it saddens me how predatory and scammy practitioners can be, here on tumblr but especially on tik tok, which has made me wary of posting my tarot readings online. i think it’s irresponsible to prey on audiences who are susceptible to culty concepts like “twin flames” and a lot of manifestation content out there. especially since many of you seem so young, i hope anybody who comes across my blog or work recognizes tarot as a tool rather than unequivocal truth.

I have been on a bit of a hiatus however I will be slowly coming back; and with new content.
I’ve been on a journey in my Craft, and sometimes that means just being in it and not being immersed online as much.
I’ve had a great shift in my Path and I would like to begin to share that soon. Likely not until the beginning of next month, however that’s not far away!

We need to stop using white sage. As in, full stop, the end.
I'm serious. It's endangered. The indigenous people who need it for ritual, ceremonial, and medicinal purposes are starting to have a hard time with it.
There are so many alternatives. There are types of sage that aren't white sage.
I think we, collectively, as non native Americans, need to just stop getting white sage, period.

Someone was asking what fly wings symbolize and what it means to find them, but they described termite wings to a T, so I said hey that sounds like termite wings, so you may want to get that checked out.

To newbies: if someone claims that their belief or experience is just how it is, test it (unless it’s like dangerous, could bring you harm or might be illegal). Do it yourself. See if they might just be full of shit.

Sorry not sorry but I wish more newbies were willing to put in the work to actually learn about witchcraft rather than asking everyone to spoon feed them every little tidbit of information.
Do you think your spell work and Craft will be successful if you aren’t even willing to put in the work to learn about witchcraft/magic? Because I really don’t think you’ll find much success or joy in the Craft if you aren’t willing to put in the work. I’ve seen it happen first hand, too.
If you need help learning how to research, that’s one thing! I know that a lot of people aren’t taught how to research things. But please, you need to stop asking more experienced witches to spoon feed you every drop of information out there! There’s so much to witchcraft and more is developing all the time, it’s impossible to really be like “start here!”. It depends on what you want to be involved in, how you want to go about developing your own Craft, forming your own beliefs and opinions.
Some of us have topics we do consider starting points or the foundation that should make up anyone’s Craft, but that’s all just opinion. We all got different ones. There really aren’t solid ways to go about practicing witchcraft. If you need assistance in learning how to research; ask!
