Hello!
Happy Webcomic day!
I'm okenki and i've been posting webcomics since the early 2010s! I make a lot of short comics, but my big ongoing project is goth boyrfriends!
"(wanabe) goth in your area!?"
I started posting it mid 2021, but started the first page in september 2020!
I'm currently on chapter 43! My chapters are 6 pages long + cover, making it easy for me to focus and wrap up things without being carried away! : O
I love webcomics, especially for their accessibility! Anyone can make them, anyone can read them!
Some things about making goth boyfriends!
Here are all the pages (used or not) and art directly linked to the webcomic project (not just OCs art or AUs, really just about this) I made since!
Some more are scattered across sketchbooks but most of them are consigned there!
And here's the "essentials" sleeve that i bring with me everywhere, it contains everything with current art and pages, and two copy books about comics ideas and related writings! and some blank pages for me to be able to keep creating everywhere/on the go!
I circled with a LOT of mediums/tools to make goth boyfriends!

Hello, Hello, friends!
Here is an end of year planning for Goth Boyfriends!
September: It will resumes its updates! Even though the month after is busy, i did not want to leave you without updates for too long!
October: I will take part in an October challenge (i don't know yet which one(s?)) and also the 25h comic challenge, and preparing for a convention in France early November! As i will be very busy I am 90% sure the comic will take a hiatus again. Sorry! ; _ ;
November: after the con, the comic will resume! I am not sure about the frequencies of the updates, but it will be back!
December: The uploads should continue as usual, as December will be a cool down month for me (so far at least! I really hope!)Ii will take very little time off for the end of year.
I hope it clarifies things up! sorry for taking so many hiatus while having a huge buffer, I'm just so nervous aaaaaaaa, I will also try to settle on an update schedule, so if you see me experiment during this period, please don't mind too much!
I've also been redrawing some upcoming chapters, so if the style is even more inconsistent, i am very sorry, i had to not redraw some chapters else i would have been stuck in an endless redraw circle… I knew the dangers because at first i wanted to redraw only 2 chapters and not it's 6 or 7… <_< Anyway, no more redrawing after that, except maybe, if i print an omnibus one day, a dream…
I hope you all have been doing ok? Here it is very hot and it's hard to work… I hope I can keep up… I've been feeling a bit better, so yeah! that's good at least!

I'm taking a small break because IRL is kicking my ass and also my health has been… questionable… so i will rest a bit and work at my own pace. I'm feeling like I'm king of settling on a "style" for this comic, so experimentations will be a little less wild starting chapter… 42 lol and some of the 30s i've redrawn recently.
I'm tabling at a con in france in november so i also have a lot in my hands aaaaa
i'm so scared haha aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa but i will keep doing my best!

I'm currently working on my 293878th queer story, "Goth Boyfriends", that you can read on comicfury! for freeeeee!! And the updates resumed this week! yeppy!!
Goth Boyfriends is full of queer characters who are wannabe goth exploring life! it's mostly focused on slice of life and mediocre humor, but it has a dash of all kind of romance!
