I have an idea for an erling imagine where he and his girlfriend both play for man city and they first met at the like training grounds or smt ant the reader is swedish so she can understand him when he speaks norwegian (srry if its wierd i just couldnt manage to write this one myself😭💕)

A/n: I’m so sorry I’ve been dealing with exams but they are all over now so I’m ready to prioritise my writing again since I love doing to so much and I love you guys as well 🫶🏻

also the story may not link to the request very well and I’m so sorry if it’s not what you expected

Struggle

“Hey Erl” you sweetly say while walking up to Erling, being apart of the same football team (although you were with the women’s and he was with the men) can be strange at times but comforting for you both and can also come in handy: just like today.

He smirked once he heard your voice “hello baby” he kissed your cheek and wrapped an arm around your shoulder, it wasn’t just protective but it was also calming, you both stand in an comfortable silence while waiting for your coaches inside the Etihad Stadium. “How’s training going” you whisper, resting your head on his shoulder as much as the height difference would let you but it doesn’t stop you from noticing his hesitation

“Are you okay” you turn to look at him with a confused look and you could see the sadness that loomed in his eyes “nothing it’s just that…it’s hard y/n” he shakes his head and tried to brush the topic off but you don’t let it end there “what’s hard” you give him had a small squeeze while patiently waiting for his answer and when you see his hesitation again you speak“tell me in Norwegian if it’s easier for you” you comfort him

He took a deep breath and looked at you “det er bare det at jeg sliter med noen engelske ord og hvordan jeg skal si dem, og jeg prøver å forklare det eller si det norsk, noen gjør narr av meg” (it’s just that I struggle with some English words and how to say them and I try to explain it or say it Norwegian some people just make fun of me) once he finished Erling looked away from you and you couldn’t help but feel so sorry for him and wonder how destressed he must feel “oh sweetie, it’s going to be okay ” you place a hand on his cheek and caress it with your thumb slowly

The both of you stand there for a while which you trying to collect your thoughts and come up with a solution and Erling just enjoying the feeling of your hand touching him, it wasn’t anything sexually to anyone walking past or seeing you but you both know it’s something you enjoy and something calming for you both

Nothing was said but from time to time Erling would plant some kiss on your forehead or bring you into his embrace, you know by now it was his way of saying “thank you” or “I needed that/what you said”

“takk min kjære” (thank you my love)

“Jeg elsker deg” (I love you)

Erling whispered against your forehead with his lips pressed against it, you smile and remove your hand from his cheek and instead wrap him in a hug and whisper back at him

“jag älskar dig också” (I love you too)

“Y/n that’s all we will need from you right now, can you just wait in the other room until your dad has done his shoot and then we can possibly do a father and daughter thing after” Mary said to you camera in hand flipping through the photos she had just take of you in the new Manchester United third kit

“Of course that’s okay Mary, I’ll see you in a few minutes” you said waving and saying a quick goodbye to your dad as you walked out of the shooting room

To spare yourself some time you decided to walk around old Trafford for a short while and admire the place you practically grew up in

Since your dad was the infamous Roy Keane, captain of man United for 8 years and a well known club legend, it’s safe to say since the day you were born this stadium was your second home, it went from walking around at the age of 6 while your dad was training with the likes of Gary Neville and David Beckham to you making it to the first team and most of the staff members already knowing who you were because of your dad but also when you joined the academy when you were 16 years old

Suddenly you were pulled out of your thoughts when a hand wrapped itself around your mouth and a strong arm pulled you into a vip room, your first instinct was to scream but when you made it into the room and the man took his hat off you were met with a head of long blonde hair

“Erling, you shouldn’t be here and what are you wearing” you said with a shocked expression on your face, your 6’5 Nordic boyfriend was stud in front of you in a man United staff uniform all you wanted to do was admire him not seeing him for such a long time had taken a tole on the both of you so when he pulled you into a hug all you could think of was how tiny you must look with your small frame completely covered and protected by his strong arms and his muscular body

“Well it’s nice to see you to darling” he said with a smirk on his face

“Erling do you know what my dad will do if he sees you-“ but before you could finish he cut you off

