Nothing makes me laugh more than people who assume that just because an author has a prefered genre, or write stories that share similar themes, that you acknowledging that is insulting them?

Like honey no, it's incredibly difficult to do that. That's why alot of authors only tend to have one good book that stands out to the rest. Or why fans turns away if another work is to different.

Its not an easy thing to achieve and it actually showcases skill to be able to come up with so many stories that have interlocking themes but still vary.
