Hi everyone!
I know it’s been quite awhile since I’ve updated my stories but I just wanted to let you know that I have not stopped writing them; I’m just on a hiatus.
I’m currently rewriting/editing my Teen Wolf story on Wattpad so it is in third person rather than first. Once I finish rewriting that I will start posting again on here.
Unfortunately I’m not sure how long that will be but hopefully sooner rather than later.
As of now, I’m planning on keeping the story on here the same but if you’d prefer me to post the edited version please let me know!

We Are Grounders Pt. 2
Hello all! Finally the last part of season 1! Constructive criticism is always appreciated. If you want to be added to the taglist let me know. Also let me know if I missed any warnings.
Season 1; Episode 13 Pairings: OC x OC best friends, no love interests yet Warnings: Death, war Word Count: 2,503
Elara and Clarke sat beside each other working on stopping Raven's bleeding. Finn, Bellamy, and Nova stood around them. Raven screams in pain as the two girls work. Finally she stops, "That should stop the external bleeding." Clarke says.
"I don't understand. How did Murphy get a gun?" Finn asks the group.
"Long story." Bellamy quickly answers.
"We got lucky. If Murphy hit the fuel tank instead of me, we'd all be dead." Raven says.
"Wait, there's rocket fuel down there? Enough to build a bomb?" Clarke asks.
"Enough to build 100 bombs. If we had any gunpowder left."
"Let's get back to the reapers. Maybe they'll help us. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, right?" Bellamy asks.
"Not this enemy." Clarke quickly denies.
Nova opens her mouth to ask another question about them but Finn shakes his head, "We saw them. Trust me, it's not an option." He then looks at Clarke and Elara, "Can she walk or not?"
"Definitely not. We need to carry her." Elara replies.
"The hell you will. I'm good to go." Raven says, trying to shove her way to her feet.
"No." Elara scolds, "The bullet is still inside of you. If you move too much it will cause a bigger issue."
"Elara's right. If by some miracle, there's no internal bleeding, it might hold until we get somewhere safe. So no walking, is that clear?" Clarke says.
"I'll get the stretcher." Finn says as he begins to walk away.
"Can't run away fast enough, huh? Real brave." Bellamy antagonizes.
"Dying in a fight you can't win isn't brave, Bellamy. It's stupid."
"Spoken like every coward who's ever run from a fight."
"All right, that's enough. It's time to go." Clarke says, stopping the arguing.
"If they follow? It's a 120 mile walk to the ocean."
"Look, we're wasting time. If he wants to stay, he can stay." Finn says.
"No he can't! We can't do this without you, Bell. So complain all you want but there's no way you're staying behind." Elara says, fire in her eyes as she looks up at the older boy.
"What do you guys want me to say?" Bellamy asks.
"I want you to say that you're with us. Those kids out there, they listen to you." Clarke answers.
"They're lining up to go. They listen to you and Nova more."
"It was two against one, plus we gave them an easy choice." Nova replies.
Clarke continues, "5 minutes ago, they were willing to fight and die for you. You inspire them. I'm afraid we're gonna need that again before this day is through."
The group quickly starts through the front gates, "Okay, here we go! Keep your eyes open!" Atlas calls out, gun in hand.
Clarke, Nova, and Bellamy stand behind the rest of the group. They turn to look at the camp one last time, "You did good here, Bellamy." Clarke says.
"18 dead." Bellamy states.
"82 alive. You did good."
"We all did." Nova adds. "We couldn't have done it without each other and we'll do it again at the next place."
The group talks as they walk with each other, keeping their eyes out for any signs of danger.
Nova and Elara stay towards the end of the group, not bothering to talk with each other but rather taking comfort in the other's presence. "What is it?" Jasper calls out.
"Why are we stopping?" Raven asks from her stretcher.
"I don't know. I don't see anything." Finn replies.
Then, out of seemingly nowhere, a spear flies into Drew's chest, killing him instantly. "Move, move, move!" Bellamy calls out, ushering the group back into the camp.
"Shut the gates! Shut the gates!" Finn calls to the last people to enter.
The delinquents move into place to try and find the Grounders. "Where are they? Why aren't they attacking?" Bellamy questions.
"Because we're doing exactly what they wanted us to do." Clarke answers.
"What do you mean?" Nova asks.
"Lincoln said the scouts would be the first to arrive."
Octavia quickly replies, "If it's just scouts, we can fight our way out. That's what Lincoln would do."
"We're done doing what that Grounder would do." Bellamy snaps, "We tried it and now Drew is dead, you want to be next?"
"That Grounder saved our lives." Finn says, "I agree with Octavia. For all we know, there's one scout out there."
"One scout with insanely good aim." Jasper replies.
"I doubt it would just be one. The Grounders are smart, we can't underestimate them." Nova pauses, "If I can just find them, I could probably take them out from here."
"We can still do this." Octavia says.
"Looking to you, Princess. What's it gonna be? Run and get picked off out in the open, or stand and fight back?" Bellamy asks.
"Clarke, if we're still here when Tristan gets here..." Finn trails off.
"Lincoln said scouts. More than one. He said, 'get home before the scouts arrive.' Finn, they're already here." Clarke then turns to Bellamy, "Looks like you've got your fight."
"Ok then." Bellamy nods then turns to address the rest of the group, "This is what we've been preparing for. Kill them before they kill us. Gunners, to your posts. Use the tunnels to get in and out. From now on, the gate stays closed."
