Digital art: SWIPE for high quality and galaxy painting…. my bedroom in space… there’s something so comforting about just drawing in the middle of the night, in a world of darkness. Maybe I’m the only one, but my parents always get so mad when they see I’m not asleep at midnight. I had so so much fun doing this , though it took way too much work. I had to paint a galaxy, sketch my fantasy room, color it using digital apps like photoshop and auto desk sketchbook… and it was done. My favorite part was doing the led lights in her room … so so cute. Honestly this might have been one of the hardest things I’ve drew originally. Can’t believe I forgot about it until now. Happy Thursday! Emotional wellness poster due tomorrow! Swipe for the creepy version:/ Technically this was a health class project that was supposed to be a “fake“ Instagram post. Oh well. I’ve drawn a few drawings to recognize and spread awareness of emotional wellness. Emotional wellness is one dimension of wellness, specifically the capacity to manage one’s emotions, while realistically viewing limitations, developing autonomy, coping with stress, and adapting to change/difficult times in one’s life. Goals of this dimension include optimism, self-love, and self-acceptance. Especially in uncertain times of Covids-19 pandemic and the aftermath of this crisis, emotional wellbeing is especially important, as you don’t really know what to expect. There are many ways to care for your emotional wellbeing, and your ability to cope with life, including engaging in a passion, which can help you find purpose and meaning, taking your mind off of any stress that you may be having. Using any of these strategies (and more), emotional wellbeing could be improved. People could find the light in their dark times and find strength in their emotions to continue to a brighter future. Another purple pen scribble drawing. I accidentally made a new character! Her name is Ophelia because for some reason she strikes me as a depressed orphan living in a creepy orphanage, you know, the epitome of modern horror culture. Epitome is a nice word. Anyways, I have a bad feeling today is going to be a bad day, a disappointing day, a terrible no good hopeless kind of day- but maybe that’s just me. Some people might be having the time of their lives right now, and others may be suffering like poor Ophelia here. She reminds me of a worn out rag doll. At least I could tell my parents I was studying, but let’s be honest: this was excessive. Well I guess we all have to live with that, don’t we? I honestly liked the photosynthesis model better that this one , likely because that one had a more designed color scheme, and this is literally a mess of navy blue and pastels, but what color would actually go with cellular respiration? I know it’s a bit late but I’ve been super busy with school work and the like. This was a really relaxing illustration to make. All hail the funguses! Or fungi! I might be wrong but I think the ink cap disintegrates into black goo , which is siper cool but also kind of sad. Inky will die soon:(. And yet she looks so happy.
