Can I tell you how amazing this man is? After the first few months, I've tried to avoid to much social media mush. However, I'm taking exception today. We are both going thru heavy stress: work, school, family, friends, life. In the middle of all the chaos, he lives out God's grace in my life. He changed the oil (& filter) this past weekend (thus this photo). There are so many things he does, big & little, to show his love for me. This has already been a frustrating day, completely due to my own insufficiency. Praise God! For forgiveness; for new starts; that He can still use me as His daughter when I falter & fail. "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." [Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8-10‬ ESV] But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” ... "Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong." ([2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9-10‬ ESV] This is me, not telling you for pity, or asking for compliments or a "you're not that bad!", but solely to point to God- He is GOOD! He does all things well! He is the Light of the Morning, the beauty of our weakness! Praise God!