The delinquents start to move. Octavia tries to run by, "Whoa, whoa, whoa. You're not a gunner." Bellamy tries to stop his sister.
"No. I'm not. Like you said... I'm a Grounder." She replies.
Bellamy nods, allowing her to continue. Nova runs after her with both her bow and a gun. Clarke turns to Bellamy, "So, how the hell do we do this?"
"We've got 25 rifles with 20 rounds each, give or take. Roughly 500 rounds of ammo. While you two were gone, we made some improvements. Thanks to Raven, the gully is mined." Bellamy answers.
"Partially mined." Raven corrects. "Thanks to Murphy."
"Still, it's the main route in. If the Grounders use it, we'll know. She also built grenades." Bellamy says, showing the grenade stash.
"It's not many." Clarke says.
"Again, thank you, Murphy." Raven replies.
"We'll make them count. If the Grounders make it through the front gate, guns and grenades should force them back." Bellamy states.
"And then?" Clarke questions.
"Then we close the door and pray." Raven bluntly says.
"And pray what? That the ship keeps them out? Because it won't." Clarke states.
"Then let's not let them get through the gate." Bellamy then gets on a radio, "All foxholes, listen up. Keep your eyes and ears open. Inflict casualties, as many as possible. You can hold them off long enough to make them turn back. That's the plan."
Finn rolls his eyes, "That's always your plan, just like the bomb at the bridge."
"Damn right. You got a better idea?"
"Don't argue right now, we need to work together." Elara says.
"It can't be that simple. You said there's fuel in those rockets, right? Enough to build 100 bombs?" Clarke asks Raven.
"I also said we've got no gunpowder left." Raven answers.
"I don't want to build a bomb. I want to blast off."
"Draw them in close. Fire the rockets. A ring of fire."
"Barbecued Grounders. I like it." Bellamy says.
"Will it work?" Finn questions.
"You give me enough time, I'll cook them real good." Raven replies with a smile.
 *_*_*_*_*_*
Bellamy looks towards Elara, "You're sticking with me. If anything happens to you, I'm not going to be worried about the Grounders. Nova will have my head."
Elara laughs, "Yeah, you're not wrong. Honestly, I think I'd rather take on a Grounder than an angry Nova."
"Honestly, me too. She's terrifying." Bellamy answers. "But you better not tell her I said that."
"Hmm, no promises." Elara smirks.
The two make their way towards Miller. "Where's Octavia?" Bellamy questions, wondering where his sister went.
"And Nova?" Elara asks, not noticing her either.
"They both left 5 minutes ago. Didn't say where to. They think they're damn samurai." Miller answers, eyes still trained outside.
"You see anything?" Bellamy asks.
"No. What the hell are they waiting for?" Monroe questions, wanting to get this fight over with.
"The longer they wait, the better. This is about buying time for Raven."
Before anyone can answer, Sterling is heard over the radio, "I see them. They're moving! I count 2, 3, no wait, there's more. I don't know, man. There's too many of them."
Then there was gunfire. "Was that Sterling? South foxhole. South foxhole, report now." Bellamy calls over the radio.
"Yeah, yeah. We're ok. They didn't attack. It's like... It's like shooting at ghosts." Sterling says.
More gunfire is heard as more Grounders are spotted. Bellamy is heard over the radio, "Stop! Stop. Hold your fire! Reload. Now." He then says to the group with him, "Those were our last clips."
"We should fall back." Monroe says, scared of what's to come.
"No. If this position falls, they'll walk right to the front door." Bellamy replies.
Then Jasper is heard over the radio, "They're everywhere! Harper, get down! We need backup! Raven, our mines actually worked!"
Clarke replies, "Jasper, we need you in the dropship right now."
"Negative." Bellamy states, "We can't give up the west woods."
"The west woods are mined, Bellamy." Clarke says, "The Grounders just figured that out. Jasper, get in here."
"I see one! There!" Harper yells out.
"Wait! Stop!" Nova calls through the radio. "They're drawing our fire. They want us to run out of Ammo. All gunners, listen up. The Grounders are not attacking. They're making us waste bullets. Don't shoot when they're running laterally."
"Nova's right." Bellamy replies, "Don't fire until you're sure it's an attack. Repeat, do not fire until you are sure."
Not too long after Bellamy's comment, the Grounders began to attack. Nova took aim and stayed down in the foxhole, taking out Grounder's one by one until she was out of ammo.
Elara on the other hand stayed behind Bellamy not using her bow and arrow until he ran out of Ammo. "I'm out." Bellamy states.
Elara immediately began aiming her bow at Grounders. Running by and pulling the bow back out when she took a kill shot. Nova, too, has deposited her gun and moved on to her bow.
One after another bodies fell to the ground, both enemy and friend. Elara slowly took the chance to retreat knowing she'd be better off treating the  wounded who made their way away from the fighting.
Nova moved towards hand to hand combat, picking up discarded Grounder weapons. Blood of the enemies was now coating her clothes. As she fights one Grounder, using their body as a human shield when she notices an arrow flying towards her, she hears Miller call out, "There are too many! Everybody to dropship now!"
Then Clarke yells back, "No! We need more time. Gunners, stay at your post. The rest of you, inside. Come on, move."
Elara stays at the dropship door, watching as delinquents climb inside. As she goes to grab her bow one more time, a loud explosion is heard causing everyone to look into the sky. "Is that from the Ark?" Fox asks.
