as a small notice, page updates MAY be choppy in the prologue! i'm aiming to upload a page every wednesday, but i'm currently going through sudden real world emergencies (a lot of debt fell on me suddenly and im around $500 in the hole :'< ) so i am prioritizing getting commissions and emergency adopts done first ! i do have a small buffer so hopefully i won't eat into pages , but just in case, some updates may be late or missed while i balance this !!

yoooooo that cover art is so cool!!!! also apparently i subscribed to toxicology webcomic page's RSS feed and forgot about it?? which is great bc I probably would've forgotten to look for an RSS feed to subscribe to if i hadn't gdjsgkdfjbhh. i love getting direct alerts about webcomic updates instead of having to check a bunch of websites and/or just plain forgetting about webcomics I like for months at a time <3

FHFBDSFD IM GLAD IT WORKED OUT (i have no idea how RSS feeds work >w> ) but also SAME, i have a bad habit of forgetting to check on webcomics im following and then being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of updates i need to catch up on LMAOOO xwx

so!! been putting my thoughts in order!

first of all. foxglove no longer has a ponytail. he has a mullet as the almighty intended amen

second of all ! ive been back and forth on a lot of things , especially regarding art, as of late. primaveral was stressing me out for a multitude of reasons, the other forms of toxicology were stressing me out because i was trying to go at them too professionally. truth be told ive been in and out of treatments right now for some severe mental health troubles, and i havent been enjoying art for a very long time

what i'd like to do is start working on toxicology again but less as a professional personal project, and more what it used to be: an amateur hobby ! season change in its earliest form was so extremely fun for me, and toxicology is still deeply important to me & the one thing i constantly go back to once i have the energy again. i think my plan atm is to start working on toxicology itself and just treat it on my own terms / energy levels. this does mean that updates would be inconsistent (probably batches of a few pages and then a bit in between), the style itself would be experimental and awkward at times, etc etc, it wouldnt be polished itd very much be rough but something for fun to try and find the joy in drawing again. this is just a longwinded ramble to say that if (hopefully when) toxicology comes back, itll be very rough, but i appreciate everyone who has stayed this far and still looks forward to updates on my silly silly cat story<33