“ that’s why I’m in this hideous outfit to help me blend in, I just really wanted to see you because I missed you. You went to Ireland for international but when you came back to Manchester you didn’t come and see me and you didn’t this photoshoot” Erling said looking like a kicked puppy

“Oh baby I’m so sorry, I’ve just been so caught up in everything” you said putting you hands onto his cheeks to cup his face and pulling him down into a deep kiss. Erling sitting down in the chair behind him and placing you onto his lap to make access to you easier

However this passionate moment between the both of you was soon interrupted by the ringing of your phone “oh shit its my dad” you said getting up of Erlings lap and quickly answering

“Hey dad” you said

“Hi sweetie, Mary said she needs you back to do some more photos”

While you and your dads conversation continued you could feel Erling placing small kisses on the base of your neck, being careful not to leave any marks that would give your secret away. Before he knew it the phone call was over and he had to leave you

“Erling Baby” you said detaching your body from his

“Yes” he answered

“I love you” you said with a smile while placing a kiss on his nose

“I love you too, you better be getting back to your dad or he’ll come looking for you” Erling said hugging you one more time while you placed your head in his neck mumbling something about seeing him at his place that night

“Erling” you said before moving out of the hug Before you left however you did want to tease him a small amount before you met him later

“Yes love”

“Don’t forget the hat of your favourite team” you places the black cap that had a man United crest on his head giggling before looking at him up and down, this was his outfit ( a long man United zip up coat and a hat)

“Your so annoying you know that right” he let out a small laugh

“You love me” you said before leaving him alone in the box

A/n: thank you so much❤️,i really enjoyed making the part of the Wolff family especially the jokes between toto and also the other f1 driver(think I did Charles a little dirty when I mentioned him crashing in Monaco all the time🤭)

Summery: Erling!grumpyxsunshine!reader, Erling had always looked like a cold and judgemental person but there has always been that one person who could make him a clingy general giant

Working as a physiotherapist at Manchester City was hard but what was even harder is you looking at your secret boyfriend trying to look tough when really you knew what he was like at home especially with you

“Morning Mark” y/n Said entering the etihad with a bright smile on her lips and waving at the half awake man “working” at the front desk. “You’re to happy for 9:00 o’clock in the morning” mark answered her grabbing for his coffee that was placed next to him

As y/n walked down one of the many hallways in the stadium she finally made it to her office, stepping inside she took of her coat and scarf revealing her Man City uniform that was lying underneath. Sitting down in her office chair behind her desk y/n logged into her computer checking the names on the agenda for the day

9:20 - Kevin De Bruyne

I’ve learned that he’s not a morning person so hopefully he won’t be to bad today

9:30 - Kalvin Phillips

Okay not to bad for the morning, he’s quiet, easy to get along with she thought

9:45- John stones and Kyle walker

I mean johns’s easy to make conversation with so he’s not to bad but him and Kyle together, someone pray for me

okay we’re getting more intense for a Monday morning

(Earlier this morning)

Your eyes fluttered open and the first thing you felt was a pair of strong arms around your waist and light kisses being placed gently all over your face, y/n looked up to see a boyish grin plastered on her boyfriends lips, the same lips she leaned up to give a kiss “good morning baby” she mumbled against him

“Good morning pretty girl” he replied, pulling away and pulling her back into his toned chest

Mornings with Erling was something that y/n always cherishes because in her opinion there is nothing sweeter than waking up in your partners embrace and Erling kisses and cuddles in the morning were the best way to start her day

as y/n removed the covers from over their body and swung their legs off the edge of the bed, the strong pair of arms that she woke up in pulled her back into the warm cocoon they had both made during the night

“Where do you think your going kjære” (sweetheart) erling mumbled while continuing planting kisses over every piece of skin he could reach which eventually led him to find the sweet spot on your neck

“Oh erl, honey as much as I love this we need to get ready for work” you moaned looking down at Erling who was to occupied with you to listen and replied with a simple mhm into your neck

“Oh fine, I suppose 5 more minutes won’t hurt us, right?” y/n said with a sigh while her giant boyfriend was already pinning her down underneath him