"That is the Ark." Clarke answers.
Anya, the Grounder the girls met with, says to the man beside her, "Reinforcements."
The man replies, "When they get here, they won't find anyone alive. Take down the gate!" But before the Grounders can move to bring the gate down, yelling is heard from behind them. "Reapers!"
Finn brought the Reapers to the battle to buy the delinquents some time. As the Grounders and Reapers fight, the delinquents catch their breath and get ready for a second round.
Most of the group are inside the dropship, only the gunner's are outside. Elara now has her bow in hand, ready to use the last 10 arrows from her spot on the dropship ramp.
Once the Grounders beat the Reapers, the lead Grounder calls to the others, "Now to the wall!"
"Clarke, they're taking down the gate." Miller says.
"Good. Because I did it. I think" Jasper says, slightly unsure of himself.
"I'm closing that door." Miller replies.
"Wait! They're are still people out there. Bellamy, Nova, and Atlas are all out there." Elara says, making him stop.
Elara takes the last few shots with her arrows. Right after she runs out she turns her head to see Atlas get stabbed through the stomach, "ATLAS!" She yells out. Instinctively, she goes to run and help him, but Miller holds her back.
"It's too late for him, Elara." Miller says.
"No! No, I can help. Let me help." Elara replies, tears streaming down her face.
"You can't! I'm sorry." Miller tells her, keeping an arm around her to stop her from leaving the dropship.
Elara's eyes quickly scan the area around her trying to find Nova. She needed to make sure her best friend was alright. She makes eye contact with her just as a Grounder cuts Nova' stomach.
Nova retaliates, quickly slashing the Grounder throat. She knows she's too late though and she won't be able to make it to the dropship in time. So instead she backs away, working her way to the south foxhole.
Miller drags Elara inside the dropship, cutting off her view from everyone else. Nova is still outside fighting, not sure if everyone else has made it in but knowing that Elara is at least safe.
A Grounder sneaks up to her, not turning in enough time, the Grounder takes her down. Nova hears a snap and lets out an ear piercing scream. She may not be medically trained but she knows her ankle is broken. The two roll around a bit before Nova gets the upper hand, taking the Grounders own weapon and turning it against him.
Inside the dropship, the doors begin to shut. Anya jumps in at the last moment. The group looks at her as she eyes them. "Jasper, now." Clarke calls. Then addressing Anya, "Anya, you can't win."
The delinquents begin to attack Anya, beating her when she's already down. "No. Stop! She's already down. We are not Grounders." Clarke calls out.
Finally the ship launches. Nova is far enough away to not get scorched but close enough to feel the heat from the flames. She's disoriented from the pain in her ankle and the blood she's losing from her stomach wound. Her vision begins to become black as she passes out.
Once the dropship doors open, the delinquents and Anya slowly exit. The group looks around at the charred remains, not being able to identify those who were once friends or enemies.
Out of nowhere, a red smoke starts filling up the area, "What the hell?" Jasper asks.
"Mountain men." Anya speaks through gritted teeth. The group starts coughing as the smoke enters their lungs. One by one they fall to the Grounder.

We Are Grounder Pt. 1
Hello all! One more chapter until season 1 is complete. As always constructive criticism is welcomed and make sure to let me know if you want to be added to the taglist.
Season 1; Episode 12: We Are Grounders Pt. 1 Pairings: OC x OC Best Friends, no love interests yet Warnings: Mentions of death Word  Count: 3124
Elara and Nova overhear Bellamy as he addresses the rest of the camp, "Come on. These foxholes aren't gonna build themselves. Better hope those landmines work. All the gunpowder we're wasting, we could be making more grenades."
"Raven's the best. I think she proved that when she made the bomb for the bridge." Elara pipes in sticking up for the engineer and her idea for landmines.
"And rather than lecturing, maybe help out so this can get done quicker." Nova scolds the older boy.
"I've been helping, Angel." Bellamy rolls his eyes, "I need this entire section mined by morning. Then the south field."
"Hey, I told you. We're going after Finn, Clarke, and Monty in the morning." Raven says.
"And I told you, nobody leaves this camp."
"I'm talking to you. We can't just abandon our people. You want to lead them, show them you give a damn!"
"Raven, I understand your concern, I want to find them too. But Bellamy's right. Right now the most important thing is to make sure the rest of us are prepared to fight the Grounders." Nova gently tells the girl.
Before anyone has a chance to reply, a gunshot is heard throughout camp. "Hey, what the hell is the matter with you?" Bellamy scolds Sterling.
"I'm sorry, man. I fell asleep. I've been on watch all day." Sterling replies, clearly scared of Bellamy.
"We've all been on watch all day. That bullet was one less dead grounder."
"Knock it off!" Nova glares, "Sterling, go rest for a bit. I'll take over watch for you."
Sterling nods in thanks as Octavia speaks to her brother, "You need to relax a bit, you're scaring people."
"They should be scared! The bomb in the bridge bought us sometime to prepare, but that time is up. The Grounders are out there right now, waiting for us to leave and picking us off one by one when we do! Clarke, Finn, and Monty are gone, probably dead, and if you want to be next, I can't stop you, but no guns are leaving this camp! This camp is the only thing keeping us alive. Get back to work."
