Oh man! This one is so hard for me lol. I keep going back and forth. Both are so amazing and I loved both when I heard them for the first time. The talent obviously but the pain and anger and just everything they were feeling you can feel in their performances. I don't know who I'll end up picking lol.

Well good luck! It really is such a tough choice. Both show off such incredible talent. But I really will be happy either way. My two faves singing two of my fave songs from the whole show... It just can't go wrong <3

When you think about it, both Blaine and Kurt have already won. as has been established by them, a win for one of them is a win for both of them <3 but also, they both love seeing the other succeed so really, they would want the other to win.

Oh they would 100% vote for each other and that's what I loveee. So proud of our boys for making it this far. And for being so loving and supportive of each other lol. They're the best <3

(homosandhomies) it’s honestly so awesome to me that rose’s turn and cough syrup are the top 2 because of how powerful they are separately. rose’s turn is about a depressed gay teen who wants to form a connection with his father because he feels like he’ll never be enough. cough syrup is about ANOTHER depressed gay teen who is attempting suicide.

both of these numbers handle such intense subjects delicately and perfectly, which just goes to show how impactful glee has been. glee had its flop moments, but these 2 storylines represent the best parts of that show. isn’t that incredible?

Yeah I really am so happy about this finale. Both songs mean a lot to me and I know they mean a lot to a ton of other people as well. And I mean I can't really act surprised that people think I somehow rigged the polls, no matter how crazy the idea is alkjfdlks, bc this is literally the dream finale for me. My two favorite characters singing possibly my two favorite solos of theirs (they both have so many incredible numbers it's hard to narrow it down to just one tbh) going head to head and still getting so much love on both sides. It's beautiful lol

I am sorry that you are getting hate for the final poll. It's ridiculous and cruel and undeserving. You don't have to do these polls and I thank you for doing them. I had voted for RHI/SLY and bummed some it lost BUT it's not that deep and it's not okay to send hate about it and it's not okay to accuse someone of hating women because of it. People like what they do and don't like what they don't and that's okay! And fyi I do really like Cough Syrup and I think Blaine was amazing in it and I had voted for it in an earlier poll. And if RHI/SLY had to lose to one at least it was that one! I haven't interacted with you before because I'm pretty shy but I just had to say something. To be honest, I didn't even care about this poll b/c I feel neutral to both songs. However seeing the Blaine antis so pressed that people dare like him and think he is talented has made me root for cough syrup to win. And the whole complaining about people hating women or sapphics is so dumb. Sorry some of us don't automatically stan characters or ships because we have the same gender or orientation. As a queer latina, I appreciate Santana's story but that doesn't mean I have to stan her for that or like her canon relationship. Kurt and Blaine making it into the finals just makes statistical sense though? If you look at the basic breakdowns of characters and ships on AO3 they're always the top. They're closely followed by Brittana, but then all but 2 of the other top ships includes at least one of them. Like, obviously the whole fandoms opinions matter and make the polling interesting, but Klaine just have a statistical lead on everyone else that can't be waved off.

I'm still very surprised the cough syrup vs rumor has it poll is this close. I fully expected rumor has it to sweep the whole thing because it's just one of the most iconic songs in the entire show.

i dont know why blaine antis in particular get the shock of their life and resort to anon hate every time they're confronted with the fact that not everyone on the planet hates the same character as them lmao. and i dont know why they have to come to me to complain but here we are asgkjlkds
