdown. Recite the following: "Thank you, (Divine Name B) and (Divine Name A) for your presence and your power. Merry met, and merry part, and merry meet again. The circle is open, but remains unbroken."
Touch the ground and recite the following: "I return all excess energy to the land, promoting love, friendship and community throughout my hometown and the surrounding area."
Eat and drink the offerings you prepared and receive your gods' blessings.
This is a very basic ritual. As you read books, serf the internet and dream you will receive prompts on expanding upon this rudimentary outline.

Right to Privacy
Like many people I am upset about the recent Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade. Not so much about abortion per se as their rejection of the Right to Privacy interpretation of the 14th amendment. I ask that you and your colleges draft a constitutional amendment guaranteeing the Right to Privacy. Given the nature of the current court I think it will be necessary to enumerate the rights protected by the Right to Privacy:
!. Right to an abortion; 2. Right to contraception; 3. Right to sexual intercourse between consenting individuals over the age of consent, regardless of gender.; 4. Right to same sex marriage; 5. Right to choose one's gender identity; 6. Right to interracial marriage.
I wrote the above to my congressman and my senators and reposted on Facebook and Twitter. If anyone out there agrees with me that we need a constitutional amendment to guarantee our right to privacy please write your congressman and senators and let them know you feel the same way.
In "The New Revelations" on page 62 Neale Donald Walsch writes: "You keep trying to solve the world's problems as if it were a political problem, or an economic problem, or even a military problem, and it is none of these. It is a spiritual problem." Okay, so how do we confront the spiritual roots of conservativism? How do we nurture the spiritual roots of the right to privacy? What is the spiritual action plan for this situation?

Thoughts on Transgender articles
The Richmond Times-Dispatch published articles on transgender youth and transgender policy Nov. 21, 2021. I found these to be interesting and thought provoking, especially in light of the Book Ban Blues column by Michael Paul Williams in the Nov. 17, 2021 issue of the paper.
I think perhaps a set of guidelines for presenting transgender and non-binary people in the media is in order. I do not however have any faith in government issued guidelines. Government officials seem way to inclined to bend to the will of whoever whines and moans the most, especially if the whining and moaning is accompanied with lots of money. I would prefer a set of guidelines that comes from the artists, writers, musicians and performers within the entertainment industry itself.
I would like to make use of the 40 day prayer practice outlined by Mike Batterson in his "Draw the Circle" book. Pray for 40 days in groups of 3 or more. Take note of any responses you think your getting be they dreams, coincidences or bursts of imagination. Participants start sharing their responses with other members of their group beginning on day 21. I would prefer lots of groups participating throughout the United States establishing a national standard with regional variations. We are a big country after all and I am deeply suspicious of the one size fits all approach to the arts and humanities.
For the transgender and non-binary community I propose the following prayer: "No woman shall wear an article of men's clothing, nor shall a man put on woman's dress; for those who do these things are abominable to the lord God. Deuteronomy 22:5; So God created man is his own image; in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27. Heavenly Father in Jesus name we pray help us to craft a set of guidelines for presenting trans and non-binary characters in the media consistent with our national covenant: We hold these truths to be self- evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. I would also like to see a standard for Boys Love presentation in U.S. media. Same 40 day prayer approach, just say: "I grieve for you, Jonathan my brother; dear and delightful you were to me; your love for me was wonderful, surpassing the love of women. 2 Samuel 1:26; Jesus looked straight at him, his heart wormed to him, and he said, 'One Thing you lack; go sell everything you have, and give to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven; and come, follow me! Mark 10:21. Of course if we are doing boys love we will also need industry guidelines for the love between women. Again a 40 day prayer period and say: "She gave her maid her liberty. Judith 16:23; So she kept close to his girls, gleaning with them till the end of both barley and wheat harvest; but she lived with her mother-in-law. Ruth 7:23. Moving on to the bisexual community try: "Jonathan pledged himself afresh to David because of his love for him, for he loved him as himself. 1 Samuel 20:17; So he sent messengers to fetch her, and when she came to him, he had intercourse with her, though she was still being purified after her period, and then she went home. 2 Samuel 11: 4. And finally close it out with the Asexual community: "To the unmarried and to widows I say this: it is a good thing if they stay as I am myself; but if they cannot control themselves, they should marry. 1 Corinthians 7:8; Reason is not the extirpate of the passions, but their antagonist. 4 Maccabees 2:6. Despite the obviously Christian nature of these prayers I hope that members of other faith groups in the entertainment industry; Jewish, Atheist. Hindu, Muslim, Pagan, Buddhist, Scientologist, etcetera, will also participate and add their viewpoints. Yes, you read that right I do count Atheist as a faith group and I admit to being mildly curious as to what examples from sociology, psychology, history and philosophy they will bring to the table.
I like to think that we already have heterosexual relationships covered, but in case some people want guidelines for straight couples as well try this: "That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and the two become one flesh. Genesis 2:24; Then the Lord God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I will provide a partner for him.' Genesis 2:18. I suspect that artists will create and post online throughout the 40 day period. I doubt that interested parties will exclude themselves from participating just because they are not part of the entertainment industry. If your interested in the subject and have 2 or more friends or family members who will show up for the whole 40 days of prayer, go for it.