 *_*_*_*_*_*
Elara is inside the dropship taking care of Myles and trying not to eavesdrop on Bellamy and Jasper's conversation. "Don't you think I want to go after them, too?" Bellamy asks.
"If it was you out there, you think Monty, Clarke, or Finn would hide behind these walls?" Jasper retaliates.
"No. They'd go after me. Then They'd be dead too. I am doing what I think is right for the group."
"It's funny, you didn't think that way when Octavia went missing." Jasper starts walking away.
"Where are you going?" Bellamy calls after him.
"More gunpowder for your minefield, sir."
Myles breaks the tension by calling out, "Water... Please."
"I'll get some." Bellamy says, causing Elara to smile in thanks.
"Don't worry, he'll be back with water soon. I promise you'll get better." Elara whispers to the injured boy.
She turns to walk away to get some more clean bandages for the wound. As Elara, Bellamy, and Jasper leave Myles alone for a moment, Murphy sneaks in.
He takes the cushion from under Myles's head and starts to suffocate him. "This is for tying the noose that they hung me with. Say hi to Connor for me."
The struggle stopped as Myles stopped breathing. Murphy turns around to leave and sees Jasper behind him. "He stopped breathing. I was.. I was trying to help." Murphy tries lying.
"Murphy, just put the gun down." Jasper remains calm.
"He tried to kill me." Jasper starts moving as Murphy defends his actions, "Hey, don't move."
"Ok. Ok. It's cool."
"No, it's not. You know what'll happen to me if you tell Bellamy."
Elara now is hiding knowing that something is happening but she's just not sure what. "Tell Bellamy what?" She hears Bellamy through a walkie-talkie.
"Give me the radio, Jasper." Murphy commands.
"Murphy has a gun. He killed Myles." Jasper quickly says into the walkie, causing Elara to gasp loudly then cover her mouth afraid that Murphy will hear.
"Murphy, what the hell are you doing?" Bellamy's voice is heard once more.
Creaking is heard as the dropship door starts closing. "Get out here sweetheart, I know you're hiding." Slowly Elara moves out of her hiding spot looking at Murphy with wide eyes.
"Murphy! Murphy! Open the damn door!" Bellamy's voice calls again.
"You try to be a hero, Jasper and Elara die." At Murphy's words, Jasper takes a protective stance in front of Elara.
 *_*_*_*_*_*
Outside Nova still is unaware that Elara and Jasper are in danger. Octavia runs up to Bellamy, "I just heard Murphy has Jasper and Elara."
"Yeah. South foxhole all done?" Bellamy questions his sister.
"What? Bellamy, my friends are in there with a killer."
"O, look around. No one's working. If the grounders attack us right now, we're all dead."
Octavia grabs the radio from Bellamy's hand, "Murphy! Murphy, if you even touch Jasper or Elara, I swear to God, you're dead."
Bellamy grabs the radio back. "Octavia, I got this."
"Really? Because it doesn't look like you're doing anything about it."
Just as the words leave her mouth Raven comes around the corner, "Bellamy, you were right. There's a loose panel on the back. If I can pop it, we can get in through the floor."
"Sorry." Octavia says, to her brother.
Bellamy lifts the radio to talk to Murphy, "Murphy, I know you can hear me. All our ammo and food is in the middle level. You know that. You're leaving us vulnerable to an attack. I can't let that happen."
"Yeah, well, in case you haven't noticed, you're not exactly in control right now." Murphy replies.
"Come on, Murphy. You don't want to hurt Jasper or Elara. You want to hurt me. So what do you say? How about you trade them for me?"
"No." Octavia immediately tries to argue.
"All you have to do is let them go, and I'll take their place." Bellamy continues, ignoring his sister's protest.
"That's not a fair trade. Only you for both of them? I'll trade you Jasper for you. The only way I'll trade Elara is if Nova trades places."
Bellamy clenches his jaw as Octavia tries to change his mind, "Bellamy, if you do this, he'll kill you."
"If I don't he'll kill them." He takes a breath then speaks once more over the radio, "You open the door, I walk in, he walks out."
The dropship door starts opening, "Just you Bellamy, unarmed."
"Take this." Bellamy shrugs off his gun, handing it to his sister. "Don't let Nova know about this."
"10 seconds, or I'll put one in Jasper's leg." Murphy says then quickly starts counting.
"Raven will find a way to get you out." Octavia reassures Bellamy.
"I can handle Murphy. Get everyone back to work. The Grounders are still coming." Bellamy walks away from his sister and up the ramp, passing by Jasper as he walks out. "Are you alright, Elara?"
"Just peachy." Elara replies, attention returning to Murphy as he starts to shut the door once more.
 *_*_*_*_*_*
"Why isn't anyone working?" Nova asks, walking  up to Octavia. "And where's Bellamy?"
"Oh um," Octavia pauses, unsure how to answer.
Nova narrows her eyes, "What's wrong?"
"Well, Murphy has Bellamy in the dropship. I think he's going to kill him."
Nova nods then turns to everyone else, "Get back to work! The Grounders are coming and we need to be ready." The delinquents listen as Nova turns back to Octavia. "Alright what happened and is there a plan in place?"
"Murphy killed Myles and Jasper saw, so he shut the doors. Bellamy traded places because he knows Murphy didn't want to hurt Jasper but he does want to hurt him." She pauses to take a breath, "Raven and Jasper are trying to open the door from underneath."
"Ok, good." Nova starts but is interrupted by the sound of a gunshot.