The morning had flow by quite quickly and the check ups were not as bad as she thought (well besides from jack, John and Kyle who were far to mental for a Monday). Y/n sat at her desk hoping to get some files filled out before her next appointment showed up. But just as she started typing there was a knock on her office door

Confused y/n checked her computer clock 10:10 there’s no one on the schedule

“Come in” she shouted only loud enough so the person on the other side could hear, but as the door slowly creeped open she realised who it was

“Hey Kjæreste (darling), and before you say something like your appointment isn’t until 10:15-“

“10:20” you replied with a smirk

“Oh whatever, as I was saying before you say anything I just wanted to say I brought you breakfast because we didn’t have time to have some thing morning” Erling said with a smug look as he walked over to put the bag of food and cup of (whatever you want to drink) on y/n’s desk and taking a seat infront of her

“Thank you so much you have no idea how much I needed this after the morning we had” you said sipping on your drink while Erling just hummed at you in agreement with his smile growing every second

Leaning over the desk and putting his face in between your hands, you gave him a small peck on the lips, pulling away to quickly for your Norwegian boyfriends liking but before he could reach other to kiss you properly there was another knock at the door, Erlings smile quickly faded

Quickly sitting back into their chairs and just in time as someone opened the door “y/n, Erling it’s lovely to see you both this morning” pep strolled in with a wide smile

“Hi pep” you replied to the Spaniard with a bright smile as wide as his, Erling replied with a small frown which was accompanied by a blunt and dry “morning boss”

“So I suppose you haven’t heard the news since you are both still in here” the manager looked at you with a raised eyebrow

“What are you talking about” you asked “I don’t have anything in my calendar but check ups today”

“Right, I should probably update that for you, anyway back to business, there is a meeting with staff and players in a few minutes and I need you both to be there, okay, oh and erling try and put on a smile, we all know you don’t talk much but it would be nice to see a little emotion from time to time”

Much to no one’s surprise the response Erling gave was short and emotionless which caused a small minute of tension which you not long after broke

“Okay we’ll be there” you smiled nodding your head as the Spaniard walked out of your office

“I love it when you smile” Erling stated looking at you with a playful but meaningful glint in his eye

“Thank you but your not sweet talking me into another kiss especially since we almost got caught” you said walking towards the door “are you coming or are you going to sit in that chair all day”

Turning around you see the blonde giant “struggling” to get out of one of your office chairs “it looks like glued to my seat, guess I’m not going anywhere…unless” Erling said slowly as he made eye contact with you which was when you could see the smirk he was wearing “unless I get a kiss from my beautiful girlfriend”

“Your unbelievable “ you playfully huff in defeat as you jogged over to Erling,wrapping your arms around his neck and pressing your lips onto his slowly but letting them linger there making the kiss feel more passionate to the both of you but before Erling could snake his arms around your waist to pull you onto his lap,you pulled lips off of his and made your way out of the door

“Y/n/n” you catch Erling say before you left

“Yes erl” you smile at him

“I love you” he said with the most tender smile he reserved only for you, he was your world, “I love you too baby” you replied blowing him a kiss. but as you walked out what you didn’t see was him “catching” the kiss in his hand and placing the same large hand over his mouth, smiling like a child while doing so

The whole team was at this meeting and to no one’s surprise it was unnecessarily long and not to mention boring, the only things keeping you going was the small jokes that Bernardo made and the stollen glances that you and Erling would give each other. The meeting mostly consisted of the staff and players discussing different problems or ideas they had to make the team more successful than it already is.

Soon enough you were losing interest in what people have to say since it was always the same thing or the same person that thought they had to speak, you looked around the room and at the people that you do not normally see at work trying to understand what they were all thinking, nope nothing. That was until you caught your favourite pair of ocean blue eyes for what seems like the hundredth time in the meeting

I could look into them eyes forever, easily get lost and even if I found a way out I wouldn’t want to leave. They really are so pretty I just want to-

“Y/n do you have anything to add” Pep questioned quite firmly pulling you out of your trance and ripping your attention away from Erling(which he was not happy with)

“Um no not really, well there is this one thing” you said with your voice getting quieter every word you spoke, pep knows your not a huge fan of speaking in front of everyone but he really values everyone’s opinions especially yours. “Well what would you like to say” his voice softer than before which calmed your nerves a little more

