“Are you mad at me?” Effie asked, placing her hands on her hips.
Haymitch’s eyes remained closed, but his eyebrow twitched at the sound of her voice. “Currently a little annoyed you just interrupted my nap,” he droned.
“Well, I’m a little annoyed that you’ve been avoiding me like the plague!”
“I’m recovering from my own plague, princess,” he said. “And I’d appreciate it if you’d let me sleep so I can continue to recover.”
As promised, here's an extra Tuesday chapter to make up for the lack of action in the last one and this one. But don't you worry. We're about to start heating things up. ;) We're about to enter my favorite section of the fic. WOO!