"Bellamy? Are you ok?" Octavia asks over the radio.
Inside the dropship, Murphy is trying to get Bellamy to tie his own noose while Elara sits helplessly on the side. "You want her to know you're alive? Start tying."
"Bellamy, do you copy?" Octavia asks once more.
"I'm fine. We're both fine. Just a misfire. Now stop worrying and get back to work. And tell Raven to hurry her ass up." Bellamy replies.
"Why would he say we're both fine? Like we care about Murphy." Nova says to Octavia.
"He wasn't talking about Murphy." Octavia closes her eyes, "Elara is in there too."
"WHAT?" Nova yells. "Why the hell didn't you tell me that before?!"
"Bellamy asked me not to say anything. With him in there and Clarke missing, you may be our only leader."
"Yeah, well, with Clarke missing and Elara in there we don't have a medic and that's just as important. Especially considering you or Miller could easily step up as leader."
As Nova and Octavia talk, Raven is still trying to wire the door and Bellamy is just finishing his noose. "All right, that's long enough. Tie those two ends together." Murphy tells Bellamy. "Now get up and toss it over."
"What do you want me to say? You want me to apologize? I'm... I'm sorry." Bellamy says.
"You got it all wrong, Bellamy. I don't want you to say anything. I want you to feel what I felt, and then... Then I want you to die."
"Enough Murphy. You've had your fun. Just let us go." Elara tries.
"Not happening sweetheart."
 *_*_*_*_*_*
"Murphy! Let them go and we can talk properly." Nova calls over the radio.
"There's our Angel. Wanna trade places with Elara?" Murphy asks.
"Don't do it, Nov!" Elara yells. Murphy runs over to Elara and slaps her across the face making her raise her hand to her cheek.
"I don't know what you're playing at Murphy. There's no getting out of here alive if you do this." Nova tries once more to reason with Murphy.
"Well, that's something for me to discuss later. Now do you want to trade or not?"
"Dammit." Nova mumbles before raising the walkie once more, "Open the doors, I'll come."
As soon as the door is wide open, Nova makes her way inside. "You're so stupid! How could you-" Elara starts scolding Nova.
"Out before I decide to keep all three of you." Murphy says, forcing Elara out.
"I'll be fine, Lara." Nova encourages with a nod. As soon as the doors start to close she turns her attention to  Murphy, "Why did she have a red mark on her cheek?"
"I needed to punish her for talking without me telling her to." Murphy replies with a shrug, "Now sit over there like a good Angel and I'll get to you soon."
He turns back around to address Bellamy. "Stand on it. Put it over your head."
Bellamy shakes his head, "This is insane. The Grounders could..."
"Put it over your head." Murphy says once more, "Or I'll shoot her." He raises his gun to aim at Nova.
"Why don't you put the gun down and fight me like a man?" Nova speaks up, unfazed with the gun aimed at her head.
Bellamy quickly places the noose over his head to distract Murphy from Nova, "Happy now?"
"You're so brave, aren't you? Both of you? I mean, you came in here thinking you're just gonna turn this whole thing around, that you were stronger than me, and maybe one of your friends would come and help you. Well, what are you thinking now, Bellamy? Hmm?" Murphy says, when he gets no answer he tugs on the rope, choking the older boy.
 *_*_*_*_*_*
"Are you alright?" Octavia calls to Elara, noticing the bruise forming on her cheek.
"Yeah, Murphy slapped me when I told Nova not to go in." Elara replies.
"That dick. Raven better be almost done. Why don't you go check in on everyone to make sure they're all ok?"
"Not happening. Nova may not be blood related but she's still my sister, I'm not leaving until I know she's alright."
Just as the words leave her mouth Jasper comes back around, "Raven said she thinks she has it and to be ready when the doors open." The two girls nod in response.
Inside, Murphy is continuing his rant, "You know, I gotta hand it to you guys. You got them all fooled. They actually look up to you. Yeah, well, we know the truth, don't we? You're both cowards, I learned that the day you kicked out the crate from beneath me and you gave him the ok to do it."
He looks at Bellamy again, "Isn't that what you said? That you were just giving the people what they wanted, right?"
"I should have stopped them." Bellamy says.
"Yeah, it's a little late for that now."
"I personally wish we killed you the day you came back to camp, sick or not. It's not like you were much help against the Grounder's anyway." Nova speaks up, causing Bellamy to glare at the girl, now is not the time to talk back to the guy with the gun.
Murphy walks over to Nova, who remains unfazed, staring Murphy in the eyes. He rams the butt of the gun into her ribs. She groans in pain as Murphy begins talking once more, "Next time you speak to me like that, I'm putting a bullet through you."
"Do you seriously think they're just gonna let you walk out of here?" Bellamy asks, bringing the attention back to him.
"Well, I think the princess is dead... but I know the king and angel are about to die, so who's really gonna lead these people, huh?" Me, that's who, and yeah, maybe I'll have to kill your Grounder-pounder little sister."
A scream from below us cuts Murphy off, "I'm guessing that's her right now."
Murphy moves to shoot at the floor, but Bellamy tries to kick him.  So Murphy releases the rope to hang Bellamy. He then proceeds to shoot at the floor. With Murphy distracted, Nova rushes to him, and tackles him to the floor.