“Well some players have been late to there appointments and check ups lately and it’s really inconvenient to me because then my day is delayed and it really messes up my schedule,so I’d appreciate it if people where on time or let me know in advance” you said your voice a slight whisper and you were not 100% sure that everyone in the room had heard it

And you were right, the room was filled with small comments like “what did they say” or “I couldn’t hear can you speak up” before you could even open your mouth again you guessed that Erling could see the panic in your face since he stud up from his seat that was placed opposite yours and cleared his throat

He was impossible to miss in that moment, his 6’4 frame towering over everyone else in the room and his deep voice and once soft expression and warm eyes(which you had saw) soon faded into a cold look and an icy stare to anyone who looked at him

“She said some players have been late to there appointments and check ups lately and it’s really inconvenient to them because then their day is delayed such as the time they get lunch and more, and it really messes up their schedule,so they would appreciate it if people where on time or let them know in advance, okay” Erling said while everyone turned to agreed with what you said of apologise, but without anyone knowing Erling threw you a quick wink and sat back down in his seat probably planning not to speak for the rest of the meeting

You mentally reminded yourself to thank him later one way or another for what he did

After the meeting took place everyone returned back to there stations, workers (along with you) went back to their office and the players went to the pitch to train

You looked at the clock on your computer screen I’ve only been working for half and hour it definitely feels longer than that, I could probably get another few files done and then have some free time before I have to check on more players for the game next week-

Knock knock

“Hello” you said sceptically

“Hi y/n/n” the boy smiled widely when he saw you

“Erl what are you doing here your supposed to be training for the game next weekend” you said to him “are you feeling okay, does anything hurt” a concerned tone showed in your voice

“I told pep I wasn’t feeling well so he sent me to you” Erling said closing the door and slowly walking closer to you

“Why are you really here” you question him trying to hide a smirk

“.because it’s cold outside”

silence filled the room until Erling broke it

“And because I miss you” wrapping his arms around your waist and naturally yours found the back of his neck

“I miss you too baby but we both need to do our jobs”

“Mhm” Erling mumbled looking down on you

“Are you even listening to me” you questioned

“Umm not really” Erling said with a playful tone, leaning in and capturing your lips for a kiss

“Erl”

“Yes kjære” (sweetheart)

“Thank you for what you did in the meeting today, it really ment a lot to me” you said tears building up in the corner of your eyes and tightening the hug you had your boyfriend trapped in

“Shush, y/n darling, you don’t have to thank me it’s what I do, I love making you feel comfortable and also making you happy” he said planting a small peck on your forehead “but you know what I don’t want to see” Erling said pulling away from your tight embrace for a minute

“What” you confusingly questioned him

Erling took your tiny hands into his and looked into your y/e/c eyes, taking a deep breath he finally said“ you crying, you’re so full of light and I don’t want to think of a world without your smile in it, and the truth is people see me as this grumpy asshole but when your around I don’t feel like that anymore and-“

You shushed your Nordic boyfriend by bringing him down for a kiss and letting him know how much you loved him, giving him loving complements and showering him with the love and passion he treats you

“Erl, you know how I said I wanted to thank you”

“Yeah” he answered hesitantly as if he was scared of saying the wrong thing

“Well I get off work earlier than you..so” you said looking up at him with doe eyes and the most innocent look he had ever seen

“so…. OH” Erling eyes looked like they would pop out of his face before he some what gained his composure “well, maybe if your offering I couldn’t possibly stop you, what kind of boyfriend would I be hm” rewrapping his arms around your waist and pressing a long and passionate kiss on your lips

After a couple of minutes of being in each others presence you decided it was time to leave and that you should let Erling get back to his training

Grabbing the coat and scarf you arrived with (and Erling wrapping you up nice a tightly because he didn’t want his beautiful baby to get a cold) you packed all your personal items away

“Okay I’ll see you at home okay darling, oh and please take it easy in training we do no want a repeat of last time” you said putting yourself on your tip toes to kiss Erling cheek causing his to blush a deep shade of red

“Okay I will,just for you” he stated with a smile spread on his face

“Oh and Erling” you said before walking out of your office door

“Yes angel”

“I love you”

“I love you too”

“See you at home love” and with that you threw him a wink to confirm what will be happening when he gets home but to also show him that you love him even though he can be a little grumpy around other people

Love confession

Plot: confessing your love to Erling on Christmas

You woke up, drenched in sweat as you looked at the clock on the bedside table.

