The letter Coulson left Daisy on her bed (since we didn’t get to see it)
5 years ago, I met this girl during one of my missions. She was really young and kind of annoying. She had a lot of nerve, she was smug, she hacked shield’s data and interfere with my mission.
I had no idea back then, how deep she’d go into my heart.
Place herself in there, without asking, effortlessly, permanently.
That she would break every wall and every rule on the way there.
She isn’t an easy soldier, she barely listens to me, she’s reckless, she always says what’s on her mind, and she knows exactly how to stand her ground. And as much as it could be a pain in the ass sometimes, it is also part of what made me appreciate her so much.
Oh, and don’t get me started on her heart.
She makes you understand what people mean when they say ‘a heart made of gold’. She would do anything for the people she cares about, and she will find compassion and sources of light in the darkest of times.
You have been through so much, Daisy, but you braved everything out, every little thing. You’ve changed, you got your powers and had to deal with the difficult consequences, you found your parents and lost them again, you lost a love.
But you came out stronger every time, and most importantly, kinder. You hold the power of destruction in you, but instead of ruins, you leave a trail of life and hope everywhere you go. Despite what you’ve been through, you choose to do good, time and time again.
I want you to always remember, that like I tried to prove you countless times, you are so much stronger than you think, and you are capable of anything you’d choose to do.
I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to know you and be a part of your life. I can only hope I could give you just a little bit of the feeling of belonging that you wanted and deserved.
You did so much for me, for the team, and for this world. And I know you already saved the world, but I have no doubt in my mind that it’s just the beginning. That you will do so many more great things, and the world hasn’t seen nothing yet.
Words cannot explain how proud I am of you and your journey.
Don’t you ever lose that spark of joy and optimism that makes you the wonderful person that you are, and don’t ever, ever, stop believing in yourself.
I love you, be strong.

I know a few companies are making the switch to biodegradable straws but it’s still not enough. Something needs to change and we need to make it happen!