The two roll over fighting to overpower the other. Murphy hits Nova in the ribs once more, knowing that a weak spot for her at the moment. Just as the door begins to open, Murphy punches Nova across the face then runs up to the second floor.
Jasper, Elara, and Octavia rush in. Octavia and Jasper run to Bellamy as Elara runs to Nova. "Upstairs! Murphy went upstairs!" Nova calls, pushing herself off the floor.
She stumbles slightly as she hears Jasper ask Bellamy, "Can you breathe?"
Bellamy stands to pound on the latch to the second floor, "Murphy! It's over, Murphy! There's only one way out of this for you now!"
"You want to bet?" Murphy calls back.
From above them, an explosion is heard, the group rushes out to see Murphy running from the camp and into the woods. "That guy knows how to make an exit. Should we go after him?" Jasper asks.
"No. Grounders will take care of Murphy. We're going after Clarke, Finn, and Monty." Bellamy says.
"What? No, we aren't! That's how the Grounders have been getting us so far." Nova argues.
"Jasper and Raven were right. We don't abandon our own. Two guns. Jasper and me, that's it. Raven stays here to build up defenses. We lost a day because of this, and our gunpowder. Raven!" He yells for the girl.
Miller interrupts the conversation through a walkie, "All gunners! We got movement outside the south wall!"
People start moving before Miller speaks once more, "Wait! Hold your fire! It's Clarke and Finn! Open the gate!"
As soon as the pair are through the gate Clarke asks, "We heard an explosion. What happened?"
"Murphy happened." Bellamy answers.
"Are guys alright? No injuries?" Elara asks.
"No, we're fine." Finn says.
"Thank God! Where have you been? Where's Monty?" Jasper questions.
"Monty's gone?" Clarke asks, confusion lacing her voice.
"Clarke, we need to leave, now. All of us do. There's an army of Grounders, unlike anything we've seen, coming for us right now. We need to pack what we can and run." Finn interrupts.
"Like hell we do. We knew this was coming." Bellamy argues.
"Bell, we're not prepared." Octavia says.
"And they're not here yet. We still have time to get ready. Besides, where would we go? Where would we be safer than behind these walls?"
"There's an ocean to the east. People there will help us." Finn explains.
"You saw Lincoln." Octavia smiles.
Finn nods in response causing Bellamy to reply, "You expect us to trust a Grounder? This is our home now. We built this from nothing with our bare hands! Our dead are buried behind that wall in this ground. Our ground! The Grounders think they can take that away. They think that because we came from the sky, we don't belong here. But they're yet to realize one very important fact: We are on the ground now, and that means we are Grounders."
A few delinquents yell out in support, "Yeah! Grounders with guns!"
"Damn right! I say let 'em come!"
Clarke takes this as her cue to start speaking, "Bellamy's right. If we leave, we may never find a place as safe as this. And God knows, in this world, we could be faced with something even worse tomorrow. But that doesn't change the simple fact that if we stay here, we will die tonight. So pack your things. Just take what you can carry, now."
"What do you think, Nova?" Atlas calls from the crowd.
Nova sighs, "I agree with Clarke. Even if we can manage to beat the Grounders who are coming we will still lose people in this war. And I want to avoid that. I don't like the idea of running away but right now, that's our best option." She turns to look at Elara, "We're not warriors. We're kids, teenagers. We shouldn't need to fight for our lives."
"Help me." A voice calls out. The group turns their heads to see a limping Raven. She's clutching her side as blood drips through her fingers.
"Murphy shot her." Bellamy says as Finn rushes to her side.
"Get her onto the dropship." Clarke calls as she and Elara make their way inside to help her. The rest of the group start collecting their things, getting ready to leave the camp for good.

Chasing Butterflies: The Calm
Hello friends! I am so sorry for the long hiatus I just took but my motivation is back and I have more free time to write so I will be posting more regularly. I’m going to finish these last few chapters of Season 1 asap then I’ll be back to a weekly schedule (which I will also be updating my teen wolf story)! Thank you guys so much for your patience and as always constructive criticism is welcomed. Make sure to let me know if you want to be added to the taglist.
Season 1; Episode 11: The Calm Pairings: OC x OC Best Friends, no love interests yet Warnings: Mentions of death Word  Count: 2,215
Elara and Nova sat in silence at the West wall, watching for grounders. After about ten minutes, Elara decides to speak to her friend. "Are you sure you're ok? With your dad dying?"
Nova sighs, "Lara, I'm fine. He sent me down here to die anyway. Why should I be upset that he's gone? My concern is not my father's death. It's making sure the rest of us survive and the Grounders are taken care of."
"Taken care of? You mean killed."
"Well yeah, if that's what it comes to. I'd rather have them die then us."
Elara shakes her head, "We're not warriors, Nov."
"And we're not negotiators either, yet we were just trying that the other day."
"There is absolutely no arguing with you, is there?"
"I'm not trying to argue, I'm stating the truth."
"You say that you're stating facts and you're not a negotiator but you don't know all of the sides, and you literally studied to become leader on the Ark. I'm pretty sure that takes some negotiating and learning both sides."
Nova glances at Elara, "Do you mean to talk with the Grounders again to try and see their side of things? Because I don't think that will work considering they kept trying to put all the blame on us last time."
Nova pauses as she looks out to the forest before her. "Look," She continues, "I get that we're not perfect either and we made mistakes that if we didn't we may have been better off now. But we can't change what we did in the past. The Grounders killed our friends. And they weren't taking any of the blame. We need to do whatever it takes to survive. Warriors or not."