4:56am. You let out a whimper as you remember the kind of nightmare you had. You had these every single night. It was always the same: the sound of your fathers feet stomping around the house, shouting at you for something you didn’t do, but nothing was ever good for him

You were knocked out of your thoughts when you hear a soft knock on the bedroom door

You walk towards it, after waiting a few seconds you open it and see Erling towering over you

“Are you okay?” He asks, you look up at him confused, you gestured him to come inside

“I heard you crying from next room” he whispered sitting down on the bed as you closed the door

“No I’m okay, just had a bad dream” you answered sitting on the bed next to him

“Do you want to talk about it” he said taking your hand, which made you remember everything that had happened in the last couple of hours

“Don’t be nervous, they’ll love you” he said

When Erling heard the news that you will be spending Christmas alone he convinced you to spend Christmas with him and his family, even though you protested he wouldn’t take no for an answer. So now you were in Norway standing outside his parents front door

“ you’ll be fine, trust me” he said reaching towards your hand and giving it a squeeze

You noticed how his blue eyes are. Stop it y/n, your just friends

A women answered the door and gave Erling a hug. They start to talk a language you did not understand. The women turned her attention to you “oh my, you’re very beautiful” she said touching your hair that was resting on your shoulder.

A man then came through the door. You know. He’s Alfie haaland

“Are you Erling girlfriend” he asks shaking your hand “father” Erling said blushing “I’m only joking” he winked at you

You turn to look at Erling and he was red, it’s like all his blood had rushed to his head “hey are you okay” you touched his bicep “yeah. Yeah im fine” he looked up and your eyes met, it’s like everything around you was gone

You watched as he looked at your lips and back to my eyes. We both began to lean in

“Y/n dear” we heard the women shout “oh my god” Erling whined quietly as you laugh and we lean back “another time pretty boy” you started to walk away when he grabbed your arm

“you mean it?”

“I mean it” you promised

Now I was back in the guest bedroom with Erling next to me, there was silence but it was comfortable

“Okay. I better go before the others wake up” he stood up from the bed, you grab him arm “stay” you whisper. He nodded with a smile. You know he wanted it too, he just didn’t want to ask

“That promise” you whisper “you still want it?” You look down, you can feel your face going red as his hands made there way up to your chin and lifts it up

“Of course” he says as we both leaned in, our lips connected like the last piece of a jigsaw.

Both of our lips moving in sink as your hand makes its way to Erlings long blonde hair, he bit your bottom lip as he leaned back to catch his breath.

We both look at eachother and smiled. A few seconds after, you crashed your lips back into his and he places a hand under your head as he laid us back onto the bed

“I love you y/n, I really love you” those words made your heart flutter. He didn’t regret them. “I love you to Erling” you whisper pecking his lips once again as he hummed

“Come here” you said opening your arms up gesturing him to lay his head down on your chest. He gladly accepted. “Can we stay like this forever” he asked, as he ran his hand up and down my clothes thigh

“Until someone interrupts us” you giggle as well as him

“Go to sleep y/n” he said giving your neck a kiss before you both drift off

You woke up to a bunch of sloppy kisses on your face and neck “Erling” you giggled “sorry darling” he said with a chuckle. You grab his face with your hands and kiss his lips

“Merry Christmas beautiful” he whispered as we let go.

9:48am

“How are we gonna get out of this room without getting caught” you ask “ I think we’ll be fine love” he said grabbing your hand and tugging you out of bed.

