After years of waiting and wondering, our alliums have bloomed. I don't know what made them bloom, I don't know why they didn't bloom in previous years.

Morden blush rose. It's in full bloom. Covered with roses.

I'm learning that dirt is very important when it comes to planting and seeding. All my plants prefer not to be put in just potting soil and not to be put in just topsoil. They like a nice mix of things, some potting soil, some topsoil, some compost or worm castings.