Before either of them can say more, one of the guys in camp calls out, "Woah! Guys, fire!"
"Go see what it is. I'll stay on post." Elara says.
Nova gives a quick nod before taking off to the commotion. "This is all your fault! We told you it was too much wood." Murphy yells, running towards Del and throwing a punch.
"Woah, woah, woah! Back up both of you!" Nova screams, running in between the two delinquents.
"Seriously, save it for the Grounders." Bellamy says, stepping up beside Nova.
"Well, now what the hell are we gonna do? That was all the food." Octavia announces.
*_*_*_*_*_*
Clarke, Bellamy, and Nova step into the charred remains of the smokehouse. "Any idea what happened?" Clarke asks.
"Murphy says that Del kept feeding the fire, mostly because Octavia told him it was a bad idea." Bellamy answers.
"And we believe Murphy?"
"I do."
"The only reason I believe him is because Octavia said the same thing." Nova replies.
"We have some wild onions and nuts in the dropship." Clarke begins, "It's only enough to last us maybe one or two weeks. What's left here?"
"Nothing. It all burned." Bellamy states.
"We're going to have to hunt. We won't be able to defend ourselves if we're starving." Nova immediately says.
"Anyone we can spare goes out." Clarke continues, agreeing with Nova.
Once the three step out they call for the attention of their fellow delinquents. "Each group takes someone with a gun, and they're for killing Grounders, not food. We don't have the ammo. Use the spears for hunting. Get what you can. Be back by nightfall. No one stays out after dark." Bellamy announces to the group.
"Miller, want to go out with Lara and I?" Nova asks the boy.
"Are you the one carrying a gun?" Miller asks.
"If you want me to, I can, but I figured you could use the gun and Lara and I could use our bows for hunting."
Miller nods, "Give me a minute to get my pack."
*_*_*_*_*_*
Once outside the walls the group of three stayed quiet as they tried to track some animals, any animal.
"I always hated learning tracking in Earth Skills. Now I wish I paid more attention." Nova mumbled quietly, squatting down to look in the dirt.
"Let me. I was actually pretty decent at Earth Skills. I mean, I'm no Finn, but I can track an animal or two." Miller says as he squats beside Nova.
After a brief moment Miller nods his head to the left, "That way." The three delinquents keep an eye out for Grounders and animals as they follow the tracks down to a river.
"Looks like we're getting two headed deer. I really hope this is safe to eat." Elara says as she raises her bow and shoots.
The deer falls with a quiet thud. "Good tracking, Miller. That will feed us for a bit. Especially if the other groups come back with good finds." Nova nods to the boy.
"Let's see if we can find any fish while we're by the river. Maybe we can bring back some more food." Miller replies.
"Good thinking." The group, plus the dead deer, move to a slightly deeper part of the river.
Miller keeps his eyes and ears peeled for Grounders while Nova and Elara stand still in the water, waiting for fish to swim closely by. After about 25 minutes the girls have collected about five fish each.
"This should be good for today. It will be dark soon, let's head back." Nova says.
The other two nod in agreement as they collect their kills and start their journey back to camp.
*_*_*_*_*_*
Walking back into camp and placing their kills in the new smokehouse, Elara walks out to check around camp for any possible injuries that occurred while she was away.
While Elara makes her rounds, Miller and Nova move to find Bellamy. "Bell! We just got back, and found a deer and ten fish." Miller informs.
"Ok, good. You guys were cutting it close to curfew. Had me a bit worried." Bellamy replies.
"Please, I think we were the most capable group out there. It was the others you should have worried about. Everyone's back, right?" Nova asks the older boy.
"We're still waiting for Clarke, Finn, and Myles." Bellamy answers.
"The sun just went down. They're not back yet?"
"No. Miller, go take over watch on the South wall." Miller nods and walks away. "I think I'm going to get a small group together to look for them."
Nova bites her lip, "You sure you want to risk it in the dark?"
"We don't have much of a choice. Clarke isn't just one of our medics, she's taken over a bit of a leadership role too. And Finn is our best tracker, we need him."
"Plus Myles is one of the few guys with decent aim. Yeah, I get it, I just don't like it."
"Me either. But we need to look out for ourselves."
"Take Elara, they may need medical attention." Nova says.
"You're not coming?" Bellamy asks, shocked that the girl is offering to stay behind.
"I promised I would continue some combat and weapons training. With the Grounders possibly striking any day now I need everyone to be at the top of their game. "
"You want to do that at night?" Bellamy raises an eyebrow.
"We don't know when they are planning on attacking, it could benefit us to train with low light."
"Makes sense. I'll let you get to it then."
Nova nods, "And Bellamy? If anything happens to Elara, I'm killing you."
*_*_*_*_*_*
"Hey, I feel like we haven't gotten the chance to talk recently." Atlas calls out to Elara.
"Sorry, with everything going on..." She trails off.
"Nah, I get it. Are you busy now?"
"Um, no. Everything seems to be alright around here."
"Great, could we talk then?"
Elara gives him a weird look, "Yeah, sure. What did you want to talk about?"
"Well, I don't remember much, but I vaguely remember asking about us when I was high on those Jobi nuts. I guess I just wanted to talk to you about it." Atlas rubs the back of his neck, clearly unsure of how to start this conversation.