He opens the door and there stood his brother. Ah yes you can’t forget Astor haaland. You got the dad talk from him yesterday after his mum let you inside

A-“Don’t kiss infront of me it weird”

Y/n- “We aren’t even dating”

A- “Still, and don’t be flirty”

Y/n- “we aren’t”

A- I don’t want to wake up to noises”

Y/n- you won’t

A- oh and I don’t want to wake up to both of you coming out of one room

Y/n- you won’t

Well that backfired. “Sorry Astor” you gave him a apologetic look “you promised” he pointed a finger at you “I did not” “you did” “I didnt” “fine you didn’t but still” he walked away

“So you’ve met my brother then” Erling asked as we both sat down on the sofa watching the kids opening the presents. “Oh yes I have” you chuckled, feeling his arm go around your waist as he pulled you closer to him. You couldn’t stop the smile breaking through yours lips

“I love you Erling” you whisper

“I love you too y/n” he kisses your forehead

You looked up to meet eyes with Alfie. He nodded and smiled. You did the same, guessing that Erling wasn’t the only person who heard you say them three special words

It all felt like a dream. You cuddled into Erling yep differently not a dream

Second Date

Summery:Going on a second data with Erling but you both leaving because you felt uncomfortable

After your first date with the tall Norwegen you already find your self falling for him

Your first data was at a theme park.

Much to your protests he hired the whole place out for you. The day went amazing you went on every ride at least twice and had great conversations over food, the last think that you had to do was the PhotoBooth.When the last photo was being taken you made the decision to kiss him. It’s safe to say that photo is now his lock screen. On the way home from the date Erling asked you on a second, and you said yes not having to think about the question he asked you.

You stud in front of a floor length mirror in your room Erling said he would pick you up from your apartment at 7:30pm to take you to a new restaurant that just opened, even though fancy restaurants weren’t really your thing you agreed because you really wanted to go on another data with Erling.A knock at the door snapped you out of your thoughts and you quickly straightened your dress

When you opened the door you looked up to see Erling in a grey suit which was matched with a black tie, waist coat and his long hair fell to his shoulders.When he saw you his mouth was agape and a pink tint to his cheeks“You looks beautiful” he says with a wide smile plastered on his face “and you look very handsome” you smile back at him.

We exited the car and walked hand in hand to the tall glass doors that welcomed us into the restaurant, Erling let go of your hand to open the door for you “lady’s first” he joked with a grin plastered on his face. Once you were both inside a waiter, who looked around 18 and was significantly smaller then the blonde man next to you. You hook your arm through erlings and cuddled close to him.

“Hello, do you have a reservation with us today”he asked looking you up and down and you could see the hint of lust in the man’s eyes

oh god,i wish I had brought a jacket you thought to yourself hugging Erlings arm tighter, but this didn’t seem to stop the man’s stares

Erling seemed to sense your discomfort and excused the both of you for ‘just a moment’ when in reality the moment you left the restaurant you both got into his car.

“I’m so sorry,i ruined everything” you started but Erling soon put your apology’s to a stop “darling you have nothing to be sorry for, it was that assholes fault and I promise you I’ll get him fired, I’d do anything for you” the last part came out as more of a whisper as he pulled you in for a kiss which you gladly accepted.

“What are we doing to do now” you questioned but Erling just smirked onto your mouth “don’t worry my love, i have a plan” he stated while starting the car and drove to a local shop not far from his apartment. The two of you went inside, you earned a few odd looks from people as you and Erling picked out what you wanted for dinner while looking like a million dollars. You felt like a kid again, kissing Erling in random isles and running around with your dress and Erling trailing not long behind you

“Welcome to my home dear” he says closing the door to his apartment behind us. “It’s beautiful” you say stunned with how big it is. “Let’s get dressed and then we can start cooking Kjæreste” you squeal at the feeling of Erling picking me up bridal style “but what will i wear” you giggle “I’m sure I can find a shirt for you” as he says this Erling kisses your forehead

Erling got dressed first so that he could start cooking while he waited for you. You slipped out of your dress and put Erling number 9 jersey on, which felt and looked like you where wearing yet another dress. Making your way out of the bed room and into the kitchen you can hear Erling singing along to a song playing through a speaker, you quietly made your way behind him and wrapped your arms around his waist, resting your head on this back

“Dinner won’t be long now” Erling said and he put the lid on-top of the pan, moving your hands from his waist and to his neck erlings hands found home on your hips and pulled you up onto the counter so he could rest in between your legs, “thank you so much” you whisper while leaning in closer to Erling

Kissing Erling on your first date was the best decision of your life and now you’ll be able to kiss him every hour of everyday all year around. And you couldn’t be happier

Insomnia

It’s 3am and your wide awake, starring into the darkness.

