Today is the day we celebrate the best weapons mistress ever’s birthday! Even if she is one of the most underrated kunoichies of the Naruto series, she will still always be one of the bests out there with her amazing talent and wonderful personality. No matter how powerful the enemies, she takes them on night and day with no fear. Being the main support of her team, this girl has such a great mindset, funny, but wise and feet on the ground when it comes down to business, she’s a badass in her own way.

The DailyRebelCaptain 2020 BigBang is an opportunity for fandom creators to work together in a long-fic project!
What is a Big Bang?
A Big Bang is a special kind of ficathon event in which authors sign-up to write long stories by a certain date and are paired up with fanartists/visual content creators who make accompanying artwork and/or edits for their stories.
We have set two word-goal options:
♡ 5,000-10,000 words for the LittleBang
♡ 11,000-40,000 words for the BigBang
What is Allowed for the DailyRebelCaptain 2020 BigBang:
⟡ Every single idea under the sun! You don’t have to stick to in-universe stories —crossovers, fusions, and alternate universes are all allowed. Do you want to write a medieval fantasy AU? Excellent, please do! Want to have Jyn and Cassian as superheroes a la Marvel or DC? Go ahead! You’ve always wanted to write a rom-com movie inspired story? Now’s the time to go for it! The sky’s the limit!
⟡ Secondary pairings and relationships are also allowed, as long as the primary pairing is Cassian and Jyn’s. You can include as many side pairings and/or relationships as you want.

Yesterday I found out that the official Star Wars account on Spotify had playlists for a bunch of main characters (spoiler: 99% of the songs are not accurate and Poe doesn’t have one which is a crime) and
Ophelia by The Lumineers was in Cassian’s and at first I wasn’t feeling it for him and Jyn but when I looked up the lyrics I saw those lines and the hopeless romantic in me went feral
So that, fueled by the fact that I watched Rogue One today and fuckin’ wept, I did this up to honour the love they could’ve had~ also I only did a super quick google search for the flower meanings sorry if they’re not accurate

no but really, like
i know that some folks love telling creative people that “you should be doing it for fun because you love it not for the compliments” but creative people thrive on feedback whether it’s critical or just complimentary
so when i write fanfiction and don’t get any actual feedback i feel like i spent all that time and energy doing it for nothing because i’m not getting feedback from the people i wrote it for
doing something you’re proud of and then presenting it to the sound of utter silence is like the worst feeling on earth