"Oh, well. I didn't realize there was more that we had to talk about. I mean, I didn't really think much of it. You were high after all."
"Yeah, but after being down here with you I realized how much I miss you. I know we broke up because I got arrested, it was definitely the right thing to do considering I thought I was going to die but..."
Atlas sighs before he continues, "I kinda regret breaking up with you. You're an amazing person Elara. I was so lucky to be able to call you mine and I never stopped loving you. I guess I'm just wondering if I'll ever have a chance with you again?"
Elara bites her lip, looking up to the stars as she thinks. "Everything feels so different down here. I honestly don't know what's going to happen tomorrow or hell even within the next hour."
She takes a breath and turns to look Atlas in the eye, "What I do know is that I never stopped loving you either. You always meant so much to me, but you also hurt me when you broke up with me. I understand why you did it, but that doesn't mean I had an easy time with the break up."
"I can see us possibly working out in the future, but for now I think it's best that we stay friends.
Atlas nods and opens his mouth to respond, but before any words come out, a new voice is heard. "Elara! We need your help."
"Be right there!" Elara calls then turns back to Atlas, "I gotta go, we can talk more later." She smiles before standing up and making her way to the group gathered by the gates.
"What did you need?" Elara asks Bellamy, taking note of her bow and arrows in his hand.
Bellamy hands her the weapon, "Clarke, Finn, and Myles still aren’t back yet. We're going out to look for them and Nova said to bring you incase they need a medic."
"Alright, then let's go."
*_*_*_*_*_*
Nova stood to the side, watching as three delinquents practiced knife throwing. Whenever she felt like someone needed help, she went over and gave them tips on adjusting their throw and balance.
She was happy with the improvements the group has made with the thought that maybe we will survive running through her head.
After watching them practice for a while and slowly not being able to find any more mistakes, she moved on to the next group. This group, one of which was Harper, were practicing with spears.
"Good shot Harper, just watch your balance. You want to make sure your footing is even so you don't tip over with the power of the throw." Nova says as she walks over to adjust the girl's footing.
"Thanks, I felt like something was off." Harper replies, smiling at Nova.
Nova nods, "How are you feeling about a possible war?"
"Nervous, I know a war means we'll lose more people. I don't want to lose anyone. I don't want to die."
Nova gives her a sad smile, "We're just going to have to come up with a plan so we keep as many of our people alive as possible." Harper smiles then turns back to practicing with the spear.
*_*_*_*_*_*
"Where are they?" Raven asks Octavia and Elara.
"We'll find them." Octavia replies without hesitation.
Through the radio, Monty's voice can be heard, "I thought you said you were heading west. Where are you?"
"Just keep the moon to your left, and you'll find us." Bellamy answers.
"This morning, all I could think about was how much easier this would all be if Finn was just gone." Raven sighs.
"Don't blame yourself, Raven. It isn't your fault." Elara says, resting a comforting hand on the older girl's shoulder.
Monty's voice is heard once more, "Is anyone else hearing this signal? I think it's the same thing we heard in the black box."
"Damn it, Monty, pay attention." Bellamy scolds, "Do you see anything? Report."
Monty doesn't answer, instead Raven does, "Oh my God. There's someone in the bushes."
"Myles?" Octavia and Elara say when they see the boy on the ground.
"Hey, what happened? Where's Clarke and Finn?" Elara asks the injured boy. She's more focused on his wounds then his answer though.
"Grounders took them." Myles replies.
"Take it easy." Bellamy tells Myles, "We have to get him back to camp."
"Bell, what about Clarke and Finn?" Raven asks.
"Raven, I'm sorry."
"We need to make a stretcher, we can't carry him back with his injuries." Elara says.
The girls nod as they start gathering supplies for a stretcher. Elara stays behind to make sure Myles isn't bleeding too bad. She listens in as Bellamy radios Monty, "Monty, we're heading home. You copy?"
There's a brief pause before he continues, "Monty, can you hear me?" Again, no answer. "Monty, where the hell are you?"
The group looks at each other in shock, concerned that the Grounders may have captured another one of their group.

you're still a writer, even if:
you don't write every day
your books aren't published
you haven't finished your first draft
your stories don't get a lot of interaction
you keep creating new stories instead of finishing them
you aren't as good or skilled at writing as other people might be
you struggle to come up with new ideas
you abandon stories when you get bored of them
you don't want your books to be published
you take long breaks between writing sessions
you only write for fun
you doubt your ability as a writer
you don't create original stories and write fanfiction
you don't know all there is to writing techniques and writing rules
Writing is about writing. It's not a competition of who can reach what first. You still hold value as a writer, regardless of what your progress or process looks like. You set your own goals, and it's okay to only do this for fun.

fuck it. be creative even if you never really *make* anything. write out plot synopses of stories and then move on. design OCs you'll never use. make mood boards and concept art and don't do anything with them. life's too short to forget everything that inspired you and creation doesn't have to be "complete" to be worth the time you put into it.

If u want to write a story about a character that's just you but hotter with a dark twisted backstory and magical powers and a pet falcon or something, I think u should just go ahead and do that. Who's gonna stop you? The government?? Fuck the police.

It is a painful truth that actually none of my fics are abandoned, no, not even the ones that haven’t updated in five years. I still know exactly what happens next, and after that, and so on. They’re not abandoned; they’re right here, haunting me, characters climbing up my pants like kittens nagging for dinner.
