Percy tells me about Bianca...

"you promised you would protect her!" I screamed. After Percy and the rest arrived back at camp I ran up to the big house to ask him about Bianca. He went on a walk with me and told me the truth...

My head was spinning, that couldn't be real, I was just starting to accept the fact that I would barely see her and then...I would never see her again. "She wanted you to have this" Percy pulled a Mysthomagic figure out of his jacket. I grabbed it and starred at it. I couldn't believe it. It was Hades...the only one I didn't had. Percy talked about Bianca, how she sacrificed herself. I didn't really listen, just one thought was in my mind. My new hero, my game brought to life, lied to me and let my only family die. I smashed the figure while I screamed even louder "I shouldn't have trusted you!" I gasped, the air felt so thin. I remembered all the weird and terrifying nightmares I had since I got here. "You lied to me!!! My nightmares were right!" Percy made a helpless step towards me while he asked "What nightmares?" "I hate you!" I screamed I started to shake, my eyes were filled with tears. He said something about that she may be alive and then I felt it. Deep down inside me  for a blink I saw her standing in the fields of Asphodel in front of her, the judges.

"She is dead-" I blinked one more time but the image was gone. "I should've known it earlier. She is standing before the judges right now being evaluated! I can feel it" I did. I felt every bit of it. Her soul, leaving this side of the world even more.

"What do you mean you can feel it?" Percy asked. Then everything escalated, skeleton warriors attacked us. Percy told me to get help. For a stupid reason I thought he was trying to kill me. I started to scream and cover my ears and stomped. The ground opened up and sucked the skeletons in. I cried even more.

Percy asked me something again. My feelings went wild. I was angry, sad, exhausted, scared and alone. "Go away!!! I hate you! I wish you were dead" I yelped while I was running into the forest. I didn't ran long, I stumbled and fell. Deep down into a hole....Everything went black

My nightmares seemed to

be getting worse after Percy left to look for for Annabeth and help the others. I often dreamed about a junkyard. A massive junkyard where thousands of things laid, things from all possible centuries. I also dreamed about ghosts, which were whispering my name. Well, nightmares alone are horrible, but having them in an overfilled Hermes cabin, where you are so close to eachother that you hear them breathe or even better, loudly snore....let me just say my chronicle tiredness probably started then. But It wasn't all bad, most of the kids there were very kind and funny, Connor even played Mysthomagic with me. He tried to teach me Poker but I wasn't interested in losing money which I didn't have. I remember how I hoped that my godly parent would reveal themselves so I could join my new family, just like Bianca did with the Hunters. But I knew, even if I would meet new siblings, no one could replace her.

"Where did you come from?" I asked Percy who seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. "I've been here the whole time. Invisible." He said, he showed me Annabeth's cap. I mouthed a "Wooow. cool" I hoped he wouldn't hear it. I want to be a calm and chilled guy so he would like me more. But he seemed to not care. "How did you know Zoë and your sister were here?" I blushed. "I heard them walk by the Hermes cabin I don't...I don't sleep too well at camp.  So I heard footsteps and them whispering. And so I kind of followed" I answered confusedly. "And now you're thinking about following them on the quest" He guessed. "How did you know..?" I asked.

He told me that if it was his sister, he would also go after her, but that I would be too young for such a dangerous quest. Even though I agreed or still do...(I think no child should ever be forced to do something so dangerous) I still wanted to watch out for Bianca.

"Maybe you're right. But...but you can go for me." I said. I knew he would go anyway. He tried to argue with me, that the Hunters didn't like boys and what if they found out etc. I told him that I knew that he wanted to go anyway.

"Yeah," he finally said, "I have to find Annabeth. I have to help, even if they don't want me to."

I smirked. "I  won't tell on you!" I swore, "But you have to promise me to keep my sister safe."

"I...that's a big thing to promise, Nico, on a trip like this. Besides, she's got Zoë, Grover and Thalia-"

"Promise." I insisted

"I'll do my best. I promise that" he said. (Spoiler warning, I'm not sure if that was really his "best" but yeah...)

"Get going, then. Good luck" I said.

The sky started to get brighter while Percy put on Annabeth’s cap. "Tell Chiron-" "I'll make something up. I'm good at that. Go on" I smiled crookedly while I watched his foot prints in the snow, getting further away. A little later I pretended to get woken up by Bianca, to tell me goodbye and that she loved me and stuff like that... I was jealous and sad... I hugged her, let her kiss my forehead. If I just knew what I know now...

(Saying goodbye to Bianca)

"Do we get to kill the other team?" I asked Percy while I had a hard time to hold my sword it was just to heavy. "Well...no" Percy answered. "But the Hunters are immortal, right?" I asked. "That's only if they don't fall in a battle. Besides- " I didn't let him finish. "It would be awesome if we just, like, resurrected as soon as we were killed, so we could keep fighting, and-"

This time Percy interrupted me. "Nico. This is serious. Real swords. These can hurt." My smile faded. Then he patted my shoulder and said in a softer voice. "Hey it's cool. Just follow the team. Stay out of Zoë's way. We'll have a blast". I smiled again while Chiron's hoof thundered on the pavilion floor. He explained the rules. As soon as the game started I was on guard duty with Charlie Beckendorf and the Stolls. Oh yeah and Percy was also there before he decided to make a solo trip and steal the flag by himself (great idea) I know i cheered him on back then but- I was young and naive.

After we hilariously lost the game for the 56th time and Percy and Thalia started to smash each others head in, something horrifying happened. The old oracle mummy shuffeled through the forest until she stood in the center of our group. Green mist curled around our feet. The voice was inside my head it sounded old-fashioned but also ominous, my whole body freezed.