Erling on the other hand was out like a light, you couldn’t blame him though. He had gotten another hattrick for Manchester City this time against wolves and you couldn’t be happier for him, you wanted him to rest.

That’s why you let him sleep, you didn’t want to wake him up and pester him as you try and get yourself to sleep but nothing was working

You try and get out of Erlings tight grasp and quietly removed the covers from your body as you reached for the first shirt you could find to cover up with, erlings jersey.

You walked swiftly to the kitchen and planed to make yourself some tea, you turned on some music and put it at the quietest volume as you waited for the kettle to brew

You reached for your favourite mug, which unfortunately was on the top shelf. You groaned in annoyance, you didn’t know what to do because Erling normally got the objects for you.

You were pulled out of your thoughts when you felt strong arms wrap themselves around your waist

“You should be in bed with me” Erling said as he buried his face into your neck

“I’m sorry did I wake you” you questioned him quietly knowing he was still half asleep

“i just woke up to you not being here. i wanted to hold you.”he says while grabbing your waist softly, holding you closer to him, your back pressed against his chest

“I’m here now my love” you say softly, turning around to hold his face in your hands, giving him kisses all over him face.

He laughs and you can feel him blush in the dark

“Come on let’s get you to bed” Erling whispers in your ear, he picks you up bridal style

Once in bed you snuggle against him chest, the blanket all over eachother, your bodies tangled together.

He falls asleep in seconds, and you slowly drifted off to sleep listening to his breathing

Long distance

Summary: being in a long distance relationship with Erling and you surprise him at the Manchester derby

It was hard for you and Erling

You both met each other when Erling first started playing for Dortmund in 2019 and soon after he asked you to move in with him and of course you said yes.

Everything had been perfect between the both of you until Erling had a call up from Manchester City.

He wanted you to follow him but you couldn’t quit your job and he understood that. So you both agreed on a long distance relationship.

Present day: 2nd October 2022

You missed Erling, as soon as you’d heard the biggest game of the season was coming up, the Manchester derby. You booked plane and match tickets to go and watch Erling play. This would be the first you’ve seen him in a few months and you didn’t want to admit you was nervous

you couldn't wait to see erling, after almost three months of being apart, and you were looking forward to surprising him after the game.

the game itself was incredible, and you loved seeing erling play for the first time in what seemed like forever. even better is that he played absolutely phenomenally, getting a hat trick and two assists.

after the match had ended and all the fans had left the family’s of the players walked out onto the pitch to greet and congratulate everyone

You and Erlings dad, Alfie, waited for him to exit the tunnel, excitement running through your veins. he walked out with Phil after getting their photo taken for the mc instergram. erling not even recognising you at first, phil having to give him a slight nudge and point you out to him.

as soon as erling's eyes landed on you, his face broke out into a huge grin, he ran to you, dropping his match ball in the process. when he got to you he scooped you up into his arms, you wrapping your legs around his waist, as you clung onto him, not wanting to let go.

Once he placed you on the floor, he cupped your cheeks, pressing a long passionate kiss on your lips

“What are you doing here? You didn’t tell me you where coming” his eyes looking all over you, taking you all in, as if you would disappear any minute.

“i missed you so much, you know."he breathed out, wrapping his free arm around your shoulder, pressing a kiss to the top of your head.

“How long are you in Manchester for” he questioned

“As long are you want” you told him

“What”

“Oh sorry, i forgot to mention. I quit my job to become an author” you smile shyly

“That’s great! Wait does that mean you can live with me” at that moment Erling a face lit up

“Only if you want me to” you replied

“I would love you to” he said with no hesitation

“I love you Erling haaland. i missed you, too. it's been horrible, not being able to be here for you."

“And I love you y/n y/l/n, well, you're here now, and you've got quite a few people to meet, so come on," he said, grabbing your hand, ready to introduce you to everyone.
