I don’t know where else to post this but for some reason here might be my best chance of someone understanding.

I’m tired, but I don’t want to sleep. My brain is soaring with hope and wonder and curiosity right now. I want to experience all the wonder that I can. I want to look at the stars, I want to see the beauty in the world around me. I want to meet people, hear their stories.. I want to live…

And I guess I’m afraid that if I sleep, when I wake up tomorrow, all of this will have passed, and I will once again be faced with the crushing reality of life, weighed down and tired.

I don’t know if that makes any sense but I had to get it out somewhere.

the first copy is in tip top condition. a little yellowed, hinting at age, but other than that, there is barely even a crease in the spine. there are no marks, and the owner says that they always keep their books in a book bag when carrying them around.

the second book is battered. absolutely wrecked. it is yellowed, the spine has multiple creases, and there are scriblings in pencil all over every single page, the thoughts of the owner entwined magically with the book forever. there are a fee highlighted bits and bookmarked pages.