Zoë asked bravely "What must I do to help my goddess"

The Oracle spoke:

"Five shall go west to the goddess in chains,

One shall be lost in the land without rain,

The bane of Olympus shows the trail,

Campers and Hunters combined prevail,

The Titan's curse must one withstand,

And one shall perish by parent's hand"

"Apollo is hot" Thalia muttered. "He's the sun god" Percy said. "That's not what I meant" Thalia replied. That was the first time I met Apollo. He was bright, charming and a little narcissistic but also kind. Maybe a little bit too kind. He asked Thalia to drive us to Camp Half-blood, I sat next to her and Percy in the front. Bianca was with the Hunters in the back. I asked Apollo why he was the sun god and not Helios. He explained something about downsizing and that the Romans started it. To be honest, I was so excited, I couldn't sit still and actually understand anything. After that I asked if this car is really the sun, Apollo also tried to explain that, after he ruffled my hair. Yeah, still don't get it till this day. Something about the sun is a star and this chariot is built out of human dreams of the sun. Like, okayyy?

But yeah maybe my memory is a little blurry, because a few minutes later Thalia drove and almost killed us 5 to 6 times? Before we crash landed in the lake.

I will never forget my first look at Camp. It was stunning, the most beautiful place I could've ever imagine. I asked about the lava climbing wall, shortly before the hunters left. Bianca whispered into my ear that I should stay with Percy and the others, while she would go with the hunters. She promised me to explain everything later, but I already knew that she left me for her new girlfriends...

"Big collection" Percy said after the hunters brought me my backpack with all my Mysthomagic figurines. I grinned. "I've got almost all of them plus their holographic cards! Well, except from a few really rare ones" Percy asked me for how long I was playing the game. Just a year I said. I stopped, realised that I couldn't remember anything before that year, just blinks like the smile of my mother, the taste of a birthday cake but I was so overhelmed I didn't think more about it. Instead I asked Percy a bunch of questions. If I could see his sword, if it ever run out of ink, (saved his life later. So your welcome Perc) If he can surf well, because he is a son of Poseidon. And then I asked if Annabeth's mother was Athena, the goddess of wisdom and why she didn't know better than to fall of a cliff. Percy's face turned kind of red and looked at me really angrily. But it didn't stop me to ask if she is his girlfriend, I obviously had no other thoughts behind that question. I saw his hand slowly playing with his sword-pen, he might've killed me for that question but Zoë came and asked him to come along.

"You are a half-blood" Zoë said. I remember that she had an accent, it sounded old-fashioned. "One of thy parents was mortal. The other an Olympian"

"An Olympian...athlete?" My sister asked. "No" Zoë moaned "One of the gods."

"Cool!" I screamed.

"No. This is not cool!" Bianca's voice quavered.

But I was already dancing and shaking my arms, I was so excited. I asked a bunch of questions. Like, if Zeus really had a lightning bolt that does six hundred damage. But Bianca interrupted me. Told me to shut up and that it wouldn't be my "stupid" Mysthomagic game, that there are no gods. It started a small conversation about the dangerous and scary life of a demigod. You know all the stuff,q you already know and probably have lived through it by the time you read this. They also started to explain that Bianca and I would need training, which we could only get in Camp Half-blood but Zoë interrupted again and told us that there would be another option. She didn't explain it there, but Artemis asked Bianca if she could have her for a few minutes while she let Grover play some Mysthomagic with me. If I would've known, what Artemis was going to do..I...I...I don't know what exactly I would've done. Scream? Stop her? Tell Bianca how much I need and love her?

"Don't talk to my sister that way!" I said to Dr. Thorn after he called Bianca an insufferable girl. He's lead us out of the gym, away from the dancing and laughing kids. We went through something like a magic door and then we were standing on a cliff, it was snowing. Dr. Thorn called someone, Luke, as I know now. After a short word fight. Percy tried to attack him, he stepped in front of us, holding up his sword. He was like my favourite game, Mysthomagic, brought to life. I couldn't stop staring on him, even though Bianca tried to put me behind her back. But the son of Poseidon was to beautiful to look away. His sword was glowing, every muscle in Percy's body was strained, his dark hair waved in the freezing cold wind. Some snowflakes fell on Percy's eyelashes and he looked so perfect I thought I'd have to die. Well, then everything went kind of wrong. Annabeth pushed all of us into the snow while she was wearing her invisible hat. Grover and Thalia tried to attack Dr. Thorn from behind. It escalate into a huge fight. I can't remember all the details. (don't blame me. I was 10 and full of sweets from the prom) But I remember how Dr. Thron turned into a manticore and I said something like "he's got three thousand attack power and plus five to saving throw" which probably helped just EVERYONE in this situation. Then the forest lesbians- I mean the hunters of Artemis arrived and saved us and Annabeth threw herself off of the cliff together with Thorn the manticore. (probably to practice for a another cliff jump she would do in a few years with percy🤷🏻‍♂️)

"My name's Percy" The boy with the dark hair said. His beautiful green eyes were focused on Bianca and I. "I'm going to take you out of here, get you somewhere safe" I was so confused. Bianca and I played Mysthomagic when Percy Jackson entered our school and tried to "save" us, together with Grover, Thalia and Annabeth. At first I was so overhelmed by his cool look that I started smiling like the stupid little kid I was. If I just knew what I know now...Bianca's eyes widened. She wasn't afraid of Percy. Dr Thorn stood behind him. But he looked so weird. Threw the magic mist he looked like a man with a strange tail and with that tail he smashed Percy against the wall next to us.

If I knew it all, then would I do it again...?
