Making a neck from scratch is not easy. Make sure your bandsaw table is square to the blade!
When I want to mock-up the geometry of the strings, tailpiece and tuners, I already have a template from the first prototype's bridge!

Handmade neck -- correct width from version 0.1 fingerboard design.
Poplar wood body; v0.1 was leftover redwood -- not quite 3/4" thick.

Fingerboard is Shapeways glass-filled Nylon for better stiffness
Flat body, flattened bridge feet, better body strength
Tuner alignment to strings modeled in 3D CAD
More accurate drilling of tuner mounting holes
Transducer upgrade
Fender Stratocaster-styled output jack mounting
Recessed/coaxial hinge mounting (2)
Upgraded/engraved wiring covers on the back
Upgraded ball joint for better, stronger stability
Upgraded paddle, retrofitted to version 0.1
Upgraded paddle chain, planned-for in advance
