Why does everyone hate the new Gossip Girl? As an insanely obsessed fan of the OG I actually love the reboot. It's so different and has it's own problematicness to it which is a gossip girl theme and it's still realistic to today's time and generation. Moreover it's different. It's different from other shows on TV and from the OG. I am glad they didnt try to feed us a Walmart version of the OG. This show is a completely different show. People hate it because apparently there's not enough drama? But like lowkey there is, for example, is Audrey actually rich? And if not, why is she part of the rich group? Why does Obie hate his parents company? Do Max and Audrey have a past and that's why Akie said she's allowed to think of him? The fuck did little Z do in her old school? Why is the teacher so hateful? What is wrong with Julien and why is she so obsessed with her IG followers. Are monet and luna actually good friends? The group is so divided which is one thing I strongly dislike but I feel like it will get better. I love that the fashion is edgy and not all just big brands. It's how the rich Gen z dress up. So yea, please make it make sense, why do people hate the show?
