the first time i saw you i told myself, you’re the one. holding onto you tightly– not wanting to let go of you, as i pulled you closer, you whispered to my ear ‘i love you..’ those words melted inside me but the next thing you told me tore me into several pieces leaving me broken. ’..but i can only love you as my best friend’ it hurt me a lot, but that doesn’t change what i felt towards you. as much as it hurts being with you, telling me all your thoughts and fantasies about the girl that you want to be with, i ask myself sometimes, why not me? maybe we’re just destined to be best friends– nothing less, nothing more. i know i can reach you but only i can admire you.

what’s the point of loving someone else who can’t love you back because you know that all he can give you is love, love being his friend. what’s the point of sending him sweet cheesy morning and night messages ——— what’s the point of making effort when for him it’s nothing. what’s the point of being there for him when he needed you and him not being there for you. what’s the point of staying by his side when clearly he has been dropping hints that he wants you nowhere near him. what’s the point? the point is that you love him and you want to fight for him. girl i salute you, girls nowadays give up so easily because of these situations. but damn you blew me away, give up isn’t in your vocabulary. give up for you doesn’t exist and neither does stop. you go girl, continue what you’re doing because someday he will realize that he didn’t see your worth. he was blinded by the others that he didn’t realize that you’re already there for him. you were his happy pill, it takes time, love takes time. don’t rush it you’re still young, you will experience more and always remember your worth.
